This was by far the best Italian restaurant we have ever eaten at! From the moment we walked in we had nothing but amazing customer service. Our meal started with warm homemade bread and smooth butter. Then we ate bruschetta that was excellent followed by stuffed mushrooms that melted in our mouths! Our table ordered Tortellini Michael Angelo, chicken Marsala, Veal Jerusalem, and Manicotti. Our salads were fresh and delicious and the meal was fabulous!! Just when we thought we couldn’t eat more we ordered Tiramisu and was again raving about the food!!! The environment of the restaurant was clean, quiet and very nicely decorated. We were catered to by Albert and felt like we were the most important customers there! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Remember to BYOB as they do not sell alcohol :)

I'm not usually a fan of Italian food, but I decided to try this place based on the many positive reviews. I was blown away! Our server Albert was fantastic and made our experience unforgettable. I let him pick my dish and he nailed it with the chicken Jerusalem. The flavors were amazing! I'll be coming back because of the exceptional service provided by Albert.

Delicious Lasagna and Chicken Fettucine Alfredo!! We had great food and services from this restaurant. Will return next time for Italian food. It's not easy to find a great Italian Restaurant which serve original Italian taste.

What a disappointment. I used the Google star ratings and was excited for a stellar dining experience. Not even close. By looks alone, it's very cliché, a very overdone Italian theme. The service was the only bright star. Both the host and wait staff were courteous and willing to explain the dishes etc. But the food... It was edible, but barely. The salad course was serverd with a dressing called tomato basil vinaigrette. It was the equivalent of cocktail sauce on a bed of lettuce. My main dish was chicken piccata. The chicken was overcooked and the overall dish very salty. My table mate's dish was a chicken dish with what we thought were canned artichokes and mushrooms. There was no sense that the ingredients were fresh.

I had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant! The service was exceptional, and the surprise magic show by Nick added a unique touch to the evening. The food was outstanding; I ordered the rigatoni a la vodka and shrimp alfredo. The a la vodka was my favorite, and the calamari in marinara sauce was simply amazing. The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, and I can't wait to return for another memorable meal.

Good spot for Italian that usually hits the mark. The restaurant is small and cozy, and kept pretty clean. The staff is friendly and quick, but sometimes seems stretched thin for their tables. The dishes, while not always the most aesthetically appealing, definitely have some flavor. The house dressing on the salad felt just a little too close to cocktail sauce for my taste, but was still enjoyable. The eggplant parmesan is absolutely smothered in marinara sauce, but cooked well enough that the eggplant still stands out.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary here and it was a very memorable evening. The service and food were top notch. We enjoyed Daniel who kept up with our big groups needs and our food server Nico ( I believe) was great too. He ended our meal with some magic and we were all full and happy! I highly recommend this place.

I wanted to try this place, but it was literally packed to the rafters. Not a seat inside. However the patio was completely empty because the winds were blowing in about 40 miles an hour. I’m glad I stayed. In spite of the wind the food was absolutely excellent. The rigatoni with vodka sauce was perfectly done. The lamb chops were amazing… Delicious, lean, and not gamy. The bread was truly fantastic as well. I cannot wait for a return visit.

Food is phenomenal!! Marinara sauce is out of this world. You are in for a true treat if Nick entertains you with a magic show. Came here for my birthday, they went out of this way to make me feel special. Café Italia is a magical place and we will be back soon 🤍

Excellent experience planning and hosting a private party (32 people) at Cafe Italia in Grapevine, TX on Ira E. Wds, zip code 76051. The manager and staff were so nice and very helpful throughout the planning and my numerous phone calls. The food was superb and plentiful as evidenced by the many compliments from guests. People with specific food allergies/needs were accommodated. We were not rushed at all and were privileged to witness a spontaneous and fascinating magic show at the end of our meal. Truly a memorable evening thanks to the wonderful staff at Cafe Italia. Highly recommend! Side note:  Even a few people who are not particularly fond of Italian food were very happy with the variety of menu items and "loved" their meals!

With a group of 16 they did an excellent job! Loved the magic show. Food was delicious, especially the “special” sea bass!

Awesome food! It's a bit of a downer that it's BYOB. The staff is awesome, we were there as part of a big corporate group but they treated everyone great. The food came out fast. We had the bruschetta, mozzarella sticks, calamari and I believe crab-stuffed mushrooms, all very good. They have vegetarian dishes as we had a few vegetarians with us. Or was nice to give business to a local place over a chain, for this experience.

Had dinner on the patio at sunset when the weather was nice. Chose this spot on a whim and so glad we did. We chose the stuffed mushrooms based on other reviews and they were amazing! The sauce was so great we dipped our bread in it. Then I got the tortellini Michael Angelo and my husband got the tortellini vodka. Both were divine. We were the only ones seated outdoors but they were so nice to accommodate with an a tasting of crustinis due to a delay of being served. The wait staff's etiquette and follow up were very impressive. I live 30 minutes away but will most definitely be coming back.

The ambiance and service was pretty damn good. The wait staff were hustlers and top notch. The food was tremendous and every person in my seven person party said their food was incredible. No eye rolls or slow rolling extra like bread and water. I will be back Cafe Italia! I will be back!

