We sat out in the terrace. Our waitress looked drunk or high, had smeared make up, and behaved disrespectfully flirty and handsy with my girlfriend. We don’t intend to damage the waitress, that’s what we won’t mention her name, but we really want to make the management aware. Please educate the staff or filter recruits better. Also, she said 20 % gratuity was mandatory after tab reached 25 dollars. Please confirm it is correct, and if so, inform the client in advance.

Gone down hill. Lazy bartenders and the females are unpleasant with stank faces. They even have a heavy girl bartender behind the bar. Not going to make any money hiring lazy workers no one wants to look at. They also messed up my bill and gave massive attitude when I told them. They ended up owing me money back. What happened to this place. Not the same for a while now. Must be management. They like to steal from their customers. With auto grad and pretending to make mistakes on the bill hoping drunk customers won’t notice. Not too sure why but I not coming back.

Worst experience ever, waited more than an hour for the food ,when it arrived it was cold and tasted really bad. The owner came said he would take care of it and it was also a lied.

This bar has a great location and ladies drink free every Friday from 5:30-7:30pm. The interior is large and well decorated, but gets packed and very loud on Fridays. You will most likely end up standing the entire time unless you come early. They have an outdoor seating area but it's basically a back alley parking lot. Overall, it's a great bar for happy hour but could make some adjustments to accomodate the large crowd it brings in.

Place is packed with beautiful women everywhere you look. The music on Friday was perfect! The cheeseburger egg rolls are phenomenally delicious. Can't wait to go back here. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good Friday night spot.

Came here a couple of nights. Poppin place however the bartenders are on some power trip when you try to get their attention after 30 minutes of standing there and being ignored. This was after several attempts to flag them down mind you.

Came here on a week night with friends, sat at a table after having to ask for food menus. Bartender never came over to take an order but also never said we had to go up to the bar to order. Ordered at bar, bartender was semi friendly but not willing to go above and beyond. Food was SO SO bad, didn’t even finish mine. Do NOT order the Philly Cheesesteak, it’s literally a slab of hamburger meat in a roll. Tab was $150 for 3 meals and 5 drinks (2 of which were $5 beers). I assumed that was because it was Coral Gables and I was so frustrated about the service and food I just wanted to get out of there so I didn’t question it and added a 20% tip because I’m a nice person. It wasn’t until the next time I stopped in for a drink on our way home from dinner that I noticed a TINY sign by the register BEHIND THE BAR that states gratuity is automatically added to every check over $25. At no time was that pointed out to me and I never received an itemized receipt as I was informed I needed to start a tab to order my food/drinks. They got a nearly 40% tip off of me!!! Literally, unless you’re desperate, save yourself the trouble and skip The Bar. I’ll give them one star because the drinks were strong and I am obligated in order to leave this review.

I love coming in here is always a good vibe. This place is very chill and you don't need to come dress up. A lot of people come for happy hour after work on their uniform or work clothes. On Fridays they have free drinks for ladies from 4:30 till 7:30. If you can catch the free drinks you can still have a few drinks for a very affordable price.

Since I moved to Coral gables I stopped by to the bar. I like their casual atmosphere yet customers service oriented. Jeremy, Kristina and Sara are always there for you!

If you are new in Miami then it's a good place to meet a stranger. I tried the cocktail as well as the food it was too good. Bartenders are friendly. If you go to a not-busy day they will suggest you a good cocktail and it's really nice. As an Indian living in Latin American culture, The Bar it's great for me. I’ve been coming to this bar for at least 15 years and it was literally the place where I discovered what craft beer is and it’s very disappointing the difference 15 years does. I understand changing and adapting to your market but the drastic change from craft beer bar to just serving drunk people and having bartenders not even acknowledge you to slow karaoke night Tuesday is ridiculous. And it’s not the first time in the last couple of years where it looks like the bar got bar rescued so yeah sure, it’s a cool bar in the Gables with some craft beer events going on etc. but as long timer it’s just not my thing anymore.

Update review: Nov 2022 Drinks were badd. Waited so long to get serviced and when I finally got the drinks they were awful. My date and I both agreed. Music wasn’t all that. Def a different experience than my first. Original review. 5 stars Stopped by here on a Saturday night w/ a friend who frequents the bar. Music was great and DJ was on point. Good crowd. Staff was cool but waitresses seem not to be as friendly. As a first timer, this was my experience but seems like a cool spot depending on the night.

One of my favorite bars in the gables. Great happy hour daily from 4pm to 8pm. Ladies drink free on Fridays from 4:30pm to 7:30pm I love to go on tuesdays for karaoke night from 10pm to 2am. If youre hungry give the lobster rolls a try I love them!

I appreciate this place a lot. The staff and managers are excellent and nice. The environment too. I can come here on the weekend and enjoy my beer in peace. No drama at the bar just fun!

Love it! Friendly staff, great vibe, and good drink selections. Gets very crowded on the weekends but they have a hidden outdoor area in the back to catch a break from the crowd. Drinks are a bit pricey but not crazy for the area.

This place has been a hidden gem for us for over 5 years. The burger was so delicious! Grilled perfect flavor with a toasty bun. The burger blend has the right amount of juiciness and flavor, and lean-to-fat savoriness. Your choice of swiss or cheddar and of course enjoy a drink while you wait. It comes with fries too! Regular, sweet potato or truffle.

The female bartenders are average. they like to be on their cell phones too much. Automatic gratuity on bills that are $25 and above. Actually anything that is close to $25. My two tabs were $23 and $24 and change. Both of which I was charged Automatic gratuity.

Has been one of the consistently best bars I've been to over the years. When covid happened they really stepped up to create a safe atmosphere. it's still a really great place to go in Coral gables and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

My new favorite place to get a nice juicy burger.. I was working in the area for about a month so I frequently went in.. always good service and helpful people. Only small issues is if a regular keeps coming in daily the whole ID thing is kinda pointless.. I'm always ready and prepared to show ID it's there job but I mean when you see a regular person then...

Horrible service, horrible prices, and horrible drinks. Will probably never stop in here again. I went here for happy hour where our waiter said well drinks were half off. When I get my tab, he had charged me full price and then said it wasn't half off but buy one get one free. So I was now forced to pay full price and have another drink I did not want. Very disorganised.

Never going again. Place is trash, rude bartenders, overpriced drinks. And might as well just bring your own drink if you ever decided to go there they take forever to make it.

Avoid this place at all costs!!!! I got FOOD POISONING from the Fried Chicken sliders. They were overcooked and over-seasoned. Woke up the next day and had to call out of work with nausea and a severe headache.

Good drinks at affordable prices. Great atmosphere as always. I suggest to get an additional bartender for a Friday night, the wait time was a bit long for my friend. For me it was around 10 minutes, but he waited 25. Luck of the draw I guess. Still, love The Bar always.

What a great place for cozy cocktails and an amazing ambience. Had an amazing time dancing the night away with their DJ and nothing better than hanging with friends. The only downside was that the drinks are very expensive.

This place is very nice and located far enough from anything to make plenty of noise. I come here often and find it a great place to socialize since it is never too noisy. The mixed drinks are well made and mixed right in front of you so you can see what you are in for. They even have beer pong upstairs if you really miss those days im college.

This beautiful landmark never disappoints! Had a group of 22 last night and Sarah and Stretch were the absolutely best. Stretch got in high gear and got an area that made us all feel comfortable and Covid safe. Sarah is an absolute Rock Star! Was on point and no one ever had an empty glass, she’s the best waitress.
