This is my Go-To for anything “TEA.” The prices are very fair for the quality of tea you’re getting. I love the most is the huge variety of teas that this place offers, from simple flavors to complex blends. You’ll never run out of options. It’s not only a good shopping experience, but also always a learning experience. Sean is very knowledgeable and can always answer any question you have when it comes to flavor, brewing, etc. 10/10 would recommend.

One of the great tea stores in the country. After moving from London, I used to get my tea from a store in Cambridge, MA until it closed. I was very pleasantly surprised to find The Cultured Cup in my backyard. I haven't attended one of their tastings, but still got great recommendation visiting the store. I've been trying to drink less black tea for years, and they turned me on to specific green teas that are easy transitions.

I’ve been shopping here for 10 years and it has been the best tea shop for high quality teas and tea ware. I stopped by here today and was helped by Shaun. He went above and beyond. He also gift wrapped my items with care and precision since I told him it was a gift for someone. His customer service was top notch. Thank you to the Cultured Cup team that has always been welcoming. They are passionate about sharing their love for tea and it’s authentic. Thanks again, Shaun! You’re a wonderful person.

I recently discovered The Cultured Cup and have officially found my go to loose leaf tea place. The staff are all knowledgeable and super friendly. Though I don't know much about tea, they were more than happy to share with me recommendations and just to chat. The shop is small but carries a huge variety of tea. I want to try them all!

Love this place! I am fairly new to enjoying fine teas but I wanted to find a shop in DFW that stocks interesting loose leaf and this is the spot. The young man who assisted me was very knowledgeable and helped me select four black teas to try at home. I’ve tried two so far and they’re quite nice. The atmosphere is very cozy inside and immaculately clean. Looking forward to returning on a Saturday for their open samplings.

If you want to learn about tea and coffee while sipping and enjoy a cup (or more than one) of an exotic and rare blend this is the place for you. You are going to learn, you are going to taste and you are going to bring at home something, and you'll want to go back after a given time. There is no other place like this anywhere close by (personally think it is a single in world), the owners will always welcome you showing off their love for what they do and what they teach. In a way this is a school and a really good one, most likely you'll meet new people and share this new experience and knowledge with them. Savor each moment and go back just in time for the Saturday tasting selection. I am happily driving 4h from Houston just to stop here every now and then, every moment spent there it is worth it.

Cultured Cup sells tea and coffee~ yes they let you smell everything before you buy🫖 The people who work there are all very willing to teach everyone about tea, which is nice. We expected this to be more cafe style, with tables- but it was in a warehouse district and not much seating. That's the only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5. Edit in response to owner's reply: What you said is totally fair, I can see how categorizing your unique business would be challenging. Maybe we were wrong to expect more seating, however- I think it's an easy mistake for new customers/ first time visitors to make so having a review that gives a friendly 'heads up' is fair as well. In response to your question about wording: I am literally a random person on the Internet. I have no idea why Google made me a 'local guide' or why/if anyone cares what I say. So I would suggest consulting a SEO or Marketing Strategist for advice on that, haha. Still love your tea though! Thanks for replying!

The people in this place are beautiful and the tea, coffee and all the pottery and teapots and gift items, samples, chocolates...only one word...QUALITY! I bought coffee and tea for people that I love and for me...my son loves the White Reisling and was so happy to have his second thermos. He liked the idea of having the beautiful pure mint to add to things...the coffees I bought were praised by their recipients and I am currently enjoying Black Leopard and waiting for the thermometer to rise a bit more...thank you for bringing warmth and joy to our family! I will see you very soon and all the best for the New Year! LOVE, CINDY LOU W.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist you. They know literally everything about teas--from where the particular ones are grown - to pairing them to your palette. They allow you to smell them in order to make your choice. Also, they instruct you on the different flavors to make your purchase easier.

Flavors and varieties exist that I never dreamed and a wonderful tea shop exists in an unexpected place. Apparently on Saturdays, you can experience free tastings.

We attended a class on Wabi Sabi. This is a focus are for the Cultured Cup this year. A fantastic concept of simplicity, acceptance, and too many other things to include here. A great place with fun people.

I'm fairly new to tea. Mostly an english or irish breakfast tea drinker. I explained I was wanting to expand my experiences. The woman (I wish I'd got her name for the review) who helped me was hugely helpful with pointing me to teas I would probably enjoy and providing lots of information on each. So far I've tried 'Morning Moment' and 'The Jenkins Blend.' Both are excellent and so much better than my usual tea bags. If you want quality tea from a friendly and informative crew, this is your place. I look forward to visiting again.

Just received my online order and I am so glad I didn't wait to place it. Shipped fast and man is the tea tasty! That Cream Oolong is a perfect sip for that 3 pm slump. Quality tea! (No pun intended). New to pouring tea a traditional way so a few leaves escape me via the gongfu method. Looking forward to having a week day date tea tasting their fab flavors and variety.

Google prompted me for a review so here it is (I'm surprised I haven't left one already!) Had a lovely time today sampling Pu'er teas and chatting with the folks at Cultured Cup. I also picked up a selection of delicious Japanese Green teas, and a new Gaiwan tea pot. If you are a tea lover and you aren't a customer here yet, please do stop by! It's a wonderful shop run by a fantastic group of people. I highly recommend visiting on a Saturday, when they offer a selection of tea and coffee to sample.

David provided essentially a one-on-one tea lesson, patiently explaining the variations of tea from white to Earl Gray. I was able to enjoy the fragrance of each type of tea as he covered the how oxygen impacts the tea. Never would I have imagined choosing a white tea, but I learned it is sweeter and lighter because it is less processed. The White Ginger tasted delicious without any added sugar, honestly not how I typically drink tea. Also purchased Wuyi Rock Oolong for its notes of molasses.

Learn the history while sampling a myriad of teas....Kyle is passionate about sharing his knowledge of teas and coffee. The Tasting Room also sells tea pots and suggests food pairings. Check them out on facebook for special events and recipes!

The absolute best shop for coffee, tea and sipping chocolate (and any kind of equipment you might need). I'm so spoiled with their coffee and can't wait for social distancing to be over so we can start weekly tastings and casual drop ins again. Amazingly knowledgeable staff and owners... Feels like family even wearing masks and picking up curbside.
