First time here, got some appetizers and drinks before going to a show at the Fox just right across the street. Sat at the bar, our bartender was friendly and the food & drinks were delicious!

Food was just OK for me. Most people in our group liked it, but I'm more selective mainly because I cook. I didn't care for the Caesar Salad or Creme Brulee. The Caesar was more like a wedge salad and i don't like them. The Creme Brulee was watery and wasn't sweet enough for my liking. The Butternut Ravioli wasn't very favorable. However, service and ambiance were great!

To be honest, this is an upscale restaurant, but I wasn't impressed with the food. The food was mediocre. I have had better but it's located directly across the street from The Fox Theater which makes it convenient. But it's really not worth the price you pay.

My mom and I had a reservation at 5:15pm which we thought would give us plenty of time to make our show at the Fox which started at 7pm. We arrive and were sat by the hostess. We waited 20 minutes after being seated and nobody ever came to our table to take our drink order. I had to seek out the hostess who was kind enough to take our drink orders and put in an appetizer order for us. Finally our server comes over and we go ahead and order our food. We wait, and wait and wait. Our server doesn’t come back to the table but once during this time and we had to ask about our food. It comes out at 6:40pm and both mine and my moms steak were not cooked anywhere close to how we ordered them. Frustrated and not wanting to be late to our show, we send them back. We pay and head to the show hungry. No apologies from the server. The whole experience was awful.

Had a wonderful time at this restaurant! Zeta was an amazing server and never let us run low on anything even with the floor fully packed! The food was delicious and I’ll definitely be eating here again

Okay so, we go there and the staff was not the friendliest. The atmosphere is okay, but nothing special like the pictures show. The staff was somewhat friendly, but not really there to attend to you, we got there around 5:30 in the afternoon and asked to be seated at a different spot, but were told they were taken. Mind you, there were not many people there and we left at 6:30 and those spots were still empty. Okay now to the drinks, they were okay, typical too much sugar not enough alcohol type. To the main point, the food. The bread that came was stale and just bland, like really stale. The only reason food gets a 2 star is the Crab Soup and my wife's Wedge Salad. I ordered the Steak Frites and she got the Lobster and Shrimp Pasta. Her food was okay, nothing special, barely any Lobster and only 3 pieces of shrimp, the sauce was okay. Onto my steak, I am a steak guy and this steak was nothing special, I have had better at Outback and Longhorn than this, I asked for Medium and It came medium well, when pointing it out, I was told this is how they do medium??? Okay, the fries were ice cold as if they sat there for a while and the seasoning on them was okay, needed extra salt. Now the only other reason this place gets a 2 star is the Key Lime Pie, this thing was great. Last thing, my wife before we even got our dinner told the Waiter that she would like an Espresso Martini after Desert, it never came, we were never even asked about it, we only got the check the moment the Desert came, and mind you that place was not busy at all, lot's of empty tables, and now I see why.

Had such a delicious meal and great experience tonight before a concert at the Fox. New management and new menu. The mussels were incredible, as was my sea bass entree. The service was also impeccable. Believe our server’s name was Aja.

This was my first time here and everything was amazing! I enjoyed the short rib, it was cooked to perfection. My server Zeta was very attentive and even helped me decided what I should try. Overall the experience was amazing and I'll definitely be returning.

As others have noted in their reviews - beware of Livingston and the downstairs speakeasy at Georgian Terrace Hotel. They both have an automatic gratuity policy of 20% that the server won't tell you about NOR will they provide you with an itemized receipt of your purchase unless you ask for it specifically. What they WILL do is bring a bill with a tip line that you'll politely fill-in at 20% if your service was good. That means you've given them 44% total tip on your restaurant or bar charges. It happened to us 3x this past weekend at the Livingston Bar, the Livingston Restaurant, and (apres-show at The Fox) - the downstairs bar (speakeasy). Infuriating and a bit slimy if you ask me. Now...here's the thing...our stay at the Georgian Terrace was wonderful. Our room was awesome. The valet, the front desk clerk, the maid, the bar and restaurant servers were all great. The food took a while to come out pre-show but we had the steak and it was well-prepared (nice job, Chef!) and our wines were properly served at the right temp. I actually don't even mind the auto-gratuity in this case - I understand these folks work HARD and rely on gratuity. In my view - it's just completely unnecessary to NOT be transparent and ruins the experience. YMMV but - be aware and vigilant for now. Georgian Terrace - you're better than this. I will also send an email to the hotel's owner Southerly Hotels as I believe this practice - while likely necessary in a large city environment - should be clearly stated at the time of reservation and again while being served. I don't mind it - I just want to know and see the charges clearly on my bill.

Absolutely amazing service. Our server Kelly, was the most attentive, polite, and professional server I’ve had in a long time. All of the were standing around, waiting to assist tables, they weren’t on their phones or talking to each other, being distracted. I would come back here because the service was that great.

