I was recommended this restaurant in Copenhagen by a friend. It did not disappoint. I went for a 19:30 dinner reservation on a Monday evening. It was very busy and we were seated immediately. The service was excellent and quick. I had still water and bread for the table. We had a main each, a glass of wine and a draught beer. All round authentic French cuisine with a lovely warm atmosphere of people talking, music not too loud. Definitely recommend this place. Total bill was 578 dkk about £72. Excellent value for quality food and typical prices for Copenhagen.

The restaurant exuded a charming atmosphere, setting the stage for a cozy and enjoyable evening. The service at Les Trois Cochons was truly exceptional. The staff were attentive, courteous, and went out of their way to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate preferences was commendable and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. As for the food, it was undeniably good, though there was room for improvement. We went for the family menu. While the dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, they fell just shy of reaching their full potential. The flavors were tantalizing, yet I couldn't help but feel that they could have been elevated further. The ambiance of the restaurant played a significant role in enhancing the overall experience. The tasteful decor and subdued lighting created an intimate and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a leisurely dinner. All in all, my visit to Les Trois Cochons was a positive one. The combination of excellent service, a welcoming ambiance, and flavorful cuisine makes this restaurant a notable choice for an evening out. While there is slight room for improvement in the culinary department, the overall experience left a favorable impression. I would certainly consider revisiting in the future to see how they continue to refine their offerings

Went here several months ago, still thinking about the omelette I had. The best one so far. Every time I eat an omelette, I compare it to this one

Indulged in the "Family Style Menu" at "Les Trois Cochons" and it was a gastronomic delight! From the exquisite Tart with baked tomatoes to the heavenly Baba au rhum, each dish was a masterpiece. The service was exceptional, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The balance of flavors, the attentive service, and the comfortable ambiance make "Les Trois Cochons" a true French gem in Copenhagen. Already looking forward to the next visit!

The food was pretty good when ordering some of the more 'advanced' lunch options like a croque madam. The avocado toast wasnt as nice. Super hygge vibe and kind staff, although there aren't enough of them.

Vegetarians like us won’t be happy in that restaurant, as there was none vegetarian menu or main dish. We had to order a lot of appetizers as the portions were way too small (for that price)! The Desert und service was excellent

Great tasting food, was so excited that I even forgot to take pictures! Nice chill atmosphere, you could easily spend few hours here slowly enjoying your food. For the quality, it’s quite reasonably priced as well.

Loved the chicken supreme. Very good food and friendly staff. And they had delicious gluten free bread so I could enjoy olives and bread in the beginning with my husband. Merci!

Although my friends enjoyed a lot, I had difficulty with the platter because I am vegetarian and I didnt get many options here. I tried fries and caramalised onion tartare which was okay. Fries was my saviour 😅 The ambience is definitely great. I also found it expensive.

We ordered the sharing menu and really got our money’s worth! We got a lot of food, so much we we’re very full by the end. The asparagus and the dessert were the highlight of the dinner! If we had to give a point of critique it would be that they weren’t very good at clearing the table, because we had a sharing menu there were lots of plates on the table. They usually brought the next course without clearing the previous one, thus caused a bit of chaos. Overall very nice experience, I do recommend!

My family of 20 people are traveling from the states and plan to eat here next week. Thus far, they have been an absolute pleasure to work with on setting up our reservation. The food looks fabulous and we can’t wait to eat here! Will post pictures soon! Quick update, the food was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Best steak I've had in a long time and delicious fries. Would need to return before I'd give it a 5 but it was lovely

The “Plateau de fruits de mer” - a classic at LTC - was as always wonderful, and this authentic place holds a special star at the cosy Vaernedamsvej neighbourhood

Seating was cozy and the service was excellent! Picked the family menu and had several great appetizers, with a pork main dish and a raspberry tart for dessert.

We only taste the seafood platter so our opinion is obviously for this specific dish. It was bad, elements of the platter has been frozen so it was spongy, lobster was fresh but overcooked, shrimps very tiny and full of eggs. It is a cheap seafood platter (we understand why now) but better to pay more and have a quality one.

