Well, I do not recommend this place. You should wait very long for not so good food (my pizza was without cheese, and, I suppose, without enough salt) . Waiter (old man) was unpolite to my friend when she asked for extra bottle of water. I understand that you can have a lot of people, but if you can not manage to serve everyone good, please, reduce space to make your job good. Ps, lemonade was ok

Pizza had no taste. We ordered prosciutto e funghi, and they threw a single slice of mushroom on the whole pizza (without exaggeration). When we asked for the check, the waiter (one of the older ones) tricked us by saying he ‘forgot to mark the 3 sauces of the pizzas’. He, however, arbitrary wrote a sum (which wasn’t divisible by 3) on the check. When confronted he told us the real (?) price which was lower, and then he was complaining that we didn’t tip. Definitely a place to avoid.

They add dishes not requested, and make you pay for it. And moreover, they are not happy with the tip given and ask for more.

Very disappointed, honestly! We went into the restaurant and we had to wait 45minutes for someone to notice us...we made several signs to the staff though. Not even after those 45 minutes, nobody took our order. We were 9 people at the table...and we had to leave after more than half an hour, hungry and disappointed!

Edit: This is one of the few restaurants which are actually open in the Mamaia after the holiday season ends in September. If you’re staying there, and looking for food, this is the place to go. Been here a second time and the food was pretty decent. Full of flavour and the prices are very cheap. The menu is quite extensive and the restaurant is very quiet in October. Both times we were the only people inside the restaurant. It was quiet enough that I could hear the microwave buzzing in the kitchen. I assume that the meats are frozen since there is not much trade coming through so they’re unable to use fresh all the time. However, once the meat was defrosted I could hear it sizzling on the grill so it’s still prepared relatively freshly. Original review: Okay place to go to. There are quite a few insects flying around and the toilets probably aren’t the most hygienic around. Food is traditional Romanian food so it’s worth a try if you’re around. Chicken soup tastes very authentic and the mici (little meat rolls) are good enough.

Not that bad..

Service was not good. We had a table of 3 and they forgot one of the meals. Also, they brought salad 10 mins after the meal. Pizza was absolutely terrible. Will not go back.

Great food and staff!

Amazing food and fantastic staff. We always come here when we visit Constanța and we’ve never been disappointed. Please try the carp, it’s delicious.

The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it if you visit Mamaia.
