I was treated by this Dr 4 years ago for 2 months and never again. For the past 3 months they have been committing insurance fraud and charging my insurance for appointments even though I am over 3,000 miles away. When Tricare recouped their payments, they decided to refile the charges as telehealth appointments. The office manager is lying to me and Tricare through this entire process. At this point in the investigation, there is no other explanation besides them actively and knowingly committing fraud.

Helped me with absolutely nothing. I'll spare the 'professionals' here without giving out any names. First therapist I saw, all she talked about was her own personal issues, the session was all about herself. I did not sign up for group therapy. The next therapist I switched to, was absolutely terrible and completely stopped sessions with me out of nowhere after 2 weeks. No warning, nothing.

The location is great, the environment is peaceful and inviting, and the staff are super friendly. The doctor is very compassionate, empathetic, passionate, and definitely knows his stuff. Would very highly recommend.

Edit. I finally got through to them on the phone. The issue was no dropdown menu access to anything but billing. Fixed now! Happy. - This review is not about the perfectly good MEDICAL care but about the amazingly poor communication process in this clinic right now in March 2023. Mind Matters began using Geode Health/Athena's Portal and it's clearly not working well. No one responds to messages or answers the phone. Voice mails are not returned. Hoping someone in the office reads this and understands that the only option when you message a counselor is BILLING. And that's likely why no responses.

I highly recommend Mind Matters Psychiatry. The doctors are wonderful and the office staff is amazing. Mind matters doctors do a great job diagnosing and treating mental health issues. I'm in a much better place because of their services.

Mind Matters has been an excellent place for me. I have been visiting this office for a few years now and I highly recommend it. I started with Britney who has given me her kind undivided attention. She has been with me the longest and has proven to really care during all my highs and lows. I began counseling with Matt and Taylor who were both nice and attentive with our visits. When I come into the office I always receive an energetic welcome from Eleanor, sheā€™s great. The friendly staff help me feel seen and heard which is a really important quality in getting help with my mental health. Dr A listens and has helped me work towards new or alternative solutions in treatment. Grace and Amber helped me with TMS treatments and were such a pleasure to have as my coordinators. Again, I highly recommend coming here and having an open mind in working towards improving your health.

I had Dr. A and he is a nightmare. I just left his office today and he told my mom and I that I need to go to RTC for 3+ months and that he couldn't help me. He never returns phone calls when my dad reached out, one time Dr. A actually hung up on my dad. Every in- person appointment felt rushed and I could never have time to talk to him about how I have been feeling mentally. He always interrupted me when I finally got the opportunity to talk. He prescibed me meds that both my parents and I agree haven't helped in the past. Very rude doctor. I felt he didnt take me seriously because im only 17. I left his office crying today as well as my mom because I feel like I have been failed as a patient.

First off I would like to say that I have no issues with my therapist at this practice, he does a phenomenal job and I wish I could rate him 5 stars independent of this practice. Second, I have been a patient at mind Matters for over three years now, and I had no issues with this practice until they joined with Geode health around two months ago. Since then, billing has become a nightmare where they send information to me instead of the person in my family who manages the billing consistently. I have had to give them the correct contact information no less than three times in the past month and a half, and I suspect Iā€™ll have to do so again in the next few weeks. Additionally the emails they send are supposed to have a link to update your settings for which emails you receive, however attempting to click on this ā€œlinkā€ reveals that they did not actually include one, it is just underlined text in the email. Thankfully they stopped using the program that involved sending patients random mental health screening surveys they claimed were ā€œrequested by therapistsā€ despite my therapist having never once requested me to take one of these screeners through Geode health, but it appears there is still a lot of work to do to get Mind Matters back to a functional business. I sincerely hope that Mind Matters ends their partnership with Geode Health, as since joining together it has become increasingly frustrating and difficult to manage my mental healthcare through their facility, and I canā€™t imagine Iā€™m the only one experiencing frustration over all of this.