My girlfriend and I had a great brunch experience in this place. Great service and cozy atmosphere. I had the Eggs Royal and that I would recommend. We shared the waffles too and paid a total of DKK 420,-. The only minus was the portion size as those were in the smaller end of the spectrum. But it was truly delicious.

This is truly such a beautiful restaurant. So detailed, yet very cozy. We came here for lunch and really enjoyed our food.

The food and service is fine, but considering how much effort the airline industry is spending on making food taste of anything in noisy environments, I am baffled about how anyone can find the acoustics at this place acceptable. Looking at the reviews it seems I am not the only one with this concern...

We went here for brunch. The place was very busy but the service was still on point. My eggs benedict was great and so was my husband's pancake with that divine chocolate sauce. It's a great place :) We will come back.

This is a busy place, but, the team are on top of it all. We were seated at the bar to view all the delights. Great food. Great wine.

Always a favorite for a high quality meal at a reasonable price. We went one of the first weekends after Covid restrictions were lifted - and I am grateful that they are still serving lovely food at a good price. I always recommend going with their Family Style Menu, as it has a good variety and you leave well-fed. The highlights for me was the grilled veal main, which was perfectly cooked and the sides complemented the meat as it should. They asparagus in particular was a welcome fresh element to a dish that could easily have been too heavy. The other highlight were the Tarte Flambée and Vegetables Crudité starters. The two gave a perfect savory and fresh start to the meal and left us excited about the dishes to come. The service was friendly, quick and kind and we left smiling ear to ear!

Nice brunch... Maybe I was expecting a better mimosa. But food and service were 5 points

Nicely located French style bistro. Well portioned, tasty and just enough to choose from. Nice street to sit outside but the interior is worth a view. Do visit:)

Delicious French styled bistro with a fashionable and hip atmosphere. We had the menu, it was fantastic and we ended up properly stuffed. Cofoco collective, you did it again, thank you!

Great casual dinner spot. Atmosphere and mussels were highlights. 👍

  • 4/5 Kai M. 2 years ago on Google
Good food but the menu is a little confusing as it's divided by meat and fish rather than starters/mains or small/big plates with no indication as to portion size other than the price. Good experience overall though.

Came here to try the seafood platter. Unfortunately, not everything originally in the platter was available. But the server was very kind to have alternative. The seafood was fresh and tasty. The bread and butter was nice as well.

Cozy and relaxed environment. We went with my friend to have a casual but at the same time special weekday dinner and we enjoyed it very much. The dishes were delicious and the staff’s suggestions were spot on! We would love to come back and taste other dishes. Thank u!

Location is buzzing and cool! We sat down in the basement. A bit stuffy but still nice. The set menu was super tasty an still light with excellent dishes! Will be back for the chicken and vegetarian dishes.

We were celebrating a birthday and the purchase if a fab guitar. My partner ordered a burger which he throughly enjoyed and I, being gluten free, ordered a chicken open sandwich which was so enjoyable I forgot to take a picture. The desert was huge, certainly, creme brule, big enough for two. My partner happily picked into it even though he initially said no thanks. ;) I was also really impressed with the service which was timely and friendly without being 'in your face'. Such a lovely experience, we will ve back next time we're in Copenhagen.

Friendly staff who worked diligently throughout my visit, tasty food, but after finishing I had to wait longer than expected to catch a staff member's attention to receive the bill. Nonetheless would recommend.

Nice place, it is just not my style but the service was good and the food had a really good flavor. Style of the building is old and give the impression of dirty, but I know it is not

Cute place, loved the christmas decorations. Food was really good (85 EUR for 4 persons breakfast) however normal pricing for denmark. Would recommend.

Tasting menu was incredible, even pleased the pickiest eater in our party. Nice mix of dishes and good selection of wine for a very reasonable price. Keen to come back to try the moules frites. Only minor issue that keeps it from 5 stars is that the seating arrangement was a little cramped and the inside of the restaurant was uncomfortably hot (though it was 28C outside)

Really nice restaurant, vibrant crowd and excellent food & service! We will pass on a recommendation for all our friends when visiting Copenhagen!
