While in the area our group decided to visit Warpigs Brewpub. It’s a cool spot where they specialize in smoked meats. We ordered brisket and sausages with a side of Mac and cheese and coleslaw, and topped it off with their key lime pie. Everything was delicious. They also have a wide selection of beers. This place is laid out with long tables and free seating. It's a laid-back atmosphere. Whether you're a BBQ enthusiast or just seeking a unique night out, Warpigs is a must-visit.

Cozy and informal place in the meat packing district. The best meat ever, but also the hush-puppies were great. Self service, a huge choice of beers and, as usual in Denmark, every waiter was under 25! It is an informal experience, but still very high standards of politeness, it is Danish.

Greatest for the delicious soft pork shoulder and hard rock metal environment! Wide beer variety as well as nice sides dishes. Top places to go in Copenhagen! Must go when I'm around. Definitely recommend anyone to go to Warpigs!

Comes highly-rated, so we had to try. And try we did, all the different types of meat on the menu. The brisket was the best thing. Come early, they run out of food in the evening. It's located in the meat-packing district of Copenhagen, so there are a lot of dining options around.

Like meat, beer and heavy metal? This is your place. It’s not all rockers, this is a place for everyone. Persevere and you will eventually get a seat and table. Worth the wait.

Visited twice on a recent visit. Brisket was superb, pork ribs excellent. burnt ends,Mac+cheese and roasted potatoes are very good sides . Our pulled pork was dry but ok with loads of sauce. Chicken wings are smoked and deep fried in a flour batter and are nice and spicy. The sausage is spicy and cheesy. Big range of beers, good atmosphere, nice staff and we were lucky to get a good bluegrass band.

Our first day in Copenhagen, we were looking for a place to eat when we came across this place. They sell 3 or 4 kind of beers and a simple menu with amazing food. I had pulled pork with potatoes seasoned with "dill" and a larger. My partner had a brisket with potatoes and a botomless fizzy drink. The atmosphere is amazing and relaxing, very informal and friendly.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Warpigs Brewpub in Copenhagen, and it was an absolute delight for any beer enthusiast. The moment you step in, the rustic yet inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a fantastic experience. The industrial-chic decor, with its exposed brick and metal accents, adds a unique charm to the place. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the beer. Warpigs boasts an impressive selection of craft brews that cater to a variety of tastes. From hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, every sip is a journey through distinct flavors. The knowledgeable staff is more than happy to guide you through the extensive menu, helping you find the perfect brew for your palate. The food menu complements the beer selection perfectly. The barbecue offerings are a carnivore's dream come true. The meat is succulent, and the variety of sauces provide a tantalizing range of flavors. Vegetarians also have enticing options that are equally satisfying. Service is prompt and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned beer connoisseur or just looking for a great place to unwind with friends, Warpigs Brewpub is a must-visit. The combination of excellent brews, delectable food, and a vibrant ambiance make it a standout destination in Copenhagen's thriving beer scene.

I’ve been brought here by a friend who has been living in Copenhagen for a decade and wanted to make me live the full Danish experience. We ordered an incredible Texas Smorresbrod with brisket and pulled pork. Some of the smoothest meat I’ve ever eaten! We also really appreciated their craft beers offer. Amazing place!

Highlight Not gar away from Tivoli, best Place to eat and experience where local enjoy the evening and some delicious food and bier. This spot should be on each guide! We have ordered the “Tropper Tray” to try different things! It is worthy of a visit!

Very nice place with interesting concept, the place and design are rather atypical. We didn't eat there but beers were really good with a wide choice. Very interesting experience to do. However the closing at 2.00AM even during the weekend is a bit sad especially when everyone started to get in the mood and dance, lights turned on and we were pushed out, but I guess it is not their choice.

Great meat and beer. I would recommend ordering the brisket since it is the best meat on the menu. I personally was not really impressed with anything else on the menu. Loads of beer choices. So if you’re in for a beer and some meat this is the place to go in Copenhagen.

Recommended to us by our tour guide, we did a beer tasting here and it was a great experience! 220 Damish Krone for 2 platters of beer, they had so many different flavours! Would definitely recommend

Great beer, great meat. Definitely recommended. Had the largest beef ribs I ever ate, unless you are really hungry go for the small dose. The Macaroni and Cheese are also good and the spicy pickles are a good palate cleanser.

