Nice modern decor with techno and lounge music. Crowded and loud. The service is ok but should be better for this place level. Food is mediocre at best. At midnight, the staff turned on main lights signaling that it’s time to get out. most nice places don’t kick out their clients on a dot.

Was there for dinner last night (Thursday). Overall, pretty mediocre experience. Service feels rushed and impersonal, which might be caused by the fact that a 20% tip is automatically added to your bill. The food came really fast, with some dishes standing out (the spicy edamame with charred octopus, the black cod gyoza, and the dessert platter). The prawn moneybags, hamachi crudo, peking duck and pepper beef were a little disappointing, and would not order again. Overall OK place, but wouldn’t go out of my way to come again, given the experience and food is below the standard of the Novikov in London.

I was finally able to visit novikov for lunch after years of wanting to go, and was definitely not disappointed. They have a very reasonable three course business lunch menu that includes the Peking duck and everything I tried was delicious. Outside of that menu it can get a little pricey but the duck buns and fried rice are worth it. They also have a good cocktail menu and smaller plates as well. I'll definitely be back.

Outstanding restaurant all the way to the top Start from the entrance it feels good, trendy, perfectly decorated and spacious We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over two years and never been disappointed The food is really good and we almost tried many different dishes and they were all perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared The service is good, fast and professional Except today April 15, 2021 we got the appetizers and almost all at the same time but the Branzino and the duck it took or EVER and I don’t know why!! Anyhow I didn’t want remove one star from the well deserved 5 stars since that was the first time it happened and I like to give another chance and see if this was accidental or just kitchen laziness Overall, one more time my guests and I we enjoyed every plate from the starters to the desserts

To say perfect is an understatement, you have to truly appreciate it how every dish is an experience. I was told there's a 100+ staff working tailoring this unique journey. Thank you Alin for a beautiful VIP & fun service. Thank you management for accommodating our large group. Recommend this place a++++

I had an incredible dining experience at Restaurant Novikov, which expertly combines Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The standout dish for me was the duck, which was nothing short of awesome. The fried rice was excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. We opted for the $199 menu per person, and it was worth every penny for the exceptional quality of food and the overall experience. The fusion of flavors and the high-quality ingredients make Novikov a must-visit restaurant for anyone who appreciates exquisite Asian cuisine.

I recently visited the restaurant and found that it had a pleasant ambiance with enjoyable music. The drinks were decent, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The soup was served cold not just once, but twice. Additionally, the sushi arrived within just 2 minutes of ordering, which made me suspect that it was pre-made and stored in the refrigerator. It was also served very cold. The salads were average at best. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant as the food quality does not match the high prices.

The scenery is beautiful- The staff is great and the vibe is cool. Food was very good. Prices are high drinks are very expensive. So for the money I expected just a little more. But you will not be disappointed. The Peking duck was amazing. The rolls were very fresh.

Lovely establishment. Cuisine is a combination of Japanese & Chinese. Came to celebrate a graduation and everything we ordered was delicious. Make sure you make a reservation and if you’re a big group call upon if you want to be sat all together. Open Table won’t allow you to make a reservation for a bigger party. Cocktails are strong so it’s always a good thing! Huge Wine List variety LOVE IT! Brunch on Sunday’s are my favorite here! Servers are a little slow but atmosphere for a night out is perfect! Parking is better to Valet because good luck on trying to find parking in Downtown Miami area Highly Recommended!

Definitely my favorite restaurant in the city. Upon entering Novikov Miami, you will immediately be transported to a world where modern sophistication meets timeless elegance. The elegant, dimly lit dining room is complemented by a large drinks bar and an open kitchen where highly skilled chefs prepare delicious dishes before your eyes. My favorites are Kobe sushi, caviar, lobster and duck. This modern restaurant is a unique and unforgettable dining experience. The outdoor seating area, surrounded by the bay, adds an extra layer of charm. For a sophisticated evening filled with exquisite sushi and seafood dishes, impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere, this hidden gem is a must-visit. Novikov will remain in your heart as an unforgettable culinary destination.

I've eaten at Novikov twice now over the last couple of years, the best way to describe the food is Asian with a Russian flair. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is electric, and the service is impeccable. This resturant is one of my favorite places to dine within the United States, the experience overall is fantastic!

Very nice place, was not busy on a Sunday night. As soon as we walked in, our server Jose greeted us and asked if it was our first time. Since it was our first time, Jose walked us through the whole menu and recommended all of his favorites and popular menu entres. The food was beyond amazing, everything was cooked to near perfection. Would recommend to try different things, instead of focusing on one dish.

