This was the most amazing experience ever! Lots of turtles, rays, amazing photos! Small group, only 5 of us and photos were taken individually. I wouldn’t book with anyone else as others have larger groups which is not as safe and photos are not done individually. This is a must do in Rarotonga! From Australia x

If you are a bit nervous about going snorkelling with the turtles then ‘Rarotonga Turtle Tours’ are for you. They only take a maximum of 6 people out at a time (unlike other groups in the 20’s) which makes you feel super safe. If you are nervous being in deep water like I was, they have life jackets available and each person is also given a flotation device. After a safety briefing they pull you out to the turtle area sitting on paddle boards (don’t panic - they help you on) and then they help you on with your gear. You have a snorkelling lesson and then the two guides escort you to the turtle area. At no time did I feel scared or unsafe. The masks fitted well and didn’t fog up which was brilliant. One guide told me he took an 85 year old out who had never even been in a swimming pool so if she can do it so can you! They took around 100 photos of us that they airdropped. The staff were friendly, confident and very safety conscious. It was well worth the money for the amazing, safe experience. Thank you for providing us with the memory we will never forget. A young company that has everything to grow. They are very concerned with providing the best customer service. Tours are private. They set up a meeting point with us but it wouldn't be necessary, if you follow the location of Maps, it will give you exactly the place. Then an initial briefing was done, they explained everything from the moment we left the land. They lend snorkel gear, life jackets and water shoes. We will go on paddle boards to the natural swimming pool, where the turtles live. I was insecure and preferred to swim with a vest but I always had one of the swimmers with me, with buoys to support me and be able to rest. Everything is done with the utmost respect for the animals, without any invasion. The photos were delivered the next day. I highly recommend it!

I can't recommend Rarotonga Turtle Tours enough. I went along with my family for a tour, and everything from start to end was on point with the team. Thanks to Kato, Kali, Tiki & Scholar, their teamwork was immaculate 👌🏽 Their genuine care and love for others shows through the way they respect, nurture and ensure everyone is comfortable in every way on the journey of their tour. They are not there for the money, they are here to make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience and gets an opportunity to encounter the turtles individually. They also make sure safety is paramount and that everything/everyone in the water is taken care of (including ensuring all rules and safety measure are taken care of from beginning to end - they will not take anyone out if it is deemed unsafe, bad weather or without the correct resources. When we went out, I noticed a tour guide from a different company had no flippers on and they also didn't have enough floating devices or paddle boards incase anyone gets tired and needs a rest). Having those resources available no matter how confident you are, was definitely something to show they make sure safety is top! 👌🏽 I went on a Turtle Tour with another company in Feb, and I got nowhere near as good of an experience as I did this time round. And I had to swim out to the passage from start to end... no floating devices or paddleboards. I was tired before even reaching the passage. With Rarotonga Turtle Tours, I got the full experience and without feeling tired at all. The team are all fit, experienced and communicate very well between eachother to make sure everyone is safe and that everyone gets the beat possible encounter on the day. They captured our special moments and how Beautiful our photos were! We got our photos instantly and it was easy to recieve them aswell. I took my mum and my nephew along who weren't confident swimmers, and both of them left the water feeling confident and having had the best experience ever! My niece also came and is a very confident swimmer. She wanted to dive under and explore freely, which they allowed her to do so, with the kindest reminders of making sure she was close by and always came back to the floating devices when needed. The team cared, and looked after us like no other. I would do this tour with Rarotonga Turtle Tours over and over again in a heartbeat! The price was definitely well worth it! And I wouldn't go with any other company but theirs! Once again Maitaki Ma'ata to Kato, Kali & the team... and a huge, Ata wai wolo!

The best activity to do in Rarotonga, they are the best! It was truly a magical experience to see sea turtles up close in their natural habitat. They also emphasize on small groups, which is exactly what I was looking for. I also particularly appreciated the help of Kaliana for helping me organise transportation to the start of the tour and then to go to the airport right after to catch my afternoon flight back home.