A little slice of Southern BBQ in Copenhagen. Whilst the whole menu is very appealing, the highlight is the smoked brisket prepared in one of Europe's allegedly largest smokers. The place is a little rough around the edges - mix between a brewery and a backyard BBQ - but that actually just gives it a more unique feel and experience.

A really great funky spot for excellent beer and meat! Huge indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate many likeminded people ready to partake in their amazing libations. Be sure to come hungry as their BBQ meats are legendary. Highly recommend the Beef Brisket and the Spareribs…. and don’t forget to grab an awesome beer on tap, one of 20+ available!

What can I say? This place is legendary. Beer and meat. Perfect recipe for acquiring the "disease of kings": gout. Not that I got it, not yet. Someday. The meat is great, mac and cheese was delicious. Beer is all good and they donated proceeds of the beer I got to Ukraine! Awesome. The place is very crowded usually, and is quite loud. Don't bring your kids, it's not for them.

Very informal place, social tables, no service at the table but you have to pick up your beer and food self service. Great selection of beers, amazing meat (I had a burger and and ribs, both super recommend). Really nice vibe for a dinner with friends. We paid 580 DKK (80€) for three burgers, one portion of ribs, maccaroni and cheese, together with three beers.

Ribs are really good. Chicken wings is quite average to me as it is quite tender. Mac & Cheese on the other hand is quite chewy. Not sure if it is not fully cooked or what. The atmosphere is really good as a bar and restaurant since people will be fully enjoying themselves in there and even chatting with others. This is a self service place so you have to find your seat, then order and pay at the till and take your food back to your seats.

Ok, they stop serving flights at 5 and you can only get pints. You cannot hear the metal over the loud tourists. Benches are so 2000s. But…that magical moment when something good can be heard as you devour smoked meat and drink an excellent IPA remains worth it.

If you want meat, probably Warpigs is the best place in the city. Brisket, ribs, sausages, all together! 😁 Here you have only one challenge — survive) They have a nice selection of beers. Highly recommended!

Yummy, slow cooked meats, mash, mac'n'cheese and all your coronary vessels' desires. Huge beer selection, and if you order by the bar, you can sample taste before deciding! A bit crowded seating area, even quite early in the evening. Tip: arrive hungry!

Located in the famous meat packing district, this place has an amazing brisket and a wide selection of beers. It is structured as an office canteen: you take your own tray, ask what you would like to eat and then find a seat. After the kitchen is closed, the bar stays open and the music is very much enjoyable. Why not serving fries ?!?

Outstanding American style BBQ and about 20 excellent craft beers they make. Very popular with locals. A definite "must visit" location located in the meat packing district of Vestbro". Comfort Inn hotel an 8 minute away.

Amazing local hot spot beer garden for great beers on the patio and meat. We enjoyed the 1/4 brisket, 1/2 beef ribs and coleslaw. All three were amazing but the brisket is something that I’ll dream about until I have it again. Trust me on this one - I’m very (annoyingly so) picky about my meat. Also fun merchandise is available for purchase and free wifi available - even from outside.

Would recommend but .. Although food was good. It was full of people. I didn’t understand well where we had to order food, beer, etc. My boyfriend is allergic to garlic and they were not that helpful as of what he could order alternatively. I feel it was a bit overpriced by what they offer as of the infrastructure, etc.

I was kind of disappointed, based on the really good reviews we tried the food but it wasn’t as good as people are saying. Overpriced burger 🍔 Pulled pork burger was below the average. On the other hand , steak burger was really good, I can recommend that one. 👍 Interesting drinks and beer offer, you have “free” refill. The place looks very nice and employees were helpful.

Awesome and soft bbq meat selection. Highly recommended to try the trooper’s tray, which has a bit of everything. The soft drink is all you can drink. This place seems to be very popular so there are not enough seats.

BBQ was very good. Brisket was moist and tasty. As an American southerner I was pleased to see hush puppies and pimento cheese on the menu. The real key here is the large and excellent beer selection.

