5 star hotel with a 5 star experience. This is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Location location!!! In the heart of downtown Miami and close to everything. the hotel is impeccable!! A very busy hotel but it was fine because they are fully staffed. The valet service great, front desk great, rooms are huge and awesome, the beds are comfortable and pillows are big and thick. Not the usual run down caved in pillows you get at other hotels. Juan the bellman so personable and amazing!!! If I had to complain about anything, I would say the hallways are unnecessary cold, like freezing cold and temperature of water seems to be controlled. Because water doesn’t stay hot when taking a shower. And if I’m paying $300 a night I want a hot shower throughout. Casablanca on the bay has delicious food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5 star experience in a great location. You definitely get what you pay for and you get a lot. Yes I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel pool was huge and beautiful, the view and rooms were nice and the hotel had basically a mini mall downstairs!!! We ordered breakfast and lunch from two different restaurants on site and it was delicious! Free cookies were awesome also. Everywhere we went while vacationing was no more than 15 min from hotel, great stay

Location was good, was able to walk to a couple of places. Hotel is beautiful, had a room facing the bay. Service was great as well. We didn't frequent the restaurants in the hotel so unable to comment there. Signage could be a little better and note that this hotel is residential as well. The only negative I had was the cost for valet parking, which is the only option you have if you come with a car. It's approx $50/day. The pool and hot tub, amazing!

The customer experience nearly ruined our stay. Let me start by saying that some of the grievances began with the customer support for diamond members, but the hotel employees didn't make it any better... First issue: my husband called the diamond status line to cancel one of the days that we would be staying there. The rep said he did what we asked but my husband received an email notification that all our days had been canceled. Second issue: Called the diamond preferred number again and the lady didn't understand the issue and hung up on my husband. Third time we called: CS rep apologized for the issue and wanted to make it right. She upgraded us to a junior suite. My husband got an email and saw that we got a double instead of a king. Fourth time we called the hotel and told them what happened. The guy at the front desk scoffed at my husband and called him a liar when my husband told him that we were upgraded. He did this without even looking at the account. And by this time, my husband was highly frustrated and the front desk guy hung up on him after my husband expressed his frustration. Fifth time, we called Diamond number again and spoke to a manager. He ended up changing us to a Junior suite with a king bed and issued us a credit for the points we used. Sixth issue. My husband was trying to surprise me Since it was our anniversary. He had a box with four dozen roses sent to the hotel and asked them to set it up in the room so that when I walked in, I would be surprised. The hotel said they would accommodate. Luckily, my husband asked some friends to keep me busy while he went to check in. And when he did, the roses were not set up like he had asked. So all in all, it could've been a great stay. Rooms were clean. View of the bay was nice. And the hotel had an entire retail area. But the employees are there to do the bare minimum and could care less about their customers.

Their room service food was amazing! I ordered a simple burger and fries meal and got a scrumptious delight!

Extremely disappointed by the dirty, humid conditions of our hotel room. Nothing about the overpriced 3 bedroom suite was luxurious- they cut corners on everything! The paint was splotchy and uneven, every vent and outlet was dirty, there’s a random old alarm keypad with a missing faceplate on the wall, the tables are old and stained, the bed sheets were dirty, the bottom of the bath tub is chipped… it’s really just a cheap motel room being sold at resort room prices. Will never stay here again.

Stayed here for a weekend & was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. This hotel has cockroaches!!!!! So many of them were in our room. They switched our room to another one where the AC wasn’t working. Kept asking for someone to come fix it and no one ever came. Got switched again to another room. Stayed there Thursday to Sunday and got switched 3 times to rooms that were all filthy. This is completely unacceptable especially during covid times u would think that cleanliness is taken seriously but I guess not. All I was offered for the inconvenience was 50% off 1 night. The staff didn’t seem to care when I complained. My family stayed at the same hotel and they also had issues with their rooms and were moved around as well. Avoid the hassle and don’t stay here. This hotel shouldn’t be in business.

