Looooove it The arrangement of the animals cage is amazingly designed When we could not see the lions we thought they just hide in the back and it’s too bad we can’t see them but nooo there’s an indoor side in the back where we could see them so easily and they do have little babies 😍🥹! The polar bears 🐻‍❄️ are extremely fun to watch! I can literally set hours watching them jump and play

Really nice and compact zoo. Lots of fun kids activities and shows. Very pleasant staff, and quite a few food options. Overall a very good experience, I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Aalborg.

Da wir gerne in Zoos gehen, konnten wir uns den Aalborg Zoo bei unserem letzten Urlaub nicht entgehen lassen. Ein großer Pluspunkt für uns war, dass wir unseren Hund mitnehmen durften, was in vielen Zoos nicht erlaubt ist. Wer die Möglichkeit hat, während der Weihnachtszeit dort vorbeizuschauen, sollte dies unbedingt tun. Der Zoo ist mit viel Liebe und Aufwand weihnachtlich geschmückt worden. Wir waren zwar tagsüber da, die Lichter waren aber trotzdem an und man konnte sich das Leuchten im Dunkeln gut vorstellen. Auch sonst sah es im Zoo sehr gemütlich und einladend aus. Die meisten Tiere haben einen für Zoos angemessenen Bereich, wobei sicherlich oft mehr möglich wäre. Am besten gefallen hat uns das Südamerika-Tropenhaus, wo man den Tieren wirklich nah kommen konnte und selbst das eher träge Faultier schnell am Seil unterwegs war. Direkt vor dem Zoo gibt es eine begrenzte Anzahl von Parkplätzen, auf denen man bis zu 5 Stunden kostenlos parken kann. Im Winter waren hier genügend freie Plätze vorhanden. Im Sommer könnte ich mir vorstellen, wird es schnell eng. Wir haben 2,5 bis 3 Stunden für unseren Rundgang benötigt. Wer ebenfalls gerne in Zoos geht, sollte sich diesen nicht entgehen lassen.

Great zoo with fun atmosphere and very informative texts for every animal they have. And sometimes, zookeepers will take time to talk with you in depth about the animals and their usual behaviour. Also, bonus point to let the pregnant lion be closed off to the public, so as to avoid causing any stress to it.

Aalborg Zoo is home to approximately 2300 animals divide into 125 different species. You get a lot wiser on them here. Nature conservation is the focal point of all work at Aalborg Zoo, it is a very central core value. In Aalborg Zoo you can have a party in a completely unique setting, regardless of whether you are five or a hundred years old, need to get married or confirmed.

Nice place to spend with you family or friends. The animals look well care and there is a lot of space for them. There are good variety of animals and regions, so it is possible to see animals from all over the world. There is also place for kids and adults, so everyone have fun. Highly recommended

We visited here during the discount period, and actually happy that we visited! It's a lovely not too big zoo and well kept. We really liked the food aswell, and the guy at the food counter was so happy haha! We had a day well spend! Thanks so much!

Was a great day at the Aalborg Zoo. Even though it was off season and very empty there was a lot to see if you just want a quiet day showing the baby the animals. Feeding time was up close and quite exciting at times. :)

Schon dss zweite Mal hier. Dieses Mal einige Fütterungszeiten zufällig mitbekommen. Es war sehr leer. Keine Eile. Viele Lebensmittelläden haben zu, das Café leider auch schon wieder. Der Eintritt ist enorm. Aber dafür wird auch viel renoviert und gemacht. Das Halloweenthema gerade ist süß gemacht. Die Tigerbabys sind leider nicht nehr da, aber dafür Löwenbabys.

It was a wonderful experience to be able to visit the zoo with our dog! They must of course go always on-leash, and some areas are off-limits (like the tigers/lions area and children playground) but it's great to be able to spend a nice day with them. You can see several families walking around with their dogs. Inside the zoo there are several "dog bars" where they can drink water. The zoo itself is nice, the animals look well kept and clean (it's not depressing as other zoos we've visited). Adult tickets cost DKK 210 in the summer, DKK 125 for children (3-11 y/o), and students can get a discount and pay DKK 168. During winter it costs DKK 190 for adults, DKK 105 children and DKK 152 for students. If you go by car you can park nearby for free; otherwise you can get there easily by bike or bus. You can also buy food inside but there are not so many options, mainly pizza and burgers, but there's also the option to bring your own food and grill it there for free (this is not available on winter).

Toller Zoo auch wenn ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Auch hier merkt man wie kinderfreundlich Dänemark ist. So viele tolle Spielplätze. Das Essen im Restaurant war lecker.

Much better than other zoos. At the entrance, information about when the animals are fed. You can buy a discounted ticket online. Convenient location of animals. Many toilets and food establishments. It is very convenient with children and they even allow dogs to come. Liked very much.

A place with interesting tourist infrastructure, a lot of places for barbecues, to eat, to relax. Unfortunately, on Friday after 4 pm, life dies there. Interesting small dinosaur park. However, doubts are raised by the conditions for animals that seem sad and neglected, especially elephants, big cats, polar bear.

Ein sehr schöner Zoo. Die Tiere haben tolle und große Anlagen. Das gesamte Areal ist sehr gepflegt. Für den Besuch sollte man gerne 4-5 Stunden einplanen, wenn man in Ruhe alles sehen möchte. In der Nebensaison sind nicht alle Restaurants/Buden geöffnet.

Wenn auch von der Größe überschaubar, bietet der Zoo in Aalborg doch wirklich viel Abwechslung. Zudem ist dieser hervorragend auf Familien eingestellt. Es gibt z.B. zentral gelegen einen schönen großen Spielplatz und direkt daneben einen Grillplatz an dem auf stationären Grills mitgebrachtes gegrillt werden kann. Dazwischen immer wieder kleine Sitzgelegenheiten um zu verweilen und die Tiere in Ruhe beobachten zu können. Gepflegte und gut ausgestattete sanitäre Anlagen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder hierher kommen!

A small yet special zoo with well cared for animals. Good for children with a great playground, as well as food for adults. The bus is easy and convenient.

A very nice zoo. We went on a work day (Monday) so it was absolutely not crowded. Everything is in good condition. We had the opportunity to watch many feedings with lots of explanations (Danish and English). There are interesting ways to watch the animals. Clean toilettes, a great playground and opportunities to eat.

Aalborg zoo is a very nice place for kids and families to hang out and experience animals and their livings. It was specially decorated during Christmas with many lights and decorations. We visited on 24th dec. The visit is free of cost on this day of the year. It stays open until 13:00 on 24th Dec.

Fantastic place, and today we had the privilege of seeing a lionesses with her 5 week old cubs. Fantastic experience

Really nice zoo, well kept, great landscapes, awesome entertainment and lots to discover. Not only for the kids, but take them if you have the chance.

Great place, very nice and well kept Zoo. It’s not very large though and the entrance price is a little steep 225kr.

Many animals, very often really good views on them, good options to see them all, sadly many shops inside were closed during the week. And I think animals in the tropical hall do not have enough space (like Kaiman). But outside the season there are not many visitors, which allows great first row views.

There is a nice place to visit where you can find different animal specimens. For me, the polar bears were the stars, because it was the first time see them.

Great park! A bit confined habitats for some of the animals, but they seem to be well kept! Friendly staff, easy to walk around and nice play areas .

This is a beautiful zoo. A lot of the animals were inside, maybe because it was cold when we were there, but for s lot of them, you can go see them inside. We couldn't because we brought our dog. On the upside - you can bring your dog. 😁

Would recommend to any age. A lot of animals. Helpful staff. Never saw how tigers and lions are feeding. It was terrifying.
