This store is a wonderful rustic gem! Friendly staff, great ice cream & a beautiful variety of gifts and souvenirs. The hearts of the family who owns it has gone into it 100%. The campground is beautiful. There's a very talented, friendly, hard-working gentleman who does the landscaping - lovely flower beds, one of which is a fairie garden creatively crafted with items he got from the dollar store. I'll share a photo.

This place is awesome. You are literally right across from the entrance to Cummings State park. The sites are spacious, we are use to camping the Smokies and most RV parks would have put 2-3 campers between ours and the next site. I snapped this pic as we were leaving to show how large the site really was. Large mature trees, lots of shade. Room for kids to play. The roads are gravel so that makes a difference with bikes and scooters but there is plenty to do for the kids. Horse shoes, small playground and large open area and well as a walking trail that circles through the woods. All lots looked really level and ours was very nice, site #6. The bathhouse is VERY nice with large showers that you access from the outside of the building. Hot water for days! Highly recommend this place! We will be regulars here!

Love this campground, it sets the bar for all others!! This is the cleanest, best maintained, and most quiet/peaceful campground I have ever stayed at. The full hookups are clean and well placed. If you use other than 50AMP, bring adapters. The gravel pads are long and sites are spacious. The general store is awesome, we loved the ice cream parlor and root beer floats. The private showers are nicer than many hotels, with full tile, plenty of room to move and great lighting and ventilation. The management is super friendly and accommodating. A side note: If you are a noisy partier, this is definitely not the right place to be.

This has to be the nicest campground around. Lots are level and large (not right on top of your neighbor), beautifully landscaped, lots of cute decorations. The store is just a treasure trove of jewelry, camping items, trinkets plus some really good food and great ice cream. And the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We have been staying here for several years. We found it when our son was going to TN Tech and we wanted to visit. it’s right outside the gates of Cummins Falls, a beautiful hike.

Absolutely our favorite campground! This was our 2nd stay at Old Mill and can’t say enough good things about it. The staff/owners are very courteous and attentive. The general store is well-stocked and even has homemade sandwiches and ice cream. Campground is exceptionally well cared for and sites are spacious and level. Showers and restrooms are CLEAN and very well attended to. We will definitely return! As I’ve said previously, definitely our favorite campground!

Beautiful well kept campground. We had a 3 day weekend here. Very quiet & calm place. We love it and hope to come back in the fall. They have a great little general store with very friendly staff. Plenty of roads and trails for walking. If you have the chance, definitely go on the Dabbling Duck Charter to the falls!!!

My wife and I stayed here for two night and it was very nice. The campgrounds is very clean and neat. Roses line the road on each side. They have a very nice playground area and a lot of families with children were here at the same time as we were. The bathroom facilities are one of the best that we have ever experienced. Very clean and spacious. The showers are full room tiled stalls and are very clean. The store here is real nice also. We had a chicken salad sandwich that they make and it was delicious. They have hand dipped ice cream and plenty of souvenirs to buy. This was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

My son and I came in from Nashville for three nights to hit all of the hikes and waterfalls that we could on the plateau. Decided to "glamp" at one of their two cottages instead of tent camping at another campground. Really glad we did! The cottage was clean and adorable. Well thought out with a fire pit and chairs, running water and electricity outside. A/C on the inside made for cool nights and days in the summer time. Shower facility was super clean and nice!

The friendliest campground!! We truly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill Camp! The owners and all the staff were very friendly and go above and beyond. You can tell they take pride in their family business. Very beautiful, quite, kid friendly and clean campground with spacious campsites. The bathhouse and showers were super nice and clean. The General Store is neat and has anything that you would need. We loved the free concert on the lawn on Saturday night. The kids enjoyed seeing Hershey the baby calf!! We will be returning soon!!

Nice place but a few trees could be removed to make backing in easier. I was in #2 and it was a blind side backing. The one tree close to the access road made it tight. Other than that it is a beautiful place. I wiah they sold propane. The store is closed for the winter.

We camped at Old mill campground for the first time this past week. This is a very quiet, serene and clean campground. Everyone from the girls in the front office/store to the owners, Joey and Tonya are extremely nice and make you feel like they appreciate you spending time with them. The sites are very very roomy so you’re not on top of your neighbor. It’s right across the street from Cummings Falls State Park if scenery and hiking, or some thing you enjoy. If you hike to the bottom of the falls, there is a huge swimming hole. We extended our stay by two days because we enjoyed this campground so much. We will go back.