Restaurant is awesome!! Brought my wife here for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. Our server Ozge was very knowledgeable and helpful about our food choice! We ordered the salmon chips as appetizers and the steak well done! It was perfect, juicy, and we'll seasoned. You could cut it with a butter knife. The service was great and the head chef even visited our table to rate our experience. The view was amazing, right across the street from the historic Fox Theatre in Atlanta! We will definitely return and stay in the hotel next time!!!

I was staying at the Georgian Terrace and decided to drop in after dinner for a drink since it is a part of the hotel. I’m not sure what was going on but the restaurant part was closed and only the bar was open. Since we only wanted a drink that was okay but then when I asked for a drink menu, he said they didn’t have one and only had house wines and liquor available (and beers). We ordered two glasses of Pinot Noir and we got two different glasses and two different wines (both extremely cheap wine that you can buy the bottle for $12) and ended up with a bill of $28. This restaurant shouldn’t be advertised as fine dining.

Don't be fooled by the pictures and the ambiance. The only reason the food is getting 2 stars is because of the she crab soup. Everything else was subpar (and that's being nice). The entire experience felt rushed besides having to wait 20 minutes to get our cocktails. They brought out our salads and entrees at the same time and tried to play it off like that was normal. Also, we ordered a bottle of wine and I pointed out that it was not a cabernet (as advertised on the menu) but was a merlot and again they played it off like I was the first one to point it out. Waiters running around (literally sprinting). Overall just a hot mess. Don't expect an elevated dining experience here before a night out at the theater.

The service was awful and slow which really ruined the experience. Waitstaff was unprofessional. We couldn’t locate our server and had to flag down another waiter nearby to put in a drink order and he started ranting about separate checks, very petty and unprofessional. I had to ask him to just send our waitress over (instead of dragging your customers into trivial matters- they should have resolved it amongst themselves in private and spare us the details- it isn’t the customers problem to solve). The wait time for the food and drinks was very slow, otherwise the food itself was good and the ambiance is beautiful.

We went before a show at The Fox. We didn't have a reservation, but was allowed to sit in the bar area. We had to order off of the bar menu, but the food was delicious and our server Ruthie was awesome. Would definitely make reservations so, we can experience the whole menu.

Worst service ever. We had 11:30 reservations and were seated about 11:35. At about 12, we had not been approached by anyone to take our order or even to provide water. We stopped a server, who had a very surley attitude and "said" he would take our order, but he did not even write it down nor come back to check on us. All we ever got was a glass of water from someone else. At 12:15, we got up and left and ended up with popcorn and a drink at the Fox for our lunch to make the 1:00 PM performance. Never again!

Just, no. I went to the Livingston’s “Thanksgiving Feast” with a few family and friends this year. Never again. Two positives: The building is beautiful. And parking was included The meal was an $85/person buffet. The food was mediocre. The service was terrible - which is saying a lot when all the staff needed to do was maintain the table by clearing plates and re-pouring the overpriced, not-included wine. Neither of these things happened. “Live entertainment” was advertised. Maybe it’s me, but I do not consider a DJ to be live entertainment. Additionally, we were told that we could not get separate checks. Then we were told that we could use only one credit card. Only by insisting were we able to get reasonable accommodation on the payment. Overall, a very underwhelming experience.

Arrived for our reservation on time. Waited 35 mins for a glass of wine. Received no bread service. Had to ask the food runner for knives, extra plates and condiments. We asked for an $11 glass of wine but the bill reflected a $15 glass of wine because they were out and the waiter never informed us. Great location for before a show but you better book a super early table. Manager(s) walks around doing nothing when they should be assisting their understaffed floor.

We booked a table for 4. It all started out great. Waiter was very attentive…our apps and drinks came. Delicious. Then we waited and waited for our dinners. When they finally arrived everything was ice cold. We looked for our waiter and asked another to find him. Finally, he came by and seem irritated that we weren’t happy. Like it was our problem. The fries in the steak frites were ice cold. The steak was tepid. The potatoes with the short ribs…ice cold. The sides along with the filet were ice cold. The filet was to be med and came out basically rare. A manager came over and said he’d see what happened. We did ask for new HOT sides. They finally arrived once we had eaten the meal. Our bar drinks weren’t refilled in a timely manner. At the end we had asked for coffee to have with dessert. Was told there was no coffee and would have to wait 15 mins. Strange. A cup of coffee showed up…waiter said “the dishwasher found it “ 😳 it was ice cold. This was a pretty pricey meal from an upscale restaurant. We expected much better food quality and service. At the end when the bill came. The 20% tip was added into the total. Weird since it was a party of 4. Not impressed with this place. Look elsewhere. NOT worth the price.

