The real deal, I have been coming to this Ruth’s Chris for 4+ years and has always been my absolute favorite restaurant, this review ONLY applies to the Ruth’s Chris in coral Gables Florida… this has been and by far my worst experience at a Ruth’s Chris. The ribeyes which were requested at medium were definitely on the over done side and a little salty, we had to ask for bread we saw the waiter like 4times in the 2 hours we were there, the asparagus along with the roasted Brussels sprouts were cold and honestly tasteless. We ordered the crème broule for desert and not only was it cold you can see the blackberrys were moldy… not to mention the of the more than 25 to 30 times we have been to this specific location the tables all around were still littered with filthy dishes, in the past when we were there when the guest left the table was cleared immediately, tonight it was a horrible experience…. What happened new management? New chef new wait staff??? Please bring back the old ten they were WAY better that what we experienced tonight.

The steak was amazing. The Cesar salad also delicious. The service was also outstanding. We had a nice relaxing time with a great meal. The baked potato was a little hard (undercooked), but everything else was great. I would definitely go back again. I love how the plates are super hot when they bring out your steak. Friendly staff, they do have valet or city parking near by.

Ruth's Chris Steak House is a good choice if considering location, style, environment, and food concept, however it is not definitely one of the best I have tried. I had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is in a great place, heart of Coral Gables and this is without doubt one of the distinguished features. The american style, luxury, beauty, excellent environment, good music, nice staff, and delicious food make this restaurant count as a great option for dinner. I tried Cowboy Steak, medium well, with mashed potato. It was really delicious. Even I don't like deserts they offered a happy birthday cake and a nice singing. The experience was good overall. Definitely I would recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful dining experience all around. Gabriel provided professional & personal service. Cocktails were strong. Food was perfection across the board: generous lump crab cakes without useless bread filler, filet mignon cooked perfectly with butter, deliciously cajun spiced lobster tails, & crispy brussel sprouts. My husband & I can’t wait to return.

The service is great as always, but this time around we had a few mishaps with the food and temperature of the steak. I had to send the steak back twice, to be cooked properly. Thankfully they adjusted the bill for the inconvenience.

The place is really nice, very well located at Miracle Mile in Coral Gable, honestly a little expensive, but worth it. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, you can go without hesitating. Food and drink options are great. They offer valet parking, but there are several public parking spots around the restaurant. I strongly recommend this place.

I went to this Ruth’s Chris location for my birthday and the staff made me feel so special! They wrote me a card, decorated the table, and everyone wished me a happy birthday as they passed by the table. Marcos was amazing and so kind and attentive beyond anything I’ve ever experienced! This was truly a fantastic meal and I am already dying to go back.

It's been a while, and to be honest , I wasn't sure . Since before the pandemic, we haven't visited Ruth's Chris . Tonight was the night, and I'm happy to say that everything is still the same..... Great . Valerie was our waiter, and he did a great job. The food was fantastic. Ruth's Chris was and still is a classic and great Steak house .

We had great dinner , Marcos our server was excellent and his helper too. He suggested the Cowboy RiBeye and some side plates. Definitely will return, great hospitality and the Gen manager Julia was awesome spent some time talking to her she is very personable. Occasional or anytime awesome lunch or dinner

Booked reservation noting birthday celebration. Arrived to find birthday themed confetti and what appeared to be a handwritten birthday card. So very thoughtful. I had the lamb chops. They were spectacular. Brayton provided excellent service.

Honestly this entire experience was amazing. I went for my birthday and I felt like such a princess. The service was 100/10, Maria was our server and everything she recommended ended up being our favorite dishes. The sweet potato casserole? 10/10! The best I’ve had. The lobster Mac and cheese was also great! I ordered the fillet mignon and I loved it. They cooked it exactly how I asked and was worth the price. The stuffed chicken was the best! (And also the cheapest entree that we ordered). The New York strip was super tasty and savory. Everything was amazing, I’m convinced to come back!