I stayed here for my birthday vacation 10/4 - 10/6 and there were some great things about the hotel and also some things that needs improvement. Pros: Beautiful room with upgraded luxury appliances etc. Breathtaking view of the ocean on the balcony. The 3 stars is for that reason only. Cons: Confusing entry by hand and had trouble with figuring out how to get to the lobby when leaving on the elevator; card swipe declined for no reason. Doubletree is known for their warm cookies and although we were offered them, they did not come warm. I asked the front desk agent directly to make sure and she said they're not warm and apologized. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo/suite. No full body mirror in the suites. Bug (possible roach) randomly crawling on suitcase. Whether it came from inside or outside we don't know. Front desk takes forever to answer the phone, if at all. My room door was wide open upon returning from my birthday night out; not cracked open, but wide open. As we approached the room, we didn't go in because we didn't know if someone was in there/broken into, so we went back down to the lobby to have security come back up with us to check it out. Me and my cousin know for a fact that we absolutely closed and locked the door before leaving. We make a point to double-check that the door is closed before walking away. Very scary safety violation of security especially for 2 young ladies who've never been to Miami before. We requested a thorough investigation of the camera footage and a few days later security/Manager Thalia said they only see us in the hallways leaving and coming back within that period of time. But the door had to open at some point. They didn't have a camera view of the actual door. Allegedly the door is not secure unless it's clicked closed, we were told. We know we did just that, but there's really nothing we can do to prove otherwise. Thalia offered a 30% credit for the incident. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the issues didn't take away from a great birthday vacation, but I would suggest staff warn future guests of making sure the door is 100% secure when leaving the room. Or simply fix the door problem altogether.

We went here for a night before our honeymoon cruise with Virgin Voyages. First off the bell hops/door men were so nice and hard working. The counter service was great, and Michael was our favorite. He had made my husband's day by recognizing a very specific tattoo's reference, and gave us a small honeymoon package with wine, helped set up our transport to the ship the next day, and gave some close by restaurant recommendations. The room was nice and clean. The views were great, we had gotten a Grand King Suite, and room was very spacious. The shower was a bit smaller then I was expecting, but still nice. I was concerned about a loud vent that had been mentioned multiple times in other reviews- I can confirm it is a thing but not at all as loud as I was expecting from the other reviews; and I am very sensitive to noises. Check out was smooth and quick, and apparently we were the only people who were on the transport list for the ship so they paid for an uber to take us to our boat. We will be back for our next cruise and will return to this hotel.

During my most recent stay I experienced an unimaginable inconvenience of being assigned not one, but 3 rooms that were dirty. The first room was located on a floor that was being plastered and painted as we tried to roll our luggage past the covered floors and walls. There was no heads up about the painting or work being done prior to receiving our keys. The next two rooms both had old food left in the refrigerator and dirty towels and sheets. After “checking each room” myself to see if they were clean I was told I could be upgraded to another room but it would be an additional charge. I agreed because I was tired after the relocation of my luggage from each room. This “suite” had a strong sewage odor and small flying insects infested the bathroom and shower. I took a video down to the front desk and never received an apologetic response from the staff. I was told “you can go check this room that says it’s clean in the system and if you like it we'll switch your key”. I am a Hilton Honors member and have never experienced such lack of customer care. With so many options in the area I thought this would be a safe choice, sadly I was wrong.

Love our room and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The problem is we can’t sleep due to a huge very loud dance party going on in the hotel and it is right below our room. It’s 11:50pm at night and waiting for it to be over so we can sleep. It’s very frustrating because we are paying $700 a night to listen to this nonsense and feel the vibrations from the base of the music. We are now going to have to find a new hotel for the rest of our visit in Miami this week. We were told that it would be going on the entire week. We are absolutely disappointed and upset.

AMAZING!! Absolutely beautiful hotel!! Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel offers the usual amenities but the have an option for hotel rooms and condos. I stayed in a 3 bdr room condo with my husband and 2 friends. The condo was decorated beautifully w/ a balcony, full kitchen, living, room, dining room, and 3 full baths.

