I've been here in the last 3 years. The room's are big and very clean. Sorry but I have to edit my old review. After staying at this year at the same hotel I just notice the new staff and waitress are very rude ( special in the swimming pool area). They are very insistent to buy something all the time. Looks like they trying to force you to get something even if you spent lotts of money already. .

I wish there were 0 stars to give the hotel. It’s a scam. They have everywhere pool on their instagram and website and when you go it’s closed it wasn’t stated anywhere it was open. Solemnly this decision to stay here was because of the pool that was stated in their facilities. Very bad internet. Not suitable at all. Breakfast below average. Worst breakfast I had in my life. Rooms say Lakeview you can barely see the lake while looking from a certain angle. Overall not to be recommended. Ruined a family vacation.

Brand new hotel, super clean, comfortable room, with balcony. The bathroom is a tad bit small, but clean and modern. The sea view is worth it! The staff is super nice and makes you feel so welcomed and cared for, 5* attitude toward clients. Breakfast was very good, all quality choices. Restaurant is a bit expensive, but food was good. Went in May, so no pool or private beach available yet. The area is very nice, quiet, at the beginning of Mamaia, but shops and restaurants are a bit farr (only one Cherhana at walking distance). Free parking available. I didn't like the lack of a nespesso machine in the room. Most 4* offer this complimentary service, but they did offer 1 liter of complimentary water.

I came here with very less expectations since in Romania, the seaside services are expensive and mediocre. Buut, wasn't the case for this hotel. My room was very nice, everything looks well maintained and new, very clean and everything smells awesome. I can say that it's one of the best hotels where I stayed, at least in Romania. The food was very good and tasty! Just wow! I think is the first time when I'm such pleased about the food when hosted at a Romanian hotel. But I'm not speaking about the food a-la-carte. Only for breakfast and lunch, that was "included". We had a tentative on the first day of our stay to have dinner but we waited like 1h and 15 minutes for our food. Malibu hotel has private beach but what's frustrating is that people come very early in the morning to "reserve" the sunbeds by putting their towels on them. I juat don't like this Romanian thing. So obviously, I had to do the same and wake up at 07:30 just to go alone on the beach and get sunbeds for my family. Imagine that at 07:45, 90% were already "occupied". Anyway. The beach itself it's kinda bad. I like it a lot cos it's very smooth, like, you walk 100meters in water just for 1.5 meter deep. But, it smells mud (because nearby there is a corridor that connects a lake to the sea) and the water is full of algae. Oh, and you will also find mud in the sand :). I came with my wife and my kid, we stayed 4 nights with half-board, payed ~1200RON/night, end of July.

The hotel is pricy, but understandably so. The rooms and location are great, the food they serve is amazing, and they are truly a benchmark for cleanliness. On top of this, the staff is impeccable: manners, helpfulness, attitude, EVERYTHING. Whoever trains their staff deserves a raise. It's the only place in Romania where I've experienced Japan-level hospitality. (Not to say that we don't have other establishments with good staff, we do. But Malibu Hotel is in a class of its own.)

Is the best hotel in Constanta. They have a lot of things. Come with hotel MALIB.😁😁😁

Amazing value and love the beach bar with pool infront of the hotel.

It's placed on the beach, so the sea side rooms have a great view. Standard service for a 4 star hotel, good breakfast and lunch options. It's ok, but it's not the best stay I had at a 4 star hotel.

My stay was actually ok but the hotel charged me 55lei extra for a breakfast I never had which I told the receptionist and she lied to my face saying "I only charged one day". I checked the bill it said I paid it twice. I call the hotel she says "we will email you on monday to proceed to a refund" keep in mind it is SATURDAY. I say ok and am being very nice despite the ridiculous situation. On MONDAY, NO EMAIL. I call again, they apologize they say they will do it. TUESDAY I get the email and they ask for a IBAN number which being from Canada I do not have. I call again wednesday when they say my Canadian card didn't work. They say "no one is here right now call tomorrow. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? at this point it is just theft and although I do not need the money I will make sure I fkn get it.

It is our second year in a row coming to Malibu Hotel and we had the same great experience as in the first year. Despite restrictions their amazing staff made us feel like in a normal holiday. I cannot express enough how friendly and caring the staff is. Mamaia is not known for quality service but Malibu is the exception. Another very strong point is the restaurant, everything we tried was very good. The sea view suite is large and has a huge terrace. Especially great for a family with kids.

5 stars for a location on Mamaia. +Good and variate lunch options +Very clean. Helping staff +Close to the beach. Private beach +Very comfy & large bed +Beautiful seaview from the room - Too less sunbeds for the demand and not exactly near the water - The beach was not cleaned, only their private area, so the experience was compromised - Good breakfast, with options, but they were the same each day.

PROBABLY,BEST HOTEL ON THE ROMANIAN SEASIDE! Arguments: countless, quality of services, ambiance, the hotel itself, employees, management, security,food .... I have little space to write :). I recommend. The best quality-price ratio.

The best hotel I have ever been to. Great location, delicious food, large and clean rooms, and the staff is very friendly! I love it!

I had a lot more expectations considering the high price I paid for a room in this hotel. The rooms are okay, nothing impressive, but what troubled me was the weird smell in the room. The room smelled like it wasn't aired before. About the food I read very good things, but the reality is that the food is good. Again, nothing impressive. Lunch was better than the breakfast. At breakfast they served mainly had cold cut. For the price I paid would have been nice to have various cooked dishes. For luch, however they served a lot of good dishes. If you take a room faced to the street it's impossible to sleep with the window opened. In conclusion, the standard of the hotel is very low considering the prices they require.

Nicer place but compared with pricing of nearby hotels, this was expensive. Didn't like the fact breakfast wasn't included.

Nice rooms, nice room service & room cleaning. Everything smells really nice, like they have small perfume dispensers through the hotel. Location is great, I recommend a room with sea view. I also enjoyed the pool, cocktails and food. Romania can have nice things too but, money wise- you have to be prepared😊

Very good alternative to other hotels in the area. The only issues are the small pool and the small number of chaise longue. We also didn't eat at the restaurant, downstairs.

Top hotel, nicely decorated rooms, clean, nicely designed! Extremely professional, friendly and helpful staff! I was a guest before the "pandemic" broke out! I hope that the hotel will continue to operate smoothly this summer as well! Great destination, a recommendation for everyone!

Good location, very few parking spot, you can park at the other side of the street at the convention center - pretty annoying with lot of luggage. Main door motor doesnt work so you need to rotate it manually. Could be difficult for the elderly. Elevators are small, old and acting up every now and then. Staff has problems with English, even front desk. The wristband for breakfast is the biggest bs I've ever seen in a hotel as you are being asked for your room number anyway (just like everywhere else). The sea is very close, the view is pretty good. Although the local Fast and Furious teenage guys are frequently racing in front of the hotel after it's dark. All in all, compared to another 4 star hotel in the city this was a definite setback and for this price some of the services have pretty average quality.