Your traditional American steakhouse with classic decoration and ambiance. The food is amazing and so it’s the service. The chef recommendations (for which I appreciate the separate section in the menu) were amazing. The drinks are great as well, mostly the Manhattan, but I do prefer the wine. Although it’s a steakhouse, the seafood was amazing and fresh, so I would recommend trying it. I would recommend it for a business meeting or family gathering, or even a low key date night.

We went to celebrate Father’s Day and did not have a great experience. The waitress was very aggressive…Every time she would come to pour water into our cups she would push herself around us without saying excuse me and pour the water while spilling some on the table. Sometimes she would pour so much water into the cups that it would almost overflow. All of the steaks we ordered were not correctly cooked. My husbands steak came out well done, which they cooked another steak and brought it back out quickly, the manager came to apologize and gave us gift cards, which was nice of her, but some of the other steaks were not cooked correctly. We felt bad complaining about every single steak. My sons steak was medium on one side, but then well done on the other. The cowboy steak my brother in law ordered was unevenly cooked as well, one side medium almost raw, then the other half medium well. We have been to multiple steakhouses and have never had such badly cooked steaks. My lobster Mac n cheese was terrible, I did not finish eating it. The macaronis were not fully cooked and some cheese was just sprinkled on top. The lobster was also over cooked. We would not come back to this restaurant and feel terrible spending so much money ☹️

It is unfortunate that I have to write this review as this used to be one of my favorite ruths Chris locations in the country, and my husband and I frequent this location quite often, mainly due to the superb customer service. However, after tonight's experience I will not return to this location. We made a reservation for 1/7/23 at 7:30 pm to celebrate my birthday. Our waiter, Cody was absolutely terrible. Took forever to get our cocktails, as well as to get a napkin for my husband since we were one short. We asked multiple times for water refills and only got them after asking another server who refilled them right away. He never checked in, so we had to search for him to get any type of service, despite the fact that he would walk right past us to go check on the table behind us. My husband explained to him that we understood delays happen, but we need more communication from him to understand what's going on. Cody clearly didn't care and gave a half hearted apology. Worst experience I've ever had. We quickly asked another server for boxes (since Cody never came back with them) paid the check, and left. Will not be back to this location.

Simple elegance with exceptional service and great food... especially the filet mignon. The general manager, Julia Liebling, is one of the best in the restaurant industry. She personally attended to our requests and made our night out very special. We have dined at this Ruth's Chris for 18 years. They are consistently outstanding in every way.

It had been a while I hadn’t eaten in Ruth’s Chris and i was jonesing at the bit to have a great meal but its not the same as before. I dont know if as Miamians were so spoiled with new restaurants every day that are really radical with there food. Although this restaurant is not a 3 star because the service is good, the meat was not perfect and the sweet potato was not hot and creamy as it used to be. The ravioli you cant taste the texture it wasn’t like fresh made the same day. However had a nice time and had some drinks but maybe they need to add little twist overall

Service=5 ⭐️ Food= 4-5 ⭐️ Prices= 3-4 ⭐️ Ambiance= 5 ⭐️ Location= 5⭐️ I’m torn between giving this place 4 stars or 5 stars. In the end I give them 5 for several reasons. Number one being the service. There’s nowhere else you could go where they will treat you better. Our waiter, Giovanni, was amazing! He was attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and yet very personable. I couldn’t have asked for a better server. The second reason is the entire experience- the restaurant is clean, updated, elegant, comfortable, and has a great ambiance to it. We sat by the window and had a nice view of the older architecture in Coral Gables. From the moment we walked in, the hostess, bussers, and all staff were welcoming and accommodating. The experience itself was incredibly enjoyable. The location is also great. It’s in a great area where there are a lot of places to walk around and see. The food is really 4-5 stars. I’m not sure if the high prices make me feel this way. But, I can’t get over a petit filet and 4 shrimp being $50, with NO sides. To pay $15 for a side potato, or $15 for a side vegetable, really makes your meal $70. For that, I don’t feel like there’s any possible way that the steak is that much better than any other steakhouse that charges $40 for the steak, including the side dishes. You’re really paying for the service at this point. To continue with the food, I got the garlic crusted sea bass. My husband got the petit filet with 4 shrimp. We shared a side of au gratin potatoes and a side of the porcini mushrooms. I had a glass of Sauvignon blanc. My husband tried the RC version of a Moscow mule. Both were very good. The sea bass was as good as I’ve had other places. Just as good as P.F. Chang’s. Not as good as Atlantis in the Bahamas. I tried a bite of my husband’s steak. It was good. Nothing amazing. Better than Outback, but not better than Morty’s or Fleming’s. Just as good. The mushrooms were a big hit! Absolutely delicious! The potatoes were good. We didn’t order any appetizers because we didn’t want to fill up before our meals. We were full afterwards and didn’t have any room for dessert. Altogether our bill was $187 before tip. We left our server a $50 tip because he was the best part of the evening. I would go to any restaurant he worked at. I recommend this place for a special occasion, but to me the food does not justify the prices. I would go back if it was on the company card.

