Had a fantastic experience here. Was quickly welcomed by a friendly waiter and showed to a comfortable sofa in a dimly lit living room styled room. Atmosphere was very relaxing and nicely furnished / designed. I took a whiskey sour which came quickly and was very tasty. Would highly recommend if you want great cocktails in Copenhagen! This place had the feeling of a high class cocktail bar.

It's a nice cocktail bar i a central area of Copenhagen. The cocktails we had were pretty good. I thought the service was nice too. I've been to a lot of similar cocktail bars around the world, and I would say that when you look at the pricing in relation to service and cocktail quality it might not be comparable to some of the other 5 star places. It does however seem to be a nice place to hang if you've got the wallet for it. The interior is nicely decorated and the staff seem to have fun together.

These are very good and special drinks that can not be found anywhere else. Tastes good and unique. The price is 120DKK per drink. They are not very large, but they are well served. Complimentary water and good service from the staff who are welcoming and very grounded in behaviour.

Such an interesting place to be. There's no sign or anything else to describe the place outside the door. You feel like you're just entering a cave. Very cozy and warm environment and very unique and delightful cocktails. I suggest you to give it a chance ✨

By far the best bar we visited in Copenhagen. Fantastic place to go for a late night cosy cocktail with excellent ambience. Particularly impressed by the service - friendly, knowledgeable and overall excellent. No wonder at all that it won best bar in Denmark!

Solid cocktails in a cosy semi underground bar that also comes with comfortable leather couches- perfect for long conversations with friends over a couple of tipples. The service is also excellent - with the bartenders happy to replace any drink you’re not happy with

This place has an awesome vibe. Very calming and the mood lighting only helps. The the mixologist bonnie was super nice and very attentive. Can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely come back here again.

Had a nice cocktail here before dinner. The bar has a nice atmosphere and the bartenders were very nice and helpful. I would recommend it for a date or with friends.

I loved the "Half a Compass" "Coffee meets vermouth and fruity Apple Jack in a mouthfilling, slightly bitter and yet spirit forward cocktail with a hint of acidity." Also pretty good was "Bigorinho Fresh and fruity cachaca is stirred with two types of sherry and a wee bit of maple sirup. Tastes just like a rum warehouse smells!"

I came over because of the high rating. It impressed me immediately after I entered the bar. There’s such an intimate atmosphere. I ordered an old fashioned and the unusual salted glass edge made the drink taste even more amazing. I would give it 6 stars if I am allowed

We came on a weekday for cocktails after work. I actually have never been to duck and cover, and it was a huge surprise! The place is amazing: *Amazing cocktails. *Super helpful and polite staff. *Excellent aesthetics and plenty of space. I definitely recommend it and I am returning soon.

Unique, supreme cocktails in an intimate setting. I would give it 6 stars. Cocktail menu is like no other and they are all wonderful.

For cocktails, don't even bother going to any other bar around. There's a reason this bar has won all the awards it has. Inventive and well executed drinks. Extremely knowledgeable staff, Sebastian is one of the best in the country. Space is homey, spacious, and intimate. As always, remember everyone has off days, check your bias, and consider other palates.

Duck and Cover (Copenhagen) Visit Date: May 27, 2023 Awesome hospitality and top notch mixology. The bar team truly made me feel welcome and almost like a regular even though it was my first visit to their establishment (and in fact my first trip to Copenhagen)! Drinks are well balanced and extremely well thought out, using unique regional ingredients that you might not ever have tasted if you’re from another part of the world. It certainly was my first experience with bog myrtle - they do an awesome sour style cocktail based on it, and even offered a taster of the snaps (liqueur) it makes. The bar team is globally experienced, and really knowledgeable. They’ll tell you more about the drinks and the mixology scene if you want, or they’ll hang out and chat about anything else. Extremely solid service - this is a strongly recommended visit in Copenhagen!

Fantastic little hidden Cocktail gem 💎 found through recommendation from the waiter at our restaurant. If you are curious about the Scandinavian akvavit tradition mixed with various drinks, or cocktail 🍸 thirsty, this is the place to visit.

Cosy little living room. Creative and tasty cocktails on the menu, enough variation for a good evening. Staff was a bit uninspired.

Cute little spot with unique mixed cocktails. The bartender was very kind and knowledgeable and made me an off menu drink based off my preferences. It's not like a speak easy back home in the US where they have crazy glasses, flaming or bubbling drinks, but the cocktails are delicious, and the atmosphere is open yet cozy. A perfect spot for conversation and a drink before dinner.

The drinks are great and unique. The menu was catered to Christmas season, so I assume they change their drinks seasonally, which makes it more interesting. The ambience is very cozy, felt like we were in a house party. Great location for intimate drinks and chat with your friends and loved ones.

Amazing cocktails, amazing vibe. Many of the cocktails are inspired by seasonal ingredients, which leads to an amazing flavour. Special shout out to bartender Oskar who has been great, recommending us drinks based on what we like. It’s like Copenhagen Bling. 🤩

I had 2 very refreshing cocktails and interestingly my favourite was aquavit. Aquavit is a drink made from potatoes or grains, flavoured with aromatic herbs, and containing 42-45% alcohol, produced since the 15th century in Scandinavian countries. Something that ruins your taste buds when drunk on its own, and gets better when you drink it in a cocktail. Make sure to come here and chat with Bonnie, the bartender who is very friendly. Her cocktail suggestions hit exactly right on target:-)

This is a great modern classic cocktail bar. Drinks are well balanced and use new world and Danish ingredients. The space brings the hygge with nice chairs and sofas with soft lighting and good tunes. The bartender (Nicholas) was super friendly and knowledgeable of his craft.

Nice and cosy place, with some of the best drinks I have had in a long time. Was also really impressed with the fact that the bartender could seemingly come up with an endless list of new things to taste.
