It is not clearly illustrated where the office even is from the building. I asked the valet, which apparently is free, where the urgent care office was located. He mumbled something that none on nor my girlfriend could make out on exactly which floor the urgent care office was located. We figured it out eventually it’s on the fifth floor. We were the only ones in the waiting room and when we got to the window the receptionist said can you go outside and call the phone number on the front door of the office to make an appointment. I walked 6 feet away outside called number and walked back into the waiting room where the girl and I carried on a conversation while she was behind the desk looking at me through the window. It was something out of a situation comedy. Ridiculous! After a few minutes they took my girlfriend inside to examine her condition. Another receptionist stepped outside in the waiting room as I was the only one in the waiting room and told me the doctor doesn’t like people to wait in the waiting room that are not patients you can go downstairs and wait in your car. I felt the service was one-sided and all about the doctors idiosyncrasies & not so much about the patient’s concerns. I will search out a new urgent care center in an around the Coral Gables area where I just moved to.

Edited because I don't want my initial experience to reflect badly on Dr. Mones. He took time out of his day to text and call me to make sure my covid test could be processed and that I received the care I need. He also gives you his cell phone number so that you can text him. That level of availability and dedication is very rare these days. Staff is more interested in chatting with each other in the hallway that in being professional and helpful to patients. Waited for two hours and never actually got to see a doctor before my meter ran out and I had to go pick up my daughter. All I wanted was a covid test…they let me leave after the test only to call me later to say it can’t be processed without me seeing a doctor. Total waste of time.

The medical care is excellent but the billing department is the worst. I get the bill with an error and even though I call and they say they will fix it, they do nothing and send it wrong again. I will have to go to the consumer protection office and TELEMUNDO RESPONDE to have it appear on television to see if they do a better job. They are totally inept.

Ridiculously poor & slow service, high prices, lack of professionalism, very old/shabby quality. I regret ever stepping foot or spending money & time here! The incompetence is appalling. It’s been an absolute nightmare dealing with this practice & I cannot discourage it enough! Absolutely not. Keep on scrolling please if you value yourself & your sanity.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is courteous, quick, and takes their time for your personal care. I was able to do a walk in with minimal wait time. The receptionists were very kind and the doctor I saw was Vanessa. Not only was she a doctor, but she was also a personal, kind hearted, and uplifting individual. She took her time to make sure she can set up the best care for me. Furthermore, after expressing some personal issues of mine, not only did she advise me medically but she also helped me feel emotionally better and gave me hope. I left there amazed and uplifted from the visit with Vanessa. Thank you so much

This place is disorganized and ghetto. The N.P. came in the room without a mask and then was telling me her daughter has Covid. I won't be back here. They don't have a u sense of urgency here. I saw a black female N.P. who spent more time talking about herself than asking me anything. She was ordering food on her phone.

Dr. Mones and staff are top notch. Highly recommend if you're thinking of going there for your medical needs. Practice Manager Dayanne was helpful and professional as well as prompt in remedying issues.

I called before I went into my appointment and was reassured that they were punctual and on time. I get to my appointment and I waited an hour and 20 minutes before I decided to leave and lose more time. What led to this was the doctor taking in his nephew with no appointment in front of other waiting patients with appointments and another walk-in that missed their appointment hours ago. That’s not fair at all, to add on as well the valet in the building is super unprofessional, for some reason he blocks the exit with a cone….. why would you do that??? When I left he was playing on his phone and I almost got in an accident leaving on the exit because there’s only one open then he looks at me crazy and throws up his hands

For primary care look no further than Dr Mones office. The staff is super kind and professional. Samantha at the front desk, Montsy the tech, Ranya the tech, and Dayanee the Office manager, treat me like family. I’ve never been someone who enjoys going to the doctor, but seeing These people and their Smiles Make going to the doctor, enjoyable. Not only am I well taken care of, but I actually have the opportunity to learn about what’s going on with me through Dr.Mones research website he provided me with. It helps to ease my anxiety about being sick, and prepares me for my next visits. Dr. Mones made me feel extremely welcomed. So thankful to call him my primary Dr now!

I have seen the HEALTHY clinic of Dr. Mones since 10 years ago...he keeps me healthy. My sister recommended me, then my other sister and now my own son is keeping healthy. When Covid came to visit us...I stayed home and went back again. I am home again... Dayanee Ayala, was incorporated as part of the team and things run even better. I have been going to this practice for many years at this point and I have been very pleased with the bedside manner of all the doctors, nurses, and other staff here! Scheduling is always very easy and I love having a doctor’s office that is also an urgent care center. I am able to receive most of my bloodwork there and I can also bring my children in with me if multiple members of the family are ill. We are always treated well and accommodated.

Wow!! What a blessing to have found this place. From the moment we can through the door everyone was very professional and extremely helpful. I am so glad we decided to go here instead of the hospital across the street. Thank you Dyanne for going beyond your duty. I’m already feeling so much better.

wonderful team- did great work with immigration physical for my daughter and helped me through process! RNs were especially kind and patient- able to get my daughters blood work on first try with no tears. The physician was fast and thorough would recommend

Do not go to this place. They do not disclose the fees that they are going to charge until after they performed the services. I went for labs and they had a fee that I was not told about until I was leaving. They have a charge for credit cards which they also did not disclose until I saw my statement. All of the signs are hidden away from where the patient makes the payment

I came for a last minute vaccine before a trip and cannot be happier with the care. Overall very professional and friendly, I will definitely return for any medical need. Thank you!

Edit review: besides the terrible experience that I had today, Dyanne went out of her way to recover what happened. She tried to reach out multiple times while I was traveling and even found a temporary solution to my my problem. I don’t want to allow a bad experience to discourage anybody to use this practice. As I said Dr. Mones and Dr. Brittany are the soul of it and don’t deserve to be penalized because of a “bad apple” Original: 15 year patient of Dr.Mones I have been driving 60 miles each way to see him after moving out of Miami. Today I had a terrible experience over the phone with one of his nurses/office reps that made me decide to unfortunately leave for good. I have been denied a refill of a daily medication because I am not able to get a blood work within 24h due to a business trip that I cannot cancel. Everything good until I was told that I am the problem because I have this work conflict so they cannot do anything for me. When I asked if stopping the medication suddenly for three weeks would have cause any medical issue I was answered “I don’t know. It’s your decision”. Blame a patient for not knowing “the rules” and not being able to drop everything + put someone health in danger because of it, it’s absolutely unacceptable !!!! It is really unfortunate to have to deal with people of this kind who are supposed to “care” but what is most unfortunate is not being treated by Dr. Mones and Dr. Brittany who are the heart and soul of this practice.

Dr. Mones and his PAs are amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable, have great interpersonal skills, and are very patient. No pressure but they have been my go-to doctors spot for many years and my family has too. I have recently moved to another city and I’m struggling trying to find a good practice to replace Dr. Mones and his awesome staff.