My wife and I have lived in midtown for approximately 3 years and we were walking on Peachtree and happened upon the Livingston Restaurant & Bar. We had not been there previously and frankly did not know it existed. Much to our pleasant surprise, the bar and restaurant are beautiful. The part that made our visit so outstanding was the way we were treated by Jah, an experienced bartender. We had a mimosa outside at their outdoor tables and Jah was a very attentive bartender with great social interaction. He explained the history of the historic Georgian Terrace Hotel. Jah is the type of individual/server that makes you want to go back time and time again, which we will. Thank you!

This wasn't our favorite experience while in Bozeman. Two of our drinks tasted like dish soap. Our waitress didn't really seem to understand what was going on and had lots of issues, spills, mishaps, and didn't make it the best experience for us. I am not super critical but it was enough to make me want to leave a review.

Was heading to a show at the Fox and gave ourselves plenty of time to grab a snack before going to the theater. Never got our drinks, including just a glass of water. Food (shared appetizers, including Brussels sprouts) delivered without plates or utensils or even napkins. Chicken lollipops were underdone, pink. Brussels sprouts were also underdone and under-seasoned. Never going back.

I was in town for The Wiz on broadway with family and we decided to go to The Livingston Restaurant and Bar for BRUNCH! During brunch time I received excellent service- the coffee tasted so good and Fresh. I had my kiddo to I bypass the mimosas- bummer but they looked refreshing! Family had Crabcake Benedict’s, my daughter had the French Toast which was SO GOOD ! All of it was good. The clean ambiance was very nice. I would definitely return on my next trip to Atlanta. TikTok coming soon! 🥰

Earl was the best part of our dining experience! He was kind, professional, and provided excellent service! His genuinity and enthusiasm shined throughout the entire time! I will be back to see him! I've been in the service industry for 15 years, and I am truly impressed!

Went for breakfast while staying at the Georgia Terrace Hotel. I and other customers had to get our own water refills, and the credit card machine behind our table beeped the entire time like a dump truck driving through a mine field. One waiter for the restaurant. Not a hello, how are you, or any semblance of human interaction. Do yourself a favor and bring your own breakfast.

Loved the low country boil! In a city with a lot of fried options, it was great to find something I could eat that worked with my diet. Delicious! Even better was when I was at the restaurant before they switched over from the theater dinner menu, the chef graciously agreed to make the low country boil for me. I thought for sure I was going to have to find somewhere else to eat that night. Everyone was so kind and the food was delicious!

The hotel in which this restaurant hides is amazingly beautiful. The restaurant itself is as gorgeous. The food here is sooo good; however, pretty pricey for the dishes. The Salmon appetizer on the BBQ chips is really good, but too much mesquite powder. I felt like I was inhaling it with every bite. The cream cheese and capers was a nice touch on a flavorful blend. The creole scallop carbonara was sooo delicious and the grits twist was exceptional. A bit disappointing to only receive for scallops in the dish. The low country seafood boil was good as well.

Took my family here for Mothers Day brunch @$95 each. Very disappointed! The food could have been amazing, however everything was cold. Cold bacon, cold sausage, cold chicken, cold fish, cold eggs. Bottom line, If I spend almost a hundred per person for brunch I expect it to be fresh and hot. My first and very last time dinning here.

Pear salad was better than the peach salad. Chicken and Braised short ribs was good. Cobbler wasn't amazing. Burnt top that would not crumble. Our server Sheba was really nice, welcoming and knowledgable. Pricey for the overal experience.

I am sorry to share that I was quite disappointed with Livingston’s. I took my family and a friend to the restaurant because I thought it would be perfect to have dinner there before the Alvin Ailey performance last night. While the entree was a good but inadequate size portion, I was shocked that it was overpriced and underserved. For the price and ambiance, I thought Oshe would have been more professional, efficient, energized, engaging and in top of things. Unfortunately, I will not return or recommend it. We had a great experience at Edgar’s P & P below Livingston. Jerel, the manager, Ruth & the rest of the bar staff kept us well fed and watered for 3 evenings. But the star was Sequoia. She hustled through that room with a smile and a laugh while serving at least 10 tables. She even stayed late on Saturday to make sure our group was covered. Great!

Paid the Bed and Breakfast rate at the Georgian Terrace Hotel. My wife and I waited in line for over 30 minutes to be seated. We did not see one person at the desk during that time. There were other patrons waiting in line with us (most with reservations, some without). No one came to explain what was going on…..nothing….no communication.

Food was not worth the price. turnips were served in place of potatoes and were hard, gravy was equivalent to a powdered mix brown gravy, mixed drinks were terrible, service was slow took over an hour before our order was taken and we were 1st to be seated. the waiter put someone else's drinks at our table and left faster than we could inform him, then came back and took the drinks straight from our table to the other ordering table, they had been on our table for nearly 5min. The entire restaurant cleared for the show before we received desert. Also don't make reservations between 5-7 on show nights bc you will get a menu with only 3 options. When we asked for a regular menu we were given attitude and told that it was given to us as a favor, however, we weren't told weeks ago when we made reservations that only a selected menu was available. I will not be back.