Warpigs have a great concept. Fantastically prepared barbecue, choose-your-own-adventure menu and micro-brewery beer or a fun soda refill station. While the restaurant itself was atmospheric and the servers were polite, but quickly on to the next customer (can’t blame them), I wasn’t blown away by the food. The pulled pork and brisket had a nice smoky flavour and looked fantastic, but were quite dry. It had a little bit of a “prepared in advance” feel to it. Others in my party, said their’s were juicy, so I will chalk it down to a bad batch. However, the sausages were great and the sides were all super tasty, and despite the above mentioned, I felt regret that I didn’t also try the spareribs and burger, so I will for sure come back to try those at some point! I have never had a proper American barbecue, so I was not able to rate this meal on authenticity. This was based purely on my own expectation and opinion, until I go to Texas.

A must go place! But don't go there for the ambience or the service, of which the quality is low! On the other hand, the food is amazing. Juicy brisket, spicy hotwings, savory pulled pork and a number of different greasy and we'll tasting sides.... The four star review doesn't do the food and beer justice, but the prices and the rushing, and at times rude, staff drags it down. This plate and one beer; 400 DKR

Amazing tasty food. A no frills restaurant, busy, great music, large selection of beers, free refills for soft drinks. Meat lovers paradise. Large portions and value for money. Recommended

An essential must-do for those that enjoy quality beer and delicious BBQ meats. We spent a few hours on a Sunday evening as the place emptied out a bit, perfect timing. Rockin' music in the form of 90s, 2000s Brit pop and punk pop. Hope to visit again some day!

Cool brewpub specialising in smoked meats. The place is laid out with long tables and it's free seating unless you've reserved a long table. Ordering the food is very efficient, you basically go up with a cafeteria tray and they slice up your meat in front of you. Food-wise, the smoked meats were good! Highlights were definitely the pork ribs and brisket. Sides were a little bit disappointing - the Mac n cheese was so-so, and coleslaw weren't great. However the fried shrimp was just about perfect! Very crisp light batter and juicy shrimps. There are plenty of beer options given this is a brewpub. The session IPA was outstanding. All in all, warpigs great place to visit if you are a meat lover. The atmospheres is interesting - with loud metal music blasting.

Good BBQ, from a Texans so that is a good praise, sauce is weird but good. Beer is all craft and good. I went in the afternoon and the sun is pretty intense so few places to avoid it if that is not your thing. Lots of seating outdoors and in. The bar is very isolating, not a place to hang.

During our visit to this restaurant, we ordered a selection of dishes, including small ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese, spicy pickles, and two beers. While the chef's demeanor was not overly friendly, it wasn't off-putting either. The brisket was undoubtedly a highlight, impressing us with its delicious flavor. However, the ribs, although decent, didn't quite reach the same level of satisfaction. The Mac and cheese was a pleasant surprise, offering a tasty side dish, and we particularly enjoyed the spicy pickles. Overall, our dining experience here had its ups and downs. While the brisket and certain sides left a positive impression, there were aspects that didn't quite meet our expectations.

It's a very relax and cozy place. We came on recommendation and said that glad we came. I ate the Trooper Tray (a little bit of everything). But even that was too much and I couldn't finish it. However the mac-n-cheese on the tray wasn't good. For the beverage part (non-alcoholic) sodas were low in gas, warm and tasted bad. But in general the meat products and coleslaw were very good and delicious.

The BBQ Place in Copenhagen. Excellent service and atmosphere, epic Beef Brisket and Ribs, pork, sausage & chicken was not something special, plus side dishes of pickles ,mac and cheese and coleslaw was a bit average. Big and great selection of Mikeller Beers Prices are even bigger than the mood of Copenhagen, payed 65 euros per person...

If you love beer and barbecue you'll love it!It's actually a self service but i voted 5 for the kindness of personal. the best brisket I ever had and a wide selection of excelent craft beers (not much alcoholic, very enjoiables). You can also smell the malt as brewing room is the same of restaurant!!!

Such a great place. We had mac and cheese, beans, brisket and pulled pork. It was really great. Go and try it, you will not be disappointed.

Many different types of beer, nice, friendly and energetic staff. Good food too! Since the place is spacious it’s always free table which is very convenient too. The food is very greasy. It’s also very difficult to order as you will not be served. I like them only for drinks!

  • 4/5 Kian F. 2 years ago on Google
Really nice rustic looking place. Smoked meat and homebrew beer. The ribs and pulled pork taste amazing! So does the chicken and blue cheese dip! Although the Szechuan wings are an acquired taste. The burnt-end baked beans are a perfect side dish! I would also steer clear of the potato salad. At least no one in our 4-person company loved it. Other than that we enjoyed our time here. 👏🏼👏🏼

Without a doubt a “must” on the list of any craft beer enthusiast. They have an amazing beer selection and very good BBQ food. Not for people on a diet :) Google maps directions need to be updated/revised. We were here in August 2021 and the google maps directions took us behind the building, in an odd part of the neighbourhood, without acces to the place itself.