From the outside it looks great, but it's a whole different story from the inside. Dirty, housekeeping is a joke, only has 9 floors and service is sub-par! We ran out of soap and it took two days to get more. We had to shower in shampoo. The hotel often smelled like someone was smoking weed. They also tried to SCAM us out of $250 room cleaning fee. They placed it on our bill and said we soiled the bed. Long story short, we asked for proof and they sent us pictures of some other room. That room had a shower with a glass door, but we had a tub with shower curtain. The headboard in the messed up room looked plastic olive in color, but ours was brown and made in a total different size. The whole room orientation was different. After we said that they agreed to refund our $250. Like how did they not know that room wasn't ours before charging us $250. Be on your guard if you stay here. I believe the whole thing was a SCAM. Google Hilton $250 cleaning fee and read for yourself. CAUTION!!! ⚠️

This hotel is in need of a renovation big time. The room are kinda gross and need to be remodeled or at least repaired. Our balcony door doesn’t close unless you slam it hard. The AC has to work extra because of this bad balcony door. The closet doors are all rusted. I would not stay here again. As we were told no Hilton Honors Members benefits were given at the location. Stay some where else.

Stayed in a king room with bay view upon arrival we were given a room on the 7th floor. When we entered the room, the floors were dirty and we opened The dresser and somebody's clothes and underwear were in it. Obviously We contacted the front desk and let them know and they put us in a new room but I was not able to go up to the new room yet because I was in class all day at the hotel until 8:00 p.m.. when I was finally able to make it to the room I was completely exhausted. The floors were dirty and even had something dried on them. There was feces on the toilet and something dripping down the wall next to the vent. Every time the air conditioner kicked on (the compressor was clearly struggling) it woke me out of a dead sleep. I thought someone was vacuuming the hallway. It was so loud. For $430 a night I would have definitely expected at minimal a clean room.

Nice place to stay. Not sure why the negative reviews. Our stay was nice, room was clean and nice pool. The balcony views are nice. Would be better if the hotel had higher floors but upper levels are not too bad. Valet is a little expensive and can get crowded. Just call ahead about 10 minutes if you need your car.

I used to stay at this hotel every other month for 1-2 weeks in the condos. Since covid, I can only book on the hotel side and those rooms suck. I've asked countless times how to book a condo which was NEVER a problem before covid and no one knows anything. I keep being told to keep checking and of over 20 floors of them none of them are ever available to book unless it's a rare upgrade option. Very disappointing that they are either clueless or lying about what has changed. There is no other reason to stay at this place with half working ac on the hotel side. The marriot next door is much better.

I thought the double tree hotel was nice. This is the first time I’ve stayed at one. The rooms were really big. The hotel did feel outdated. The pool was spacious and had a great view. It was awesome to get a delicious cookie. Please note, you have to ask for them. It would be nice if they had a version of the cookie available without nuts. For the price it felt like the hotel was really expensive but I assume it’s due to the cost of living in Miami

Gorgeous hotel! I love the digital key option and it was really convenient with the shuttle to the cruise port. With multiple restaurants, a convenience store and small mall we never even had to leave the grounds. I will definitely stay here again, highly recommend.

Our room exceeded expectations. Check-in was super easy, the ladies at the front desk were awesome, and we loved the digital key option. Valet is a little on the slower side, but that wasn't a problem for us. The mini mall inside was convenient too. We can't wait to stay here again!

The hotel was nice upon entry but dirty rooms. Wifi was spotty and phone calls went in/out dependent on your location in room. The toilets are small, low to ground. The bidet was nice but low also. I had to change rooms because the first room was dirty with cracked tile floor. Even with the nice balcony bay view, I would not choose this hotel again.

What is wrong with this hotel. I booked a Grand Suite with bay view, one of the most expensive rooms at this hotel, and as soon as I got to the room, I realized I made a terrible mistake doing business with this hotel. The room was LOUD. Not because of the sound outside, it was because the air conditioner was broken. I reported that, they never apologized and offered a downgrade with no other option. They only said that is the only room available. Listen to the sound in the video, now turn the volume up, and that was what we were hearing all night. That is it with this hotel. I will take my business elsewhere. Not recommended.

The longest twisting hall to get to our room. Gross drop ceilings in the hall. Our room was spacious and appeared to have clean sheets. The TV stand and coffee table were badly dinged and damaged. Fridge was not plugged in/inoperable. Glass on the shower was filthy with soap scum. Floor could have used to be mopped, tooth paste spattered on the mirror frame.

