Soooo beautiful. I never knew this place existed until recently. Truly amazing! Definitely a must see if you haven't been there.

A great stop! We really appreciated the trailer parking and loved that this trail is dog friendly! Pit toilets were smelly. Garbage cans weren't overflowing. Easy hike due to board walks and smooth rocks. Beautiful waterfall.

Beautiful, beautiful area. I am a UP native and come here every summer, it's one of those places that you just never get bored of. The trail is pretty easy back to the falls, I would say it probably takes about an hour to get all the way back there and enjoy it and then come back out, maybe a little more. Definitely worth the hike especially on a warm fall day, would recommend to anyone visiting the UP during the warm months!

Beautiful place to take a break from driving and rest. It is an easy path, mostly downhill there uphill back. Not too long. Very beautiful views. You walk along the river to a waterfall. The path is easy and takes about 10 minutes to go down 1 way.

This is a frequent stop whenever I head up north! The hike to the falls is about a half mile, and well worth it. Over the last several years, they have added some extra boardwalks, etc, to make the hike even easier! If you are the adventure type, also don't be afraid to visit this park in the winter! While the parking area and vault toilets are closed, the trail is still accessible. Grab your snowshoes and follow the trail markers... you won't be disappointed! You just have to park by the road and walk through the (closed) parking area! There is a decent sized picnic area to sit down and enjoy lunch before and ofter your hike too! RV parking is available, but very limited.

Roadside park with bathrooms right at the front (similar to Port-o-pottys). Well-kept trails that lead through streams and forest to a truly gorgeous river and series of small waterfalls. Better to visit in the spring right after the snow melts if you want to see them at max water depth (pictures for reference are from mid May, 2023).

This is a road side park. There is a path off the park. The path does help roots in some areas, boardwalks and others. They're also stone ledges you can walk out to they'll go over the river but once you get to the end there is a beautiful waterfall that leads into a gorge. This is a beautiful waterfall to go look at that could be mosquitoes so take your bug spray. I can also have a picnic in the park. The walk runs along the river so it is a very scenic walk

Canyon falls is great. Very scenic. You can see more if you go beyond the falls. Well worn rustic trail. Well worth the time.

A really neat roadside park with a beautiful set of rapids and waterfalls. The hike to the falls is relatively easy with many boardwalks and about a mile long. The North Country Trail also shares a part of the trail!

Great short hike and nice waterfalls. One of our favorite stops in the UP. Lots of nice boardwalks to keep you out of the mud.

Be ready for a small walk down a beautiful path. These falls truly show the wonder of creation. Set amidst the background of a beautiful forest, the canyon falls inspire awe. Truly awesome. There are also several spot along the path to view the river and the rapids leading up to the main falls. Bring a camera, and bug spray. But be ready to wonder at its amazement.

Beautiful waterfall. Bathrooms and picnic area up my parking lot and a walking trail down to the river and to the falls. Walking trail does have a lot of roots popping up through the trail, as well as rocks. So just be cautious if you or someone your with doesn't get around to well. Otherwise prefect. Glad I stopped and check it out. I recommend if your in the area, definitely take the couple minutes and go check out! 🥰😁💯

Beautiful, easy trail and epic falls/river/ canyon. Loved the picnic area for lunch with all the fall colors and leaves on the ground. So pretty! Dogs allowed on leash.
