A very nice experience in this place. We went to a business seminar here and it was quite comfy. We first went to the reception and asked the receptionist for details about the event she was very friendly. After that we went to the ballroom. There was not enough space for all of us in the conference room. Here we found a huge open space suitable for all kind of events. Bottom line we liked it and I vote 5 stars :)

Rooms are fairly small for the price. Views are also not great. There is a very old tv with no smart features. Fridge is alsp small and barely working. It's also full of their paid junk. Did not feel like a 4 star hotel. Staff is either nice or completely uninterested in helping you. Pool is nice but there are few chairs there. Also you can only order from their bar. No pool rules are imposed either. Breakfast is very good and varied. Best feature of our stay. They also have a beach area so you have a reserved place there, which is nice.

Not impressed… The hotel is gorgeous, close to the beach. Great location. Clean rooms. A nice gym and sauna. Not high season yet, so didn’t get to try the pool. Food was nice. However the customer service was horrible. Except for ONE receptionist, Sofia (who was extremely kind & helpful), the rest of the staff were rude and disrespectful (except the cleaning ladies). I was traveling with my partner who does not speak Romanian. She is a foreigner, which you can tell just by looking at her. I don’t know if that is why the staff was STARING and WHISPERING when we would walk by or sit at our table, but it was very uncomfortable. No one except the receptionists(not all kind and welcoming) spoke English, which is shocking and unacceptable at a 4 star hotel at a tourist resort. Would not recommend for foreigners, chances are you might not be able to communicate with them and might not feel welcomed.

This is an older, high-end hotel with conference halls and ballrooms. Glossy floors, high ceiling, ultra clean, classy furniture, and roomy spaces. DelMar is almost on the beach. It is centrally located near beach shops, amusements, and restaurants. The parking lot is small but always attended by physical security. Nice garden in the main entrance. This is a really nice hotel. The staff is attentive and friendly as expected. Their morning buffet provides an excellent variety of foods. There were alot of families there of different age groups. I would stay there every time I come to Mihail kogalniceanu. Thanks

Ups: great location, clean and welcoming hotel, spacious rooms, good breakfast, great pool. We had a suite which has a great view behind its glass wall toward sea. Large enough for our needs, a familly with 2 kids. Special wows for the ladies at the Front Desk who checked us in before time and were so helpfull during stay. Same for both housekeeping ladies which made us feel so confy. Saw few times the hotel manager involving herself all over property's operational, gratiously and proffesional. Downs: pool boy not so experimented in serving guests, offering limited composed drinks. Sometimes food served by the pool is not what was ordered. FB manager came and fixed situation.

I am a business traveler and traveling for work. So I have to get up in the morning and work. There is loud music playing all night long in a nightclub or bar right next to the hotel. I could not sleep. Absolutely not recommended for business travelers.

Really nice hotel, spacious rooms, and the staff was as polite as they should be.

The rooms are clean. Great location. The service leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast is very good.

Great hotel. Clean and very good breakfast ( food diversity). The only minus is that the view of the room was quite creepy, you couldn't see the lake or the sea, only some gray rooftops and quite noisy outside. The beach is at 3 min walk. We would recommend it.

Ballroom ok, but the bathroom is pretty far and not well ventilated. Food was ok ish.

It was a great experience. The personal is very kind and well trained. I have no words to describe the restaurant, each food is execllent. I recomand with pleasure the beef salad, is perfection. The rooms are nice and the heat is up when is needed, so it’s a great stay al. around the year. Keep up the good work.

The location is suitable for large weeding parties or other large events, the staff provided a prompt service at the tables and the food was good. Overall for the way they handled a weeding of 400+ persons I would recommend the location. Don t know anything about the accommodation provided by the hotel so I wish you all a good stay.