The hotel was overall very nice, and the bed was comfortable. Upon entering the room, there was a dirty dust rag sitting on the desk. The gentleman that helped us to our room with our luggage apologized profusely for the rag that was left and picked it up. After the gentleman had left, we discovered that the balcony doors were completely unlocked, which made me feel a little uneasy but not the end of the world.. minor oversight!. As we began to get settled in for the evening, my seven-year-old son and husband was walking around barefooted on the tile floor. After about 20 minutes of walking around barefooted my son came and sat next to me on the couch, and I looked at the bottom of his feet, and they were completely disgusting due to the dirt and debris left on the floor. The floor had not been cleaned after the last guest or guests. This gave me a very uneasy feeling of the overall cleanliness of our room. My husband called the front desk and asked to have somebody come and sweep up the floors. After about 30 minutes of no one showing, I had messaged through the app seeking an ETA as we were heading out to dinner shortly. Well after an hour of making the initial request someone finally showed up to clean the floors. We spent $500+ dollars for one night at this hotel which would have totally been worth it had the room been reasonably cleaned after the last guest had checked out. I would not recommend this hotel due to the lack of cleanliness.

The good: Location! A beautiful view. The bad: Not a good spot for large families or gatherings. They have a fingerprint scanner to get into the penthouse area w/ a strict "no guests allowed" policy. Also a 6 adult max per room (we have a family of 7...). This would be fine if there was literally any dedicated space for families to gather. There is not. The food at the buffet was unpleasant, it was a struggle to find something edible. Service in general was SUPER slow. Also, pop music was playing so loud we had to speak up to hear each other. We asked them to turn the music down, and they did not. We called room service and asked for a plate. They sent us to the front desk, who sent us back. Then told us we'd have to make a purchase... to get a plate.

This was the perfect stay for us for this quick trip. We had an appointment at the passport authority and needed a quick in and out of Miami. The hotel was right across the street so was super convenient. We didn’t expect that it would be such a nice experience on top of that. We had a nice time and would love to stay when we had more time to chill and enjoy.

I heard "Doubletree" and thought "oh no". I was pleasantly surprised. Great rooms. Clean rooms. Amazing views. Incredible price. Using my phone for a room and elevator key was so convenient. I got to skip the check-in desk!

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was nice. Marble floors, huge TV and a balcony with a decent view. The pool area had nice views of the ocean and the city skyline, but the valet was such a hassle it really made me question my stay overall. First off, the valet is $48 a day after taxes and fees and is required, there are no other parking options. Second, it was such a nightmare getting in and out of there that it made me feel annoyed that such an expensive service was required when it was totally inefficient and inconvenient. Finally, I was overcharged for the valet fee 3 times in one day which I didn’t catch, an accountant at my work caught it when I submitted an expense report for the trip which was embarrassing. The hotel amended the mistake and refunded the costs, but it was a hassle overall. The hotel is located in a very congested part of downtown Miami, I think I’ll stay in the suburbs next time. The shops in the main level of the hotel are really scammy too, overpriced and unfriendly service.

Ok so in my jr.king suite the bed had hair in it as if the sheets hadn’t been changed out. When we call the desk they sent housekeeping an she pulled the hairs out the bed an left the room. I called the desk back an informed them that was not acceptable so they sent her back she changed the sheets an left the same pillow cases on the bed. I felt the room was nasty because of the hair in the bed. So, valet parking was expensive an I expected better service then what was provided. Every time I asked for my car I waited over 30/45 minutes. Then people that came after me was able to get their cars with no problem. They brought other peoples car to me asking was this my vehicle an it wasn’t. When we first got there they almost hit my car into a wall an a truck. Also had to tell them stop making my car make sounds while driving it. They was driving people cars hard. While sitting on the balcony water dripped from somewhere. It splashed on us couldn’t sit on the balcony without getting wet. I also had selected the option to pay at the property a they kept trying to charge me two days prior threatening to cancel if I didn’t prepay. Even though I selected pay at property. So that sums it up. I got videos it just won’t let me upload them.

