This is one of the best museums I've been to in a long time. I haven't always been into cars or automotive, but I couldn't stop smiling in this museum. I love seeing the classic cars, especially the limited production makes and models. The cars from the Highway Aircraft Association really stood out to me. This is a motor museum, so they also have Aircraft and Motorcycles and Lightweight Experimental cars and bikes, so I really enjoyed that aspect of it as well. Check out the middle-seat drivers, vans that look like airplanes, and other really cool exhibits! There are also some display cases and archives, but we didn't have time to go through the archives this time. There's even a truck with a S-10 engine that was made to look like a Hot Wheels Toolbox! I enjoyed every part of this museum. We were visiting family in Nashville and looking for things to do, and this was the perfect idea. We had a really good time! Thanks! 5 Stars, you should come check this out!

Lots of unique small cars. You can see them all in less than 30 minutes. Nice stop.

Good clean fun! Play area will keep the kids safely occupied for a long time. An incredible, charming combination of beautiful, rare, unusual, and genuinely ill-advised vehicles. And only $12 per adult with kids 5 and under completely free. We killed an hour and a half and loved it. The bike section is amazing too! I honestly hope to return one day when my kids are older.

What an amazing place to visit. I'm not a car fanatic but I would say that this place made me more appreciative of all the hard work of the makers of cars. I literally felt like I went back in time through the different cars on exhibit. I would highly recommend this place as a destination when visiting for all ages. They had a cute place for little kids to play so that the adults can enjoy these antique, unique and beautiful cars.

Very reasonable entry prices. The museum was nicely laid out and clean. All cars were easily accessible and easy to see in and out of each vehicle. There were a few pieces that you could interact with and they had a car you could sit in and take your picture.

Saw it as we were driving by and decided to stop in. Great car museum for foreign car enthusiasts. They have some very unique cars and vehicles. Was pleasantly surprised and will come back next time we're in Nashville.

The volume of cars in this museum is incredible, and we didn't even visit the vault. Be sure to watch the little introduction video before you wander around, it tells the story of the museum's beginnings. We'll definitely return and plan to do the separate vault tour next time!

I have seen features on television about this place and didn't realize it was the same museum. I am thrilled that we decided to visit. Such a great attraction and awesome vehicles that the average car show person has never experienced. This will be a must see again if I ever get back to Nashville. Definitely carve out 3+ hours if you enjoy autos and maybe an hour if you're not really into them, but a must see if you visit Nashville. The admission to the museum is reasonable and will be the best money spent while you're in town. I'm in awe and loved everything about this place. If I lived in Nashville I'd either find a way to work there or visit on a regular basis.

My whole life, I have been a car fan. How little I really knew! The Lane has so many examples of cars you have never heard of that your mind will boggle. A great experience.

This museum has a great selection of unique, vintage, European cars and trucks. There’s a large open space to walk around in, with not much separating you from the vehicles. You can’t get inside of them, but you can access most cars from all sides. I love typography, and there some car badge gems here. The gift shop is small, but there are fun auto-related gifts, key chains, and car model sets. If you like cars you won’t be disappointed with this place 😁🚘

This place is amazing. I've been in the automotive service industry over 36 years and my son suprised me today with us showing up at the museum. I just moved my son out here from North Carolina it was great walking around and seeing all those amazing vehicles and talking car talk with my son. It is well worth the extra money to take the tour of the vehicles they have in the basement. This building was a bread factory for years and then they turned into an amazing transportation exhibition of all kinds of stuff. The young man that gave the guided tour was very knowledgeable about the vehicles they had downstairs. They even have vehicles down there are for sale.

Amazing collection of cars with so much information about each one. It took around 2 hours to get around the first floor of the museum and although we weren't able to see the lower floor tour, it was still such a wonderful experience. The gift shops also had a range of cool collectables. Would 100% recommend for a day out

I loved this place! I was a little rushed and wish I could have stayed longer. I’m not a gear head, but I appreciate interesting and unusual cars and the Lane has them in abundance. I’ll probably go back next time I’m in Nashville. I also think $12 for admission is more than fair and appreciate the friendly staff and super clean facilities.

ABSOLUTE AUTOMOTIVE GEM! Has cars and micro cars you will not see at car shows. Great staff and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend seeing the vault! Mr. Lane did a wonderful job with this and would certainly come back!

Amazing facility. Big enough to spend a good amount of time but not overwhelming that you feel rushed. Great displays throughout with side tours run on schedule. Lots of great history and information.

I discovered this place while looking for something cool to take my son for a father-son outing. My son loves cars and this place did not disappoint! We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy which was nice. There were so many unique cars, automobiles, and even bicycles on display! Even the smell of all the vintage cars made the experience even better. Each automobile on display has a sign next to it with history, facts, and specs of them which was cool to compare them all.

Very interesting stock. Propeller powered, micro cars. Rare and exotic. Even an amphibious tank lander (scooter for scale). The vault tour on the weekends is well worth doing.

If you love old cars like I do, this place is a must see! It's called a museum for a reason. I've never seen the majority of cars there. I recommend the basement tour!!

Exceptional. Vault tour is certainly worth it too for any serious car nut (there was plenty of spots for both times on a Sunday, it's limited to 30 people each). Was a little disappointed the VW XL1 wasn't there (and I asked and two staff members said they couldn't find it). Everything else was great though.

Worth seeing, this place is a hidden gem for motor and engineering enthusiast. The owner started this project in the 90's. The museum has card from all over the world during the technology and industrial boom. So there's great history and cool vehicles to see. If it has wheels he has it or is getting it. Family friendly, parking is free, and they give Military discounts.

Best automotive museum in the South East. Got kids? They have incredible activities including a scavenger hunt. Never seen kids so happy exploring history. Coolest thing we did in Nashville. My wife, who is not obsessed with cars was completely enthralled by this unique collection.