The food was absolutely spectacular, and we finished our meal with an awesome magic show done by Nick! I am not joking, this was not gimmicky at all, and our entire table was blown away! I’m super pumped to bring my friends when they are in town to enjoy a great meal and an awesome magic show!

We were in Grapevine for Meow Wolf and decided to stop by Cafe Italia for dinner because it was rated the best restaurant in Grapevine and one of the best in Texas. We walked in and saw a lot of well dressed people and a beautiful atmosphere and worried we were underdressed. But the staff was extremely welcoming and treated us like royalty! The service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. I got the balsamic chicken and my husband the shrimp Alfredo. The server was very accommodating when our daughter was picky and didn’t want regular spaghetti; they offered her spaghetti noodles with butter and/or Parmesan cheese. We also got the mozzarella sticks and chocolate mousse cake. It was all very impressive in flavor and appearance. Then, on our way out, we were treated to a table side magic show that absolutely BLEW our minds!!! It was an unforgettable experience and we will definitely be back!

The pasta dish was delicious and tasty. The vibe was very nice. I would come back and make this my go to Italian restaurant in grapevine.

OhmyGOODNESS!! I’m in town for a conference at the Gaylord, but went rogue and decided to find some place uniquely Grapevine for dinner. Cafe Italia caught my eye as a quaint little space so I popped in… And I’m so very glad I did!! House tomato basil vinaigrette on the salad = YUM #1! Tortellini Michael Angelo - in pink vodka sauce = YUM #2! And the limoncello for dessert??? Oh my heavens! That was YUM #s 3, 4, and 5! So much goodness in such a tiny treasure! Ever so happy I ventured out!!! Highly recommend!!

10/10 experience, will absolutely return for many future meals. Amazing environment and awesome staff, food is beyond delicious, and you just get that at home feeling. Daniel is a great waiter! Extremely professional, didn’t miss a beat with the daily specials, and came by to check on us every 5-10 minutes. Nick’s magic is mind boggling. Like David Blaine level slight of hand and card play. Worth going to eat just for the chance to have him swing by your table to blow your mind.

Our experience at Cafe Italia was so memorable. Daniel was our server and was so friendly and efficient. He’s absolutely awesome. Another waiter named Nick came by our table to perform some Magic. His magic performance was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was wonderful. I will definitely be back. I can guarantee you will love this restaurant as much as we did.

Wonderful staff that made a birthday celebration amazing! The staff were so kind, and so fast with everything we ordered. We even had an AMAZING magic show from Nick, that was completely unexpected and absolutely the highlight of the night. This is my first time at Cafe Italia, and I will be coming back many times in the future! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Love the food! I ordered Veal Marsala and it was perfect. The linguine with clam sauce was good as well. It was our first time dining here so we got to see a magic show and I really like it :)

Amazing Italian food! The owner knew so many people there and came to talk to us after to make sure everything was great. The rigatoni was probably our favorite, and the tortellini Michael Angelo. The lobster ravioli and Caesar salad were also great. We are for sure coming back, I think we found our new favorite Italian restaurant!

My girls and I wanted a girls night out with amazing food. We got dinner AND a show with Nick and his amazing magic show!!! Nick was an amazing server, but he really wins the best server award in my book when he bamboozled us with his amazing magic tricks! Nick was easily the best server I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Thank you, Nick, for such a lovely experience!!

My seafood combo was bland, and the bread was so tough. The chicken marsala did not hit the spot either. You're packed in to a relatively small room with people from nearby tables that have had too much to drink.

Food tasted great but service was terrible! We were seated in a corner which was fine but we were forgotten! Our waiter didn’t tell us about the specials (only knew about them from listening to other waiters) he seemed put out that he had our table, several times I asked for something and he either walked away before I could finished or he just looked annoyed! We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and I told our waiter about it. We were served dessert by someone else and didn’t get any singing or acknowledgement until our bill came, he told us he took off one of the desserts! Great but when 3 other tables had waiter’s singing happy birthday and clapping it made my daughter disappointed! It seems like if you’re not one of the regular customers then they don’t really care about you! The picture is of my husband’s mussels! 5 mussels! Even though it was an appetizer we expected more, especially for the price!

Simply an amazing dining experience in taste, smell, atmosphere, laughter, energy, and authentic Italian vibe. If you are in the mood for good Italian food, then this is the place. But be warned. If you come grumpy or unhappy and do not want your mood changed, then don’t come here. If you do, then the energy and laughter will break that or make you run into a dark corner. The laughter and people make you feel like you are in place with a ton of friends you don’t knows yet with hosts you didn’t know you’ve known your whole life. Simply fantastic. And do NOT skip dessert. Make room for it. You’ll thank me after your first bit.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday date night, and we had the best night. My family and I come here every Christmas Eve as tradition and the staff always makes it so special. Even just on a random weekend we were so happy we chose here! We brought our own favorite bottle of wine, and had the most amazing meal and dessert. Nick, was our server and he was the BEST! So friendly and so fun ( ask him to do MAGIC at the table ). Overall, no matter the occasion this is always my favorite place!!!!!