Dr. A is an amazing professional. He has accomplished goals in my family that seemed impossible to achieve. He cares very much about his clients, and has compassion when working with those in need of his care. I would highly recommend Dr.A! and I dont write reviews on just anyone. Very nice man! Highly recommend. Hope this helps you if your in need. It is usually at a very critical time when searching for Psychiatrist. Dr. A is worth your time. Hope his help you in your time of need.

I went to Mind Matters for four years and saw Dr Adebogun. Good luck getting through by phone. Good luck getting anyone to email or call you back. They didnā€™t take the time to get to know me. He made alot of mistakes with meds. I find them to be very incompetent and uncaring. No night or weekend service. Look elsewhere.

This is by far, the best treatment Iā€™ve received since moving to this area. Dr. Adebogun has taken the time to call me when I sent a message through the website with a question. I donā€™t know of any other doctors that would take the time to do this. His PAs are also great. They take the time to truly listen and work with you. They talk through your situation to provide the best care, based on your concerns and issues. Many doctors are unwilling to prescribe medication, which might be helpful because they are afraid to do their research and work with the patient. Dr. Adebogun goes above and beyond trying to help the patient find the best solutions for the patientā€™s well being and mental health. I highly recommend him and his organization as a whole. They are a wonderful, caring group!

In my opinion, the staff, doctors, and therapists are always working on your behalf. It always smells clean everytime you walk through the doors giving off a sense of welcoming. The dynamic between Western and Eastern medicine merge in one collective symphony at Mind Matters. Forever thankful to have walked through the partially open doors.

Dr. A and his team are professional and supportive of clients. They are quick to resolve any issues with prescriptions. The new office location has a calm atmosphere, which is a nice break from the day.

Dr. Adebogun is very knowledgeable! Moving from a PCP to seeing him was like night and day. He was able to put me on a regimen that worked for me and he recommended different vitamins and minerals that helped to support my other medications. It was a giant step forward in my care and I am genuinely grateful that I found his practice.

Dr. A is a great doctor!! His office is always so clean and the front staff is so nice. He is very understanding and listens to your concerns. He really understands mental health issues and wants to help. He is very caring and always responds to questions and concerns in a very timely manner. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a mental health doctor because he just gets it! Our minds do matter! He is that one doctor we all search for!!

Dr Adebogun helped me so much overcoming my anxiety. On the first visit he listened to my issues and knew exactly what was needed to help me. The staff are all friendly and the office is very nice as well. I just wish I wouldā€™ve found him sooner.

Very bad experience, I call 3 times because one of the medicine was not cover for the insurance and they never called me back, even for schedule the next appointment. I paid my appointment and two months later came a bill for $259 more because the insurance didnā€™t cover; however they never told me anything. The only they wanted is that I start the ā€œtherapyā€. Thatā€™s it. Still calling them an never heard back. Is sad because is a psychiatristā€¦. Didnā€™t care.

I donā€™t understand doctors!! My son need talk therapy and also medications. The website said as much but this place made me wanting to see a therapist by the time I left there!! The doctor has really bad bedside manners, I paid for 1 hour session but he was done in 20 minutes( it only lasted that long because I had questions), he was rude and wasnā€™t interested in diagnosing my son, he just wanted to talk about himself. I genuinely need help for my son but he did not want to hear the reasons for our visit. He just wanted to write prescriptions and get us out of his office!! Doctor like that are no different from a drug dealers. My son did not understand a word he was saying but he never stop to ask. Very disappointing. After a conversation, when I ask for clarification he claim his counselor will call to schedule appointment for my son but NO ONE called. I wanted to reschedule our second with much reservations left several messages no response. Day of appointment I call spoke to someone there who promised to call to reschedule but to this day no call! This place feels like a big scam!! Doesnā€™t anyone know a good professional pediatric therapist/counselor?

Love!! Streamlined but caring, convenient ways to have visits, quick response time...I could go on and on. I've been with them for at least 2 years and I've had zero issues.

The office is professional and inviting. All the staff are helpful and kind. This has been the best experience I have had with an physiatrist office. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

I have been attending to Dr. A for a while, and he is a phenomenal doctor! He shows that he genuinely cares for each of his clients, and has done great measures to accommodate and take time for his clients accordingly. I highly recommend this doctor to help those who need the proper help.