Must see. Schedule the “vault” tour. It’s an extra $10 each, but so worth it. Hundreds of cars in the basement that are being restored or prepared to be on display. Military discount if you ask. So many rare cars.

If you're a car enthusiast, the Lane Motor Museum is a must-see. Well over a hundred cars from all eras and every part of the world, with lots of great info on each one. Every vehicle is beautifully restored like they just rolled out of the factory. Well worth the $12 price of admission.

Great selection of cars from all around the world. Excellent selection of Kei Cars from Japan too. Best is no barriers. Just don't touch the cars. Having no barriers or ropes makes for better pictures and you can see I to the cars better. Love this place. It has a good selection of motorbikes and amphibian vehicles too.

I've got a lot of photos to share, but honestly, it's not the same as being there. Take some time out of your day, plan a trip from out of state, whatever you have to do to see this place. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The cost is absolutely reasonable for the things you'll see. Many of these vehicles still drive, although you won't be able to do the driving. Even if you aren't a car enthusiast, this place is fun to visit. It's amazing to see cars from so many different places and rare finds as well.

You absolutely won't find a better value for the money as far as activities in Nashville go This was just a gem of a museum, felt like something out of the past both literally and figuratively. They have a fantastic variety of cars, most in terrific condition. Unless you're the most dedicated car person, you've probably never seen nor even heard of most of them. The staff was very friendly, and they fired up and drove some of the cars around as a demonstration. The Johnny Cash museum was twice the price of this place, but Lane motor museum is 10 times better. My favorites were the boxy Fiat 500s. There's also a neat selection of old bicycles and motorcycles to check out. It is absolutely worth your time to visit this very cool museum.

Wisited with 9 yo boy. $10 +$3 admission fee. Some interestingly weird cars, bikes, motorcycles and planes can be seen. There was some sort of play place for kids as well. It was a quick trip, about 30 minutes. They also have a souvenir shop. My child was super excited and happy to visit.

I'm touring the country and going to car museums along the way. The Lane Motor Museum became my favorite museum after my visit and it was so incredible with so many interesting, and some actually unique cars in their collection that I had to go back for a 2nd walkthrough the next day. The staff is very kind and informative as well.

Lane Motor Museum in Nashville is an ideal destination for fathers and sons who share a passion for unique and historic automobiles. The museum's impressive collection, ranging from classic European models to quirky, rare finds, captivated me. Exploring these automotive marvels, we bonded over stories and design details, igniting a enthusiasm. It's a fantastic place to spark conversations and create lasting memories. Highly recommend for a fun and educational day out!

Really cool place with lots of quirky and unique cars on display. The kids play area is also themed after cars and is very big. My kiddos (and us) had a blast! It was fairly inexpensive as well. Highly recommend it if you're looking to keep your little ones entertained in Nashville for a few hours.

This is a must see when in Nashville. Over 300 very unique and one of a kind vehicles - cars, boats, trucks, bikes, powered canoes. very reasonable prices and very clean and organized.

A must-see! I was "gobsmacked" to see so many unique vehicles. I took many pics along with my 18-yr old son. He went down into the vault (for an extra:$10 which was worth it) and appreciated the tour and all the work down there. He read the majority of the info signs and I read a lot too, but it was surprising how few other guests did. We were there about 5 hours!

If you've come this far to read the reviews to determine whether you should check this place out, look no further this place is awesome and apparently changes the show room cars every so often since they house over 500 Vehicles. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Amazing collection focused on unique cars from the last 100 years. All kinds of interesting designs; they restore them to working order and have great info about each car pr motorcycle. Some really cool handmade cars with major style. No Ferraris or Porsches but lots of fascinating stuff.

The Lane Motor Museum is a Nashville must-see spot with an affordable entrance fee, gift shop, and dozens of rare, foreign cars, motorcycles, bikes, and a canoe. Easy 90 minute attraction with free parking. Informative plaques for each vehicle. A few fun exhibits. Additionally, there is an area for children.

  • 5/5 Margaret M. 2 years ago on Google
We truly enjoyed this museum and all the beautiful cars they've restored and display. Only $12 and very worth it. There's a nice play area for kids to play with cars as well.

Amazing as ever. It has been a year or so since our last trip and so many exciting and bizarre new things to look at...

  • 5/5 James F. 9 months ago on Google
Wow, what an awesome museum! They have a LOT of rare, one-off micro cars, three wheeled cars, unusual cars plus some small aircraft and scooters and motorcycles. There also are models, bicycles and cutaway engines to see how they work as well. It is also extremely kid-friendly with a large indoor playground! The side garage is also interesting with a handful of military vehicles and the whopping big amphibians landing craft out the back! There was plenty of parking out the front or back. The restrooms were clean and tidy as well.

Incredible! Lane Motor Museum is the cat’s meow, the number one museum. I’ve visited dozens of automotive museums around the country and Lane is one of the most unique. With a wide range of imports and hard to find one-offs, you can spend hours in here and not see everything and never get bored. Not only unique, one of a kind vehicles but artwork, tools, airplanes, you name it. Very reasonable admission price and if you come at the right time, get the “underground” tour, it’s worth it!

  • 5/5 Russ P. 2 years ago on Google
If you want a journey though the most eclectic collection of cars, this is your place. Their no barrier policy allows you to take close views of the vehicles closer than ever before. BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T TOUCH THEM. And no I didn’t, they were just very clear about it. Take some time and check it out, you won’t be sorry.

  • 5/5 Isaac S. 9 months ago on Google
Absolutely loved the 2 hours spent here. The machine wasn't taking my card but the individual working the counter said it was our lucky day. The array of vehicles here truly are remarkable. The added bonus was free charging of the electric vehicle!
