The was the perfect place to stay for us!! It was so convenient to walk to shops and restaurants. Our room was lovely, the bed was super comfy, and the food was just fantastic! We loved our time with Glady and Larry; they are perfect hosts! I loved the outside areas (porches and patio) and spent some time just chilling on the big front porch in the swing! Will definitely come back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Gladys and Larry. What a wonderful location with folks that actually welcome you into their "home." The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch with a glass of wine while we played checkers. Will definitely stay here again if our travel plans return us to Dillsboro.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away. The place was so clean and decorated to a tee. We enjoyed the fellowship with the other guest and Gladys and Larry was phenomenal. The food was five star. It was a plus that they had drinks and snacks for us during our stay. The little town of Dillsboro is a great getaway. Great restaurants! Great shopping.

For our first trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, we feel fortunate that we found the Whistle Stop Inn in Dillsboro. The Pullman suite was perfect for our family of 4, the breakfasts were delicious, and the kids really enjoyed the snacks! Even on a rainy day, it was easy to walk to restaurants and stores full of local arts and crafts, and our hostess Gladys truly made the stay enjoyable for the whole family.

I really enjoyed my stay as I was visiting my daughter who lives in the area. Rather than stay at a hotel, Whistle Stop feels like home away from home! The breakfast is delicious, and the service is impeccable! There is nothing like rocking on the front porch with a cup of coffee early in the morning!

I chose to stay at the Whistle Stop Inn as it was a nice change from a hotel. I chose the Pullman Suite as my 13 year old granddaughter appreciated not having to share a bed with her grandmother. We were enjoying a spring break vacation (from Indiana). My granddaughter absolutely loved it, roomy, large bathroom and a very nice cooked to order breakfast. Very clean and comfortable, convenient location. You can hear the traffic on the road in front, but it was quite muted and very quiet by the time we went to sleep. I am a light sleeper, but it didn't bother me. If in the area again, which I hope to be, I would definitely stay here again. Definitely a lovely change from the usual hotels. Appreciated the refrigerator with drinks and the coffee maker available to make coffee or tea any time.

Perfect set up for a girlfriend getaway. Gladys and Larry were very accommodating. Breakfast was a great way to start our days of exploring the area-shopping, hiking, eating and drinking are all nearby!

This was the most charming bed and breakfast!! The room we stayed in was called The Caboose it was just the right size for my husband and myself. It was clean and decorated very nice. Unfortunately we were not able to eat breakfast the next morning due to the supper we had the night before didn't agree with either one of us !!! We were looking forward to the made from scratch pancakes but had to decline this time. 😘😘 Gladys made us feel at home and like we were family !!! We enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her !! If we come back we would definitely stay here again !!! The only thing that did bother me was the steep incline to where you go to park. She did warn us the driveway was steep!!! But that was just me and my anxiety issues !!! You can always park across the street in the public parking lot and that is what I would do next time !!! Highly recommend this bed and breakfast!!! 😊😊