Let me start by this place had a lot of hype from different people & To me personally stayed short and I don’t agree on all the hype. Food & service was good not great as I thought it would be. Kinda let me down a bit. It was a Thursday night and it should have been really popping and it was not. Food was good but not out of this world . So I’m sorry I can’t give 5 stars if I’m not feeling it or tasting it. The wasabi martini 🍸 is very good if you like spices. Must try.

My first time at Novikov was for Dinner. However, I was so impressed but the quality of the food, ambiance, and service… I just had to go again. This time I went for lunch, and decided to try to Miami Spice menu. Novikov is absolutely delicious and can’t wait to stop by again!

For $99 all you can eat and drink brunch in the area - the deal really can’t be beat. If you want to celebrate a special occasion, and don’t want to worry about splitting up the check various ways at the end, their set price brunch is the perfect solution. I ate my fair share of stone crab, sushi and dumplings—way before the hot entrees came out. Will be returning!

Had a reservation for Saturday night. Walked from the Intercontinental Hotel and it was right around the corner. Very busy spot. So glad we had a reservation. We were seated right away and the ambience is very nice. Lots of bright colors inside the wait staff was very friendly, and our specific waitress was very attentive. She made some great suggestions. The food was fantastic! The edamame was very flavorful. The chicken and mushroom eggrolls were absolutely fantastic. The soup was so delicious. The sushi was so fresh and the snapper two ways was just as good. We really enjoyed everything. The lychee martini was fabulous and strong. I would absolutely come back!

Fast service, convenient location, and, most importantly, delicious food. Our table shared a variety of appetizers and entrees, each more delicious than the last. The Crispy Rolls (Chicken & Wild Mushroom and Lobster) are a great way to start the meal, as was the Tiger Shrimp Tempura. For entrees, we went with the skirt steak, Szechuan pepper beef, and honey truffle king crab, and they were all cooked and seasoned perfectly (steak and beef were tender and juicy). It’s not cheap but certainly worth the splurge if you want to treat yourself to a feast on the Bay in Miami.

Wonderful place. The restaurant is nice and beautifully decorated. The menu had great options. The dessert menu was not my favorite but entities we ordered was delicious. The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The cocktails were very good too. I'd definitely go back and recommend. They have a wide variety of fresh seafood.

Certainly, I recommend dining at "Novikov," a restaurant that offers exceptional cuisine and an upscale ambiance. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by a luxurious decor that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Novikov’s menu is a culinary masterpiece, featuring a diverse range of dishes to suit various tastes and preferences. The attention to detail in both presentation and flavor is truly exceptional. The service here is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who can assist you in selecting the perfect wine to complement your meal. From the moment you're seated until your last bite, you'll feel like royalty. If you're seeking a dining experience that combines delectable food and a refined atmosphere, Novikov should be at the top of your list. I recommend making a reservation in advance to secure a table at this culinary gem, as it tends to be in high demand among those in search of an extraordinary dining experience.

It has a wow factor, but food and drink were a hit and miss for me. The service was good. Drink: Tokyo mule not bad, Lychee Martini tasted bitter. Food: favorite: spicy prawns money bag, Wagyu & foie gras gyoza Ok: Spicy salmon, Roasted Duck bao buns Least favorite: Bbq pork ribs, robata citrus Corn ( you can skip it) Dessert: white chocolate ice cream, it was ok. I will go there again.

The service could be better for the cost of a meal there, but the food steals the show! Absolutely delicious and innovative menu.

Michael was the best sever my table has ever had, he was enthusiastic and knew the menu very well. He did all the ordering for us and by far it was an amazing multi course dinner that we all enjoyed very much! Would recommend the octopus, crab roll, half duck, and moneybags, those were some of my favorites! The green martinis were a hit and the brownie treat was so good!Everything we had was delicious cannot go wrong here, ask for Michael and you’ll have a great experience.

My only regret is that I only had time this trip for a quick lunch... and that it was way too hot to sit outside. The Wasabi Martini was insane, and I could have easily had three or four more of these, but I had a boat to pilot right after... The wasabi is more in the background providing a slight umami kick while the yuzu pineapple played the main characters. Cucumber Tataki was not really a tataki, and while demonstrating excellent knife skills, has already been forgotten. Wagyu skewers met expectations, but nothing to write home about. The meal really started to take off with these shrimp and cilantro dim sum dumplings. The crispy duck hit! This would typically be called Peking Duck, and I believe on their dinner menu it is... I can't say enough about this Crispy Peking Duck. The pancakes were like a delicate gossamer. I thought for sure they would fall apart, but somehow had enough substance to hold all the ingredients together for a spectacular couple of bites. The duck itself was perfectly crispy, and everything came together just right. Looking back, I wonder, was I just hungry that day? Because, right now, if I had to choose one dish for the rest of my life on a desert island, well, this crispy duck would be in the top 10. Desserts were also good, although I forgot exactly what it was I had, can't wait to get back here for dinner...

