Such an architectural jewel done by arh. Ion Berindei (he has lions in all his work), this building was home to an armenian trader. Later, it was lended to a less known local printer. It is said that one day, passing by this house, Zambaccian himself saw those paintings in such a wonderful place and fell in love with art. He later became one of the most famous art collectors in Romania. During comunism, The House with Lions was restaurated and became a restaurant. Unfortunately, nowadays awaits another restauration, being closed to the public.

A nice piece of art. The house is degrading as speaking. Once a rich house of an armean merchandise, now waiting to be restaurated. In the vicinity you can also see a nice graffiti with Jesus Christ and other building with an interesting arhitecture.

Great architecture so pity that is falling apart like so many other buildings in town . Pity !

Historic building. Needs protection from all its issues. Historical Oldtown in need of renovation and preservation.

Located in Constanta Peninsula, Emirzian house called the House with  Lions  due to four columns on whose capitals dominates the lions, hides many legends, in eager rivalry more misterious. By one of them is also bound  the name of Krikor Zambaccian.

Amazing architecture!

The villa is absolutely amazing. There's a capture on its walls to shortly describe the monument and draw attention to it (like for all the other buildings in this old city centre), however the irony is that it is absolutely derelict and seems forgotten, both by the locals and the tourists. The whole old city centre is a sad ghost jewel!!!