You never failed us… Good food and craft beer…. This visit I take the soda instead of beer. A minus on the soda drink cause is only one taste SWEET. But still love the brisket, pork ribs… and side dishes plus the environment

On Sunday evening with basically no other customers inside I felt I was being served just because they had to. The beer is of course good, but the "service" made me not to go back there again.

  • 4/5 Aline S. 2 years ago on Google
The ribs were really amazing, potato salad and fried pickles were delicious too. The sauces were super tasty. Cabbage salad was nothing special. The Warpigs sodas were a little bland/watered down. The place was pretty crowded, atmosphere was friendly, fun and informal, with long tables and benches and loud rock music. Not a fan of having to go in line for a long time to order food (and a seperate line for drinks). But great experience, would be happy to go back. Fantastic place to have a drink with friends and eat lots of meat.

Amazing beef ribs. Sadly, I discovered one rib wasn’t enough, and three too much. I’ll need to go into hibernation to solve this issue. Go big. Order that largest they have. You won’t regret.

Great food: BBQ like you'd get somewhere like Texas. Mac and cheese had a slight kick to it adding depth to the flavor. Also the beers were great. Varieties you don't typically find in Europe

A real taste of the southern USA in CPH. On pair with a similar joint we went to in Dallas, Texas. A little out of the way but worth every step. The pecan pie was out of this world 🙏

Great selection of beers, I’d honestly expect a bit better from food… brisket very good, pulled pork pretty dry. Both of them served cold. Best thing was beans!

If you love meat then this is the place to be! Spareribs, pulled pork, chiken wings served with coleslaw, macaroni-cheese and many more...all in authentic Texan bbq style. Very casual place perfect for family or friends. They serve more than 20 fresh beers on tap! Worth to try when you are in Copenhagen and if you are looking for alternatives way for lunch or dinner other than in Nyhavn. Enjoy!!!!!

Everyone is selling NEIPAs now, but this place has a clear IPA that is delicious (Three Hearted)! Plenty of available space on an early Tuesday afternoon. BBQ smelled great, but I didn't try it.

Had little expectation but loved the laid back and friendly atmosphere especially outside at the tables. Amazing selection of fantastic brews that even my wife enjoyed (not usually a beer drinker) . The food is very simply PIG! With a few things like coleslaw and potato salad but was excellent all the same. Highly recommended for the Beer Minkeys out there and for those more adventurous punters.

What an amazing place! Went from Malmö to Copenhagen just to eat here and we were not disappointed! Probably one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever eaten and I've been around the world! The meat just melts in your mouth. I warmly recommend this place!

Great vibe (amazing buzz and atmosphere)! We got way too much food and I guess protein really fills you up! All the beef dishes were dry. At the price, a beef rib should not be super dry 😢. Pork was good, well prepared. The sides were very good but the "snacks" are which is wings, nachos (our plan for the vegetarian in the group, and a couple other things were not being sold. Beers are good!

Fun atmosphere and a real sense of that people from offices nearby and other restaurants in the area treat Warpigs as their local. GREAT beer selection, obviously and I love the self serve soda machine. Great BBQ (especially the ribs) but it’s an expensive place for lunch and I think the sides let the meal down a bit (I had the potato salad and Mac & cheese, which was watery).

  • 5/5 Carlos G. 1 year ago on Google
The meat is the one that does it for me. The brisket and the pull pork. Plus, every single Warpigs' beer I tried was amazing. I loved it so much I came back before my flight back home. The staff was very helpful... some of them.

Nice beers, lots of outdoor and indoor tables. But no vegan food. There is some baked beans marked as vegetarian, but I won’t bet it doesn’t have lard in it. The entry and the bathroom seems to be very accessible.

The food is just amazing. Pork meat at it's finest. Tender and Juicy. I had The Trooper Tray and an extra of Brisket. I specially reccomend the brisket though as it is the best I ever had. Their service is good and the ambience in the meat district gives you a rustic industrial atmosphere. The price is pretty high, but so is the quality.