We had our first lunch in Miami at this place, we had nothing but a wonderful time and meal. Our server was nice and extremely polite. However not on top of her game as we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. We tried sashimi, sushi, baby squid, and chicken and mushrooms rolls which had an amazing smell but we were disappointed with the flavor. Everything else was exquisite we couldn't stop eating. Good selection of sake and the cocktail list was pretty good. Amazing place to eat and enjoy the view.

Celebrating my brother in laws birthday and what a place!!! Spacious, awesome view, great service and follow through, excellent suggestions and food was incredible both in taste and presentation. Our sommelier Marlon Toro was the best, he tended to all our wishes and his suggestions of delicacies off the menu were right on. If you’re ever looking for a place in Miami where you will be well fed, have fun, and great ambiance, look no further.

Had a girls dinner and as huge Asian cuisine fan (we have some at least once a week together) the food was good, not great mainly because it was cold and nothing really stood out to us aside from the bok choy which was 10/10. However, Manny was a great server and made the experience enjoyable. Very attentive and personable.

We had high expectations for this place given the reviews. And it looked interesting and whimsical when we entered. But it didn't live up to expectations and we don't plan to return. We had the Miami Spice menu. There were two of us for dinner. They paraded us around the restaurant and we finally stopped at a table for six. It sure wasn't an intimate dinner. Service was fairly prompt but a bit rude. I asked for the Miami Spice menu and the waiter told me to scan the QR code on the printed menu. Of course the Miami Spice menu wasn't online, so he had to bring us paper copies. We ordered cocktails and made our selections for each of the three courses. The cocktails were interesting and good. I liked the pouring at the table for the old fashioned. For first course we had the Thai dumplings and the shrimp bao. The dumplings were good... flavorful, well presented. The bao was really pretty but it lacked flavor and the textures were overwhelming - super soft sticks-to-the-top-of-your-mouth on the bread and super crunchy too much breading on the shrimp. It didn't really taste like anything and the crunch vs softness seemed to compete versus compliment. The shrimp on the bao were so hot that they burned our mouths. For the main course one had the tiger prawns and one had the steak. The steak was good, the best protein of the night. The tiger prawns, served in some carcass, were tasteless, undercooked, and they had a strong smell (were they getting old?). For dessert we had some mix of ice cream, pistachios and a slathering of green stuff. It was a confusing dessert and sadly the best part was the pistachios. The place was very noisy, Service timing was odd. Dishes were served one at a time which caused one of us to wait for the other's dish before we ate a course. We had the same dessert and they came out together. The waiter never seemed happy to be doing his part though he appeared and disappeared at the right times. We are glad we tried Novikov and we appreciated the Miami Spice tasting menu as it let us sample several items. None of the food was compelling enough for us to return particularly given all the fabulous restaurants around.

Wait staff was a bit overwhelmed. Our waiter has tables outside and ours inside. Busboy brought us Evian water, short poured the two glasses, walked away with about a fifth of the bottle, and he never returned with the remaining water or offered us any more water. Ironically the table next to us (another 2 top) had their glasses filled to suit and the balance of the bottle was left on the table. These were small, but noticeable service flaws that management should have picked up on, if this table was important to them. Here's to 25M photo views and counting and the next revisit 🥂

I'm glad I gave this place a chance! The menu is outstanding 👌 including the asian fusion with a hint of local flavors like mango sauce, for example. Out waiter served us in an extraordinary manner, explaining the chef's choices and the background behind every plate. This place is a great option for a romantic dinner or special occasion.

Don't let the name confuse you. If you're looking for Asian cuisine, this place is a must try! It's a 5-star restaurant that'll have you coming back for more. The atmosphere is classy with a sophisticated feel, and the food is incredible!

What an amazing brunch!!! We had brunch this past Sunday at Novikov, when we arrived we were seated right away. Our waitress, Mariana came over and introduced herself, she also explained the menus to us. She was so kind and helpful, she answered all of our questions. We chose the $199 per person menu and it did not disappoint! The crab, sushi, lobster, duck and wagyu was amazing and so flavorful. The drinks were also really good, my favorite was the lychee martini. The service & food was outstanding. I highly recommend this brunch. Thank you to the amazing staff for providing such an amazing brunch experience

Just outstanding. Exceeded expectation, food was fresh, hot, FAST, consistent and sets a high bar. Flavors and freshness as bold as a samurai’s blade. In my history of cooking in New Orleans fine dining, coming to this MUST HAVE in Miami blew me away. Not to mention the staff- professional, punctual, quick, and CARING. Thank you Jan, amazing server, positive, happy, and a warm presence. Not to mention it was his first night as a server, but my perception said he was a seasoned vet. Thanks Luis, very cool GM. Everyone was great. I’ll be back. - Ryan