After seeing bedbugs inside our king suite I took a picture and video and showed it to the front desk. I even caught the bedbug and placed it inside a glass. The hotel housekeeper stated they had another complaint of a bedbug inside another room after we asked. However, after showing the front desk manager Thalia, she acted like she still didn’t believe us and asked if we had opened our luggage prior to seeing this bedbug (insinuating that we possibly came with them.) we advised the front desk manager Thalia that we had pictures and video but if we could be accommodated, I would not give any bad reviews and would not mention this issue. However, she stated I could do what I wanted to do with the pictures but they had to investigate the issue and have a professional come to check the room even after housekeeping told us it was a bedbug. The wife and I still stated ok, but we all know at this counter, that this is a bedbug on this video. The manager Thalia asked for me to send the video and pictures to her email and that someone would call us and email us back but nothing could be accommodated at that moment. The manager Thalia then stated we was not suppose to even get the 50% off of the room that the first desk personal (Melissa) ended up giving us but because ( Melissa…. Which was very nice during this) stated she would see if we could get 50% off and that was the only reason we got 50% off. I sent Thalia the video and pictures several times and was only told someone would contact me back. We advised her that we were from out of town but Thalia continued to still not be very helpful in making this issue have a satisfying day ending. We ask if she could give us some accommodations and she stated not at that time. So we ask when would we expect to hear something and she stated they would call or email. It’s been a week and we haven’t heard anything. As regular visitors, Hilton honor members this was a very disappointing and dissatisfying experience at this hotel and we were almost looked at like we came with this issue. We do not look for anything to be feee or try to lie to get anything free. We book our rooms with Hilton on every family trip, vacation, business trip and just use Hilton hotel everywhere we go. I gave this Hilton a 1 star because they did not try to accommodate even after I stated I would not give a bad review if we could resolve that issue right at that moment. They didn’t resolve it and we still haven’t received any updates, calls or emails.

Room in good condition. Service horrible. Not soap in bath. Requested soap and never get one. I was purchase my own in a publix one block away. Also valet parking messed my car key for 45 min. Not one find until one guy bring back. Not recommended really back experienced for the price

First of all....all the amenities that were advertised was a lie. Definitely not kids friendly. Ac was extremely loud...kept me up all night. I was told a manager would contact me, but I guess that was just to comfort me at that moment. I was charged twice for parking after I showed the service desk rep my receipt which btw is $48 dollars per night even for Hilton members. Smh...very sad for a "Hilton" this hotel is primarily for business trips...I do not recommend for anyone traveling with kids. Definitely FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!

Senior management follow up partially made up for a pretty horrible stay! I'm a Hilton Honors member. I stay at Hiltons almost exclusively. Only a few hours into my stay here I was feeling it was one of the worst Hilton stays I've ever experienced. I specifically asked about a paid WiFi upgrade since quality of connection was important. Man at the desk said WiFi is great on that side of the building. Tere was NO WiFi. Desk management was not proactive and I ended up leaving unhappy. The property's senior manager did call me within 24 hours, heard me out and offered to make it right.

Perfect location with great views! Valet responsive. Front desk quick and friendly. Starbucks and other local shops, services and restaurants on site. Connects to the Marriott via an underground walkway. The salt water pool was very nice but always shaded (no sun) and deck was under construction at the time of our stay. Jacuzzi was great! The security features here to get in and out were not working well and a bit like a silly frustration but the concierge was always helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Nice location, love being by the water. Love the spacious deck they have connect to our living room to the primary bedroom. They have a 4 hot tubs and a cute pool that over looks the docks. It was cool to see that the hotel had so any amenities and shops. Not alot of vegan options in the restaurant tho.

Hotel is rundown, dirty, carpets stained and looks like they haven’t been vacuumed in a week. Doesn’t look like pics on Websight maybe 10 years ago Gym is super nice lots of equipment more than any other hotel I’ve seen. The elevator to the pool is broken if you don’t hit open door button on your floor it will not open. Couldn’t get back from pool elevator wouldn’t open for us to go back to our room. We ended up having to take the stairs in corner by hot tub we ended up in parking garage looking for a way out, finally found the other elevator took it back to our floor.

Spend the New Years here and it was outstanding! The balcony views and the spacious and clean environment was very pleasing. Me and my wife have traveled to many hiltons and this has been one of the top 5 visited. Prime location to restaurants and shopping centers, conveniently located at the same location you’re staying at DOWNSTAIRS! I truly loved the conviene that brought to me and the wife. There’s always reasoning for the price. We dined and shopped from the convenience of our hotel.

The room was not bad. But there was a odor of separate bidet. It was really bad. We have had to run the water and A/C all the time even the weather was cold.