My husband I celebrated our anniversary here and everything was amazing! The food was very tasty, everything! They managed to even make the veggies tasty! Lol. Staff was great! Our waiter was very nice ! Will be back!

A little disappointed today. Sat in the bar area. Servers were super helpful and attentive but the food and service was a little lacking. 1st - dirty water glass. 2nd - none of their signature bread - served cold rolls instead. 3rd - crabcake was super bready and lacked the usual chunks of crab. 4th - ordered a 2nd coconut lemon drop martini and they brought it to me in a highball glass because they 'ran out of martini glasses'. 5th look at the presentation of lamb chops and burnt asparagus- shameful and very dissappointing. Update!!! Sent the over-cooked lambchops back for a re-fired fresh order only to be be told the RAN OUT OF LAMBCHOPS!!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

5/5 everyday. I have visited many times when I am in the area and they will never disappoint! All staff is very nice and attentive. The food is amazing and those sizzling plates are very cool! The steaks are always cooked perfect and delicious! The restaurant is beautiful and in the heart of Coral Gables. I recommend the artichoke/goat cheese dip best I have had in Miami but you will end up trying all the plates. Their valet is also super attentive and sweet. If you are in the area this is a must visit!

This is one of the best places where I ate a good cut of meat...., Cooked to perfection.... If you are thinking to eat a good steak, this is the restaurant...., However, the side menu is small and poor. I ordered brussel sprouts and they came out burned and very dry...., Also the spinach dip was with no flavor at all. This is an expensive restaurant that they should be more careful with the sides dishes. A great dinner needs to be complete including sides....

This was our first time visiting Ruth Chris so we weren’t sure what to expect. How very they exceeded our expectations. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, efficient, and entertaining. The food was superb. Steak was to die for “literally” We will definitely dine here again.

One of the top 10 steaks I’ve ever had. The service was phenomenal, our waiter checked in on us often and we felt really cared for. The wine (Belle Gloss Pinot Noir) with a filet was absolutely magical. Lobster tail, Mac n cheese, and potato’s au gratin, were to die for. Dessert (Crème brûlée) was fantastic. Great atmosphere inside, amazing food, solid service. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

My partner took me there for b-day celebration. We visited May 11th, 2022 at around 8:30 pm. We had a great time, the service was first class. It is a fancy restaurant, and may want to dress accordingly. My partner had a tomahawk steak, he loved it. I had lamb chops with potatoes au gratin. They were delicious. Totally recommended.

First time coming here tonight and I can happily say I will be coming back! Our waiter was Loraine and she was one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. She was sweet, fun, and super knowledgeable about the menu, gave awesome recommendations on food and drinks.

Ok … I have been to a lot of Ruth Chris restaurant but this one was just OK. My order came out wrong. The other people I was dining with steak was not as ordered and by the time they cooked it right, we were all ready to leave. The cake they gave us for the birthday surprise was not free nor did it taste good. I guess that was the surprise
