My experience for brunch was less than satisfactory, the rolls came out cold and service was also very slow . Would not recommend the fish and grits as both lacked seasoning . Tried the fried collard greens could use a bit more seasoning minus the hot honey was not a fan. The atmosphere was fine however the tower mimosas were definitely not a brut it tasted like a watered down moscato. I would come back maybe for hookah and music but not for the brunch menu .

On 10/22/23, my niece and I had an amazing dining experience here. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and personnel were top tier. Both the DJ and the emcee kept the crowd entertained and engaged throughout our visit. We had the opportunity to meet the manager and he, as well as his staff, were very personable and hospitable. We had such a good time that when we looked up, we had been there for almost 6 hours! We never felt rushed and our waitress checked on us often. It was money and time well spent. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return on my next visit to Dallas.

Man!! This place was amazing. The food was so good and I absolutely loved the live band. The DJ was on point and played a great flow of music. The Mac and cheese wasn't what I needed it to be, but it wasn't horrible. I'm not a savory person when it comes to my grits(yes I put sugar and butter on my grits)but the lamb chops and grits my husband got were PHENOMENAL. My oxtail and rice..... no words, but you won't want to share them. There were a few things that bothered me but overall the experience was great. I'm glad we found this place. Will definitely go back.

Overall, I have good brunch experience. Service was slow. I ordered the oxtail pasta. I wasn’t expecting oxtail spaghetti, nonetheless the oxtails were very delicious. The people in my party has mix thoughts on their food. I came for Sunday brunch. I didn’t get to enjoy the band because I left maybe after the first song, but they were great. The music was nice prior to the band performing as well. I would come back, especially stay and enjoy the band.

First timer. Attended a private event for Breast Cancer Awareness that was held in the lounge on a Wednesday afternoon. The waitresses were attentive, and the drinks were tasty. The food was good. I had the chicken suya wings and jolloff rice. I will definitely return for brunch on the weekend!

The atmosphere at the brunch service was absolutely amazing. The tables were set at just above knee height, and the food selection included traditional chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, as well as oxtails, lamb, and Jollof rice. The highlight of the experience was when the band showed up and the whole place came alive with everyone singing along and line dancing. I am definitely going back for more. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey. However, plastic cups and a water carafe with no ice on the table deducted a star.

The food here is the best West Africa food I have eaten in the US! The Jollof rice perfect, the stew is yummy! The atmosphere is great with Afrobeat songs. The service was also great. The food came fast and the waiter was friendly.

The restaurant is comfortable and nice. You seat yourself upon arrival. I ordered the sampler, which came with beef suya, chicken suya, puff puff, & plantain. The food was good overall, but the chicken suya was very dry. The puff puff was a sweet surprise because it was strawberry dough. Also, they did not give enough beef suya on the platter. The plantain was very good and wasn’t greasy at all. I also had the pineapple mimosa, which was great. The main complaint was that the waitress did not check-in often. She also did not bring the to-go order immediately once it was finished. I had to ask another waitress to check in the to-go order after almost 30+ minutes of waiting after payment. However, the waitresses were very pleasant and worked hard. I plan to come back and try different dishes.