Room 851 is the best room on the floor. Two balconies, ample space, and the most gorgeous views of the sun rising. I adored the space and wished that I could stay longer than my work trip allowed. Whenever I am town, I will plan for that spot as often as possible. I can't say enough about the kindness and patience of the staff. Top notch humans.

I went with my family and first thing we had to do was pay for vallet because that the only way to park in the hotel. It had its perks because you just had to call and the car would come. Their was a Pool and a Jacuzzi and they provided free pool towels. The rooms were really nice and the view I had was beautiful, I watched the sunset it was beautiful. Their was a little mall, a restaurant, and a recreational level. The staff was really nice, you asked for something and they got it for you.

My husband & I booked to stay her for a long weekend/business trip. When we arrived at the hotel room our towels were soiled yet folded properly so it was a terrible shock when we wiped dirty towels on us after a shower. The curtains were also soiled. In our last night I hurt myself near the hot tub that is on the roof. When I went to the bathroom to wash my injury there was no running water! Seriously in a hotel that is $500+ per night?! We also saw large palmetto bugs running in the hallway near the trash that was over piled near the elevator. We took photos. We tried to speak with management but we were told no managers were available & they shrugged us off & gave us business cards for the managers. I would not recommend.

Great Location! The staff are super and hospitable. The common areas and rooms were really clean and they always smelled nice. The shops near the lobby were really convenient. Great views from the room.

Very nice hotel, beautiful views of the Bay from my room and an excellent location! One main gripe I have are the cookies... why do y'all have only chocolate chip & walnut? There are so many people w/nut allergies, why not offer plain chocolate chip? On to my review... Unfortunately, there were gnats flying all throughout our room and we could not kill enough for them to be gone. The shower sprayed water from the top of the shower head and put water all over the toilet and bathroom floor. Room service didn't make our beds the first day we were there. They just dropped clean towels and washcloths and moved to the next room. During our meals, one lady on the waitstaff was so quick to try and remove people's plates/silverware, she didn't even bother to ask if we were finished our meals. And when we objected to the removal, she tried to give it back, but by then she had already touched it and we no longer wanted it. We had to complain to the service manager, Ramon, I think (who was amazingly AWESOME) and he made sure to take care of my table both days. His smile was BIG and infectious; he was a gem! The carpets in the hallway were dirty and full of stains, where one was so bad, I honestly thought it was blood. I also saw an employee sitting in the bottom floor lobby area smoking a vape. Shouldn't that be done outside?! I, for one, am very sensitive to any type of smoke due to a medical condition, so I feel would this would be unacceptable and not allowed by hotel management. The upside is the food was really good, the meeting rooms were large and spacious, and the outside terrace had spectacular views! The location could not have been more perfect! Also, the front desk staff were very courteous and professional. The pros outweighed the cons for the week I stayed and may consider this location in the future.

This is my second time staying here for work. The only downside is there is ZERO flex on checking in before 4pm. I had to get my room prior to get ready for a work event that started at 4p, so I paid for an upgrade into the condos. It was def worth the upgrade. I would not call the hotel kid friendly, but more adept for business, adult travelers without kids and residents. Great views of the bay. Hot tub looks like it was made for 4 diff adult groups which adults congregate in at night - decent size pool. Quiet nights and mornings. No breakfast, but there are a couple good places in walking distance. If you have a truck, you will have to pay more to park as the garage is super low. I don't have a lift, but have a Chevy 2500. I will stay here again next year when I am back on business.

The only nice thing about the hotel was the lobby. The room I stood at had exposed outlets and the bathroom smelled horrible. Tried to spray it down and leave the door open but no matter what it smelled. I will be gone for the day and still the room wouldn’t be cleaned unless I asked them too. The room was suppose to have a garden view but there was no view. Just construction and dirty water in a water fixture. There was no view at all. The elevator to the pool stopped working and when I called to let them know, they just told me to take the residents one but did not direct me to where it was. Will not stay again.

Stayed here for first trip to Miami, got two separate suites. Check-in was simple, and we were given complimentary cookies and water at the desk. The rooms were as pictured, really nice. Beds were really comfortable. Great view of the bay from our room. Only thing was our room was FAR from the elevator, maybe a 2-2.5 minute walk. Other than that, the hot tubs down in the pool area were relaxing and roomy enough for a group. Across from the hot tubs, there's a large pool. It was clean and a nice break from the steam in the hot tub. Staff was helpful and professional, really no complaints.

