I had my birthday party here last weekend and was so happy with how it went. There is so much character in the decor downstairs which made it a great, fun and cozy place to hang out. The bartender Liz was amazing. She's super cute and was very attentive, and was ready to fill my glass every time it got low. She was very nice to me and all of my friends the entire night. I will definitely be coming back again!

Pretty nice venue, really small in my opinion. The outside back was nice. Still able to hear the music but at a lower volume. At one point Saturday night there was a girl who definitely had too much to drink that kept bothering others outside on the patio. Glad I was sober so I could laugh at her stupidity but someone at the bar should have noticed it as well as all of us who were out there. It was a $10 cover which wasn't bad at all.

One of my favorite local spots.. Always a good time and I love the history and haunted basement. Liz, Nikole, Rachel and the rest behind the bar take the best care of the guests, highly recommend! Especially for karaoke nights!

Drinks are horrible.Bartenders look haggard and freaky. The bartender Liz can also use a class on manners. Rude, overweight and unintelligent.

Attended the "Winter Blues" shindig last night. Awesome staff & great atmosphere. Liz is a blast! Always makes sure the customers are well taken care of and goes out of her way as all the bartenders there do! Can't understand why someone would ever have a bad experience here. It's MOST DEFINITELY not them... I will be coming back for sure!

I recommend this place all the time. It’s one of the few places that have live music, karaoke, open mic, etc everyday of the week. There’s a low key second bar and lounge in the basement with a pool table where you can still hear the music from upstairs . All the bartenders I’ve met there are fast, friendly, and will make you feel like family. They have craft beer on tap and in tall boys, as well as regular domestic and imported, and a full bar.

I visited Katie's last minute. This bar is one of the most entertaining bars with the best bartenders and drinks. Liz from Katie's bar is the best bartender I have met in a while.Whenever you want a fun place to go the music and atmosphere is the best. Ask for Liz

Always a fun time at katies 🎼 with great staff!!! Sometimes a cover charge call and ask ahead of time if that concerns you 😊 If you need the lirr it's right behind the bar!

Great place with an amazing bartender, I believe her name was Liz. So attentive to all of the customers and extremely nice. Once the bar slowed down we had a very pleasant conversation, she is exceptionally intelligent but also easy to talk to.

The owner and staff are phenomenal here. This is the Best sound system I've heard in a long time. World renowned talent in a friendly place.

We have all our parties at Katie’s. Staff is exceptional. Brian always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just the way I want it , right down to the specific music I want played , making our gathering perfect! Reasonably priced and hard working staff!

Cozy bar with a stage where bands rock out! Katie's isn't huge, it's a intimate setting when you're watching live music. This place also has a basement with a speakeasy vibe. The basement also has a bar with cool vintage furniture. It's a great place to just hang out and chill. My only issue is parking is in the back and it seems hidden if you don't pay attention. I also feel parking spaces are limited. Overall it's a good place listen to music upstairs and kick back with your friends downstairs.

So much fun! Great music, delicious and affordable drinks. Karaoke night is always the best.

Great Halloween party at one of Long Island's only haunted bars. Very friendly crowd, attentive bar tenders and chill vibe. Although they didn't advertise it, most patrons wore costumes. O El Amore didn't disappoint. Would definitely go back next year.

Place is great, just saw the Martha Fockers here again last night. Love that it has a nice downstairs area to chill. Only thing I’d change is that they would maybe have little appetizers type food but it’s not the end of the world. Great bar!

Great little cozy music venue. Great sound system . Fri night had a Great, Great STP cover band. MUST check out the downstairs lounge. Very old country style with a 60s feel . Wonderful giant birdcage for a go-go dancer. Go with the right people and share some GOOD old vibes.

One of my favorite bar/live music venues in Suffolk co. Killer sound system and a vintage stage. Making live band visible throughout bar. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great for private parties with separate bar downstairs. Beautiful patio for those fresh air summer nights. Oh yea comes with it’s own certified ghost. When its open, this place is fun to be at. Some decent people work there and the food is good.

Haunted bar, really beautiful wood, friendly staff, and it's very eventful through the week. Was just at Spellcon for the second time and it was a blast! Highly recommend you to go, even if you just want some drinks.
