👍👍 What a beautiful and historic structure! It was totally worth the few dollars it cost to climb the tight spiraling stairs and savor the best panoramic views in the city. A must do when in the old town. People often mention mosque, view, city, visit,

I was so excited when I found out that I can go on the top of the tower. I got a little bit dizzy because of the stairs, but when I reached the top I was so impressed about the view and I felt like I want to stay there all day, but unfortunately I visited this place with one hour before closing. The view from the top is really impressive.🕌🏙

🕌 The mosque offers one of the highest vantage points in the city what makes it worth a visit just for that reason. The inside is not breathtaking but definitely a nice cultural wonder when visiting the city. 💸 Don't forget to pay for your ticket 🎟️ on the way in - the office is on the left and will charge you 6 ROM to get in.

Quite a lovely place for muslims to feel some belonging. The receptionist was so nice and friendly and she even helped me charge my power bank so I can go on with my trip! Going up the tower is a must in order to see the city view and do not listen to those who say that it is not safe or the climbing up is weird; this is what you should predict going up a tower! It is completely safe and the view just makes you forget about the exhaustion you get from going up the stairs.

Great sight to see in Constanta with a great history....There is a huge carpet preserved from another mosque flooded by the iron gate dam from the Danube river build during communism under Ceausescu dictator rule...with a nice tower to visit which has about a hundred + stairs to climb...so you might get out of breath.

You can see the mosque from quite far away and it is a very pretty and impressive building. For obvious reasons I will not provide pictures from the inside of the mosque but it is definitely well worth a visit, especially when you are already in the proximity.

Worth a visit just because of the view from the minaret. The entrance is paid (6 lei for adult).

This is the biggest mosque in Romania built by King Carol I in early 1910s. It was built for Turkish Muslim Community. You can get whole city views and black sea port views from the top of mosque. The cost is 6 Lei per person if you want to go to top.

Biggest mosque in Romania and a historical landmark for Constanța City. Also a great view around if you climb the stairs all the way up, into the minaret.

Highly recommend to visit. We came, because we saw people standing on the Minaret. So we were curious. We paid 6 Lei. Really interesting and unique architecture style. The view is amazing.

The mosque was built between years 1910 and 1913 by the initiative of King Carol I of Romania on the place of Mahmudiye Mosque built during Ottoman sovereignty. It is also called as the King Mosque. I have not heard that it was called as The Great Mosque till google maps and because it is quite small mosque to call as “great”:). You can climb to the minaret by paying I think 5 Romanian lei. No payment is taken from muslims or Turks. I saluted the lady at the booth in Turkish and she let me in freely. Local Muslim community in Constanta city are from Ottoman times and are Turkish and Tatar origin that speaks a dialect of Turkish. It is a nice place to visit and to watch the city from top. There are not many historical objects within city from that period of history.

For visits the mosque it’s open until 21:00 pm. 6 Ron cash for a ticket to have a beautiful view of the port and Ovidiu square. Excellent for sunrise and instagram pics :)

😐 You can have a good time if you don't need to go to the bathroom, because there are only 2 public toilets, which are absolutely abysmal. I won't say anything about them, just make sure to find another way to take care of this before going to the beach. There are also no showers. The prices for the...