Room was okay. I would recommend this hotel based off of the staff though, they are excellent. There are great food options as well. Also, you can pretty much get anything you need at the shops below.

So I booked a junior king suite at this hotel with the bay view. You absolutely have to use valet there is no self park at $40 a night. Also the roof was leaking in the hallway the entire time we were there. No one even attempting to fix it. Just leaking into a bucket on the floor with a towel. We walked out to the pool and first off it could use some updating. The 90s called and they want their pool chairs back lol. The steps to the pool had mold growing on them. The pool deck stones are loose and wobbly. The jacuzzi was rather large and could fit lots of people which was nice. The elevator for the pool was sketchy to say the least. It wouldn't open or stay open without holding the open button. Also gave you a big jolt and clunk when it did open. The room itself was great. The view of the bay was beautiful. So was the balcony. The staff was nice enough. Especially what seemed to be the valet manager. He was very accommodating and didn't rush us at all. For the price I paid for the room I would expect just a bit more updating. The escalators to the shops were broken and secondary elevators were out of order. The whole set up and valet and check in is confusing with no signs really to be found. I would stay there again but maybe hesitate if I found something else at the same price. Even though I am a Hilton honors member and typically always go with a Hilton doubletree as my first choice (even if it costs a bit more).

The rooms were phenomenal!!! Clean, spacious, and the VIEW! I do have to say I had a junior suite with a balcony, park view and we did see the bay. There was a few things I was disappointed at. Online it did say that the rooms were connected, they were not. I know they offer rooms that are but these rooms did not which they should have emphasized. I wasn't a fan of the parking. It was a valet service and at one point it took them 20 minutes to get my car. I wasn't a fan. I don't feel like it should take that long to get a car. But overall love the hotel ambiance and the little market they had in the downstairs floor. Worth the stay.

This was my second time staying at this hotel first time I stayed there it was a great experience room was clean, view was nice, staff was great. I booked a room with bay view this time for my anniversary the staff was great, the balcony was so small and the room was not the great or clean. Towel had a red stain not sure if it was lipstick or blood the chair had a big stain on it and to be honest felt disgusted.

Reading is very much fundamental. Wasn't aware of the 4 guest, 2 children policy untill we rolled up with our wives for by friends 50th bithday weekend. Why would anyone want a 3 bedroom just to be suspected to 4guests? I totally understand and should have read the fine print but both the host and the front desk should have made that clear. I would have gladly taken my business elsewhere. Front desk was very polite in explaining and though the valet takes forever, those qpare some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. They remembered my name each time. I actually wouldn't come back based on hotel's restrictive policies but would gladly return for professionalism.

The lady Lisa is very pleasant and she handles herself very well. All of the staff were very pleasant as well as accommodating. I rate double tree a four because when we ordered room service the gentleman that brought the food up was very nice and my bill was $66.00 and I gave him a 7.00 tip. Hi signed the receipt in which I paid with my credit card. Later on my husband and I realized that he didn’t give us a receipt. I called and told him that so he brought a receipt up how about this was a different receipt and the amount was $74 and some change, I noticed that it had a $10.00 gratuity fee. I told him that I already tipped him and why is my receipt different then what I signed. He said he forgot to charge delivery and gratuity (really!!!!!!). I told him that he got two tips and he asked me if I want my 7.00 tip back and I said absolutely. When I checked my bank statement they charged me 80.00. I spoke with my bank and guest services to get that resolved. The restaurant primos was delicious really good food. The deli had good food and the shop that has unique beaded pocketbooks in the window is a nice place to shop, the lady’s name is Elizabeth I bough quite a few items out of there that she gave me a discount. I will stay at the double tree again if I am ever in Miami again. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the free cookies, yummie.🥰

A hotel stuck in the 80s, with many issues. Our room in September 2021 had an AC that was not working, a hair dryer that started smoking when just turned on, and hot water that was barely warm. I would stay away, as the place is overpriced for what you get.

Nice hotel, great location. Spacious room and big pool / gym. Fantastic view of the bay and city view. Only downside lack of one star is the room AC unit really loud, prepare your earplugs.
