Decent room,floor needed sweeping. Nice to have a fridge in our room. Microwave would have been nice as well. Loving the pool! Coffee was cold every time! Check in clerk was very grumpy spoke very quietly and was hard to understand. He seemed to not want to come up to the counter to speak to us. Loved the landscape!!

At the time of writing this review, I was a box truck driver traveling over the road, so low cost accommodations were essential to my business. This stay was also not long after Hurricane Ian pummeled the area. This hotel was a welcome night of rest. The room was spacious, with a King size bed, full size fridge, and a sofa! 10/10 would stay here again. I rated the service at 3 stars because the guy checking me in was far more concerned with watching "Walker, Texas Ranger" reruns than checking me in, and I had to remind him several times to return both my driver's license and credit card lol.

Right off, the front desk clerk was slow, cranky, and plain rude. When we asked where our room was, he sent us on the wrong side of the hotel. We then entered our room to find we were given a room that had not been cleaned from the last guest. After walking back to the front desk, the clerk gave us a new room. Which was completely dirty. It’s hard to believe that housekeeping is still employed. All the surfaces had residue from whatever the previous guest had put on them. The floors were filthy; I find it hard to believe they were ever swept. The only positive thing to say about our room was the bedding appeared clean, and the AC unit worked well. We definitely will not be returning to waste any more money, and advise others not waste there money.

Is a convenient hotel in town to stay with IHop,Golden Corral, and Publix's within walking distance.. I've been there 6 times visiting Punta Gorda...

Stay away from this place. The pool had only two lounge chairs, both ripped and dirty plus two additional chairs. That’s it. The room had broken towel racks, the bathroom door was broke and would not shut close, the toilet lid was broke, it was obvious the chairs had not been cleaned underneath for a long time. I’m pretty sure there are electrical code violations since there was a outlet box added and not secured to the wall. The bathroom fan has no cover and full of years of dust. The front desk guy was insulted that I asked for a detail receipt and provided a discussed facial look. The manager of these reviews constantly offers apology’s. It is very evident they have no intention to invest improvements or customer service. The room was filthy and there were stains on the walls. Room smelled like smoke and had obvious burns in the bed covering and on one of the arms of a side chair. Took photos of it all.

I wouldn’t give this place even one star. I had to book a room as an emergency. This was one of the only motels available. I booked a king size room online. When I arrived to check in the desk person says “oh no the boss will flip if I put 3 people in a king size room. Mind you they were my children. I had to have my mom come get my youngest. The room looks like it came straight out of a horror film. The floor was so dirty that we had to walk everywhere with shoes on. Other peoples hair all over the place including in the bathroom. Stains on the couches. The door didn’t sit on the floor so there was 1/2 inch open to the outside. Bugs crawled in and out all the time. Both nights there were a group of people gathered outside smoking pot. Stay clear of this place. Spend the extra money to guarantee your safety and cleanliness.

The man at the front desk seemed a bit mean at first, but he’s actually nice once you talk to him a little bit more. But aside from that $100 isn’t worth staying a night at this hotel, It smelled like there was roaches there was dust and spiders in every corner, the bed seemed dirty couldn’t sleep well… toilet was coming off from the wall I was a bit scared it would’ve broke, you can hear everything from the rooms next door and even outside, it was raining really bad but good thing I love rain sounds. There was also someone else’s hair everywhere on the floor, and pillows… and sketchy people too. I’m giving this place 3 stars cause it was the only place that allowed me to check in since I’m not 21+, and needed somewhere to stay to see a loved one.

Cleanliness is a -10 Service is a -10 Disgusting room Worst hotel ever. Rain poored on us in our room and when we asked to switch rooms the owner said pray for better weather.

This place was rough. I would say keep driving if you have a choice. We were exhausted after a red eye and delays and literally couldn't keep driving. The bed was tje smallest bed I've ever slept in a full. The whole place smelled like cigarettes even though it was supposed to be non smoking. It was rough. Woke up to a cockroach in the toilet and shower

This is a great place for you and your family. It’s got a nice clean rooms. But okay service.

Super friendly service and decently spacious room, but I didn't find wifi or any TV channels I've ever heard of before. Room was definitely older but was mostly clean. They also don't have card keys, its a standard key. A throwback experience for sure but a short drive to all the hot spots and 3 breakfast places within walking distance.

The older guy at the front desk was clearly unhappy. I'm a receptionist at the front desk in a dealership so you have to wear a smile and always be nice. The floor in the room turned my feet.black like it has never been mopped. It was nice it had a fridge and microwave but for $156, I would expect a more clean updated place. I've lived in this area 33yrs but would not recommend this place. Thank you

Room was clean easy check in. The problem I have is it seemed like several locals stay here and traffic all hours of the night and the air conditioner stopped blowing cold just cool if that. I pulled out the AC filter and it was really dirty. I had top clean it in the shower. Replaced back then the AC cooled the room down. Just a little preventive maintenance needs to be done

Flight and car got me out airport at 930pm, was told last check in is at 9pm then he kept asking about number of guest. Geez then hands me a key and a big remote control lol Horrible dry wall job, there's holes in some spots. There's bugs. Sheets dirty, room dirty. Not worth 160. I can hear everything that's going on outside because the door is not properly sealed, I did not get a good night's rest here. The only cool part is the Buddha statues outside.

Made a reservation and an hour later we needed to cancel it. Booked through another site, they tried to get us a refund and the property refused, so we are out $130 . I was upset but after reading reviews of this place, I'm glad we didn't stay there. I will make sure I let all my friends know to stay clear of this roach motel. Maybe they can take the money they wouldn't refund me and hire an exterminator and housekeeping. The reviews I've read are terrible. Thanks from a potential customer you will now never see even entertain the idea of staying there.