This campground was about 10 miles off the hwy so very quiet. Big sites, lots of trees, would be a wonderful place to spend a week. Unfortunately we were just traveling through and stayed only one night. It was so quiet and relaxing. A place where you could sit out and enjoy nature and a campfire. Staff was amazing and thanked us for choosing their campground. We weren’t there on a night when they had live music, but it sounded fun. We did have to unhook as the site was slanted; our friends did also. But I would highly recommend this place and would say stay more than one night if you can!

I've stayed at Old Mill Campground 6 or 8 different times. I really like this campground; full hook-ups, large level sites, clean bathrooms and showers. The camp office is offsite, but I've always been able to reach someone when I needed to. Reservations are required and advanced scheduling is recommended as this campground does fill up. Dollar General is close in one direction, and gas station convenience store is close in the other direction. Located directly across from Cummings Falls State Park.

This is a lovely campground and we highly recommend it. Very clean, well maintained and quiet. The staff is amazing. I broke my foot 2 days before we were supposed to check out and they were amazing! Offering to help me and my husband get packed and loaded since I was unable to walk. We will definitely be back! Oh, and bonus, they sell hand dipped ice cream at the office/store!!

This camping spot exceeded our expectations. Due to their prime location, we were able to stay at Burgess Falls until closing and leave without worry of getting to our camping spot before sun down. Upon our arrival, we had issues with our electrical plug in. We informed the sweet girl at the front desk and the owner of the campsite was there to assist us within 15 minutes. We snacked on delicious chicken salad sandwiches and home-made deserts bought directly from their store. Also, the bathrooms were updated and very clean.

We just finished our stay (group of 10). This campground is amazing! They did not have the huge playground that we typically look for with kids, however, their playground was creative and kept the kid's attention for hours. They also had volleyball for our older kids. The grounds and bath house was well maintained and clean. Each lot was huge, spacious and shaded. We will definitely put this campground on our list to return to.

We are seasoned campers and this is one of the best places we’ve visited. We needed to be close to the hospital for a recovery/procedure. The owners went above and beyond to check on us and offer additional support. All of the staff from store clerks to maintenance were kind and helpful. VERY CLEAN and QUIET. Nice wooded areas to walk the fur babies. If you are visiting the falls/gorge across the road, you will need a gorge pass (found online through Tennesse state parks site). Water shoes are recommended and can be purchased at the Old Mill Store. We loved the bathrooms, gated entry, and ice cream! Large number of long term campers/traveling medical professionals

Booked this campground because it's proximity to Burgess Falls and it looked like wasn't placed in an open field. The camp was clean, spacious, and quiet. The fire pit was nice, bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We stayed here mid-September, so maybe we missed the busy season. We plan to visit again to check out Cummins State Park that is literally across the street. Would recommend!

Loved the small campground and the big spacious lots. The playground was awesome for the little ones and the store was perfect for an ice cream snack, water shoes, and souvenirs. This place is family owned and you can tell they take great pride in it. The bath house and restroom were always clean and centrally located. The fire pits were perfectly placed with stones placed around them. Such a beautiful campground. We will definitely be visiting again!

Beautiful area! Very clean and grounds are well kept. Campsites are spacious and wooded. Spaces are gravel and level. Area is well worth a stop by or longer stay. General Store has a lot of ole time farm items on display and outdoor objects to enjoy during a walk about.

Great campground.! The young lady working at check in was very professional and friendly. Hard to get these days. 😀 Thanks to the owners for making this place a great campground. One note, between spot 10 and 12 there’s a septic line with covers above the ground. You can get a small aroma when the wind is blowing right. On a positive note there’s lots of room between 10 and 12.

Our stay at Old Mill Campground was wonderful! This area in TN is truly a hidden gem . Very large areas for camping on a gravel pad . Area clean & scenery lovely. The General Store was just as adorable & Tonya / owner just as sweet. We did hit the peak of Fall here & was so beautiful in amazing colors ! Old Mill is across the road from Cummins Falls State Park . It was fantastic for hiking as there are multiple trails. Excited to come back !
