An exceptional dinner, even when takeout. This restaurant was located within my own hotel, so I had the food delivered to my room instead of going to the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that everything was still fresh and delicious even when packed in takeout containers. Their egg and onion loaf is a must if you like bread. This massive bread is crispy on the exterior while light and fluffy inside. Paired with butter makes the experience better. Their Snake River Farms Wagyu Meatballs are fantastic. Extremely tender and juicy, you can taste that the quality of the meat has a more rich and fatty flavor that is only enhanced by the fresh basil, mozzarella, and tomato sauce paired with it. Finally, while I know their name has “steak” in it, I was feeling like having a great chicken dish. Their chicken Christopher was exactly that. 2 thin, tender pieces of chicken are lightly breaded and pan seared. They give a side of a garlic and shallots beurre blanc that has an acidic and light taste, pairing excellently with the fat and savory chicken. Unbelievably great experience.

Top quality steaks, side orders, desserts and service. Immaculate, clean indoor or outdoor seating. Relaxed, professional friendly service. A recent business lunch was as delicious and relaxing as one could ask for. Two course lunch offered for $37.00! Classic lobster bisque with 2 larger chunks of lobster, so rich and well seasoned. To the second course, a petite filet mignon cooked to tempature ordered, served with a rich bone marrow butter on the side ($ 6 extra) Freshly baked warm bread could easily take place of a first course if desired. Ending with chocolate mousse was a wonderful finale. A bit pricey, but well worth it for a special occasion or business lunch.

We ordered two salmon: one well done and the other one medium rare and crispy outside. Also, one white fish. Good flavor. Sides are not included, so we ordered truffle French fries and smash potato. Both good! As a dessert: one cheesecake and vanilla ice cream. Cheesecake is good, but too sweet. Dog friendly. Prices accordingly with the area and quality of the food. Well located on Miracle Mile. They always have business parties, usually on the second floor.

We dined at Morton's last October. We have always had a great dining experience there or at the one up north. We love the super white tablecloths and the charming ambiance. We both ordered Filet Mignons, which were cooked to perfection. As a side dish, we chose to share a Lobster Mac n Cheese, which was delicious with plenty of lobster in it. We both chose Merlot for our wine. Delicious, all of it! For dessert, we had Creme Brulee, which was so good. Our server was Jennifer, who was so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Parking is available on the street or a nearby garage. Reservations are encouraged. They do have a dress code. We had a very nice time and will be back again soon.

The place was really good. There's a reason they've been there for so long. It definitely is a higher end restaurant in every definition of the words. Whether it's a special occasion or you're a regular, this spot is great for it. I'm not one for filet mingon, but let me tell you every bite was great. I recommend you try it if you want a leaner cut. Also, the corn sufle was to die for. They add some jalapeños in there, and it's freaking amazing. The lobster Mac was really good, and my only knock would be that the Brussel sprouts were missing a little something. But aside from that, our waitress was awesome. She definitely went above and beyond doing things we didn't ask for but in a good way. I hope you get to experience her. If you can, ask to be seated with Vanessa. We ordered a lot of food for just 2 people so we shared everything to get a taste of everything. The steak you see is cut in half, which is also a nice touch I think. Drinks were a bit pricey but it is coral gables, in a higher end spot so honestly not out of the range for other similar spots in the area. So I don't hold that against them. My over experience was great. I recommend to everyone to try Morton's out . Oh and lastly.....the freaking bread and butter. Id they offer it, get it. But please eat it all or take it with u. It's such a good loaf, and wasting food is bad anyway.

I really liked this place, the entremés are the main star of this place, but the main course was delicious, the price of the food is consistent with the quality, around $100 per person, but the wines seemed very expensive for the It has a selection of wines, the type of wine that you can find in Publix for a price of $24 per glass, I don't know...

Great upscale steakhouse. The staff was very friendly and informative. They were able to answer all of our questions and had lots of suggestions. We had the bacon steak appetizer, which was fantastic! Will definitely come back to this place when I’m back in Miami!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Morton's last night. First of all, when I made the reservation, I was asked what the occasion was... and I indicated "anniversary". There was no mention of it whatsoever by the host or our waiter. I recall a previous anniversary, we went to a different high-end steakhouse and they had the table very nicely decorated and presented us with a very nice "Hallmark" style card. Additionally, the host, waiter, and manager also congratulated us. That was a very nice gesture and is what one would expect from a high-end "$$$$" steakhouse. This was not such a big deal to us, as we did not need to be congratulated or made feel special, but I am mentioning it for the purpose of explaining all details of our experience. Once seated, we had to wait extensively for our waiter to greet us. My wife asked for water with lemon, and I ordered a beer. The lemons took about 10 minutes to arrive, and the beer was warm. The food also took very long to arrive. We didn't expect to have these issues on a Wednesday night, at a restaurant of such "high caliber"... Friday-Sunday it is understandable. I would have given one star, but the food was really good, so they deserve some credit for that.

Fantastic service and attention! Vanessa was our waitress and she was incredibly helpful and gave us great advice. She knows the menu! Bread was incredible with a garlic butter. The wedge salad is to die for!! Just order it. The lobster bisque has big pieces of lobster in it. What?! Yes…amazing. Steaks were cooked to perfection, and the fries are also fried to perfection. The green beans were scrumptious!! Everything was incredible. For dessert the cheesecake hit the spot! I loved my experience very much and I am giving my 5 stars based on Vanessa, her attention to detail and the truly delicious food. Having said that, people, please do not take your crying babies to Morton’s!!!!! There was a table with 3-4 babies, all fussing. I LOVE my son so much, and loved taking him places when he was little, but I also knew where to take my baby. Don’t be so selfish. Find a sitter or hold off and go elsewhere until your babies are older. Come on, it sounded like Crackle Barrel in this really fine restaurant. Next time I’ll avoid Miami Spice month all together. Unfortunately common sense isn’t very common at all these days!

Very nice steakhouse in coral gables, 3 of us went there on a Monday afternoon and as soon as we sat down oscar greeted us and told us a little about the menu and shared some personal favorites. We had the alexander shrimp, and 2 of the 60$ 3 course meals while my brother ordered himself a bottle of the belle gloss and a NY. The shrimp is a must have with the sauce it comes on top, lord help me its amazing. Definitely the highlight of the meal lol. An the bacon is to die for ! I don’t give the food 5 stars because the steaks weren’t as good as i thought they were going to be but DONT GET ME WRONG they were great just not what i thought. Ill definitely be back. Oscar Thank you for the excellent service !

Went to Morton's in Coral Gables for Thanksgiving. We had a private dining room for my family. Marlene JJ and another female server (originally from Cuba), I'm not sure of her name. I may be off, but it sounds like Yuneisy. They worked very hard and provided our table of 15 EXCELLENT service. We will be back again next year and will need to reserve an adjoining room. Thanks again to Morton's for making our Thanksgiving feast a memorable one. Many Thanks to Marlene, JJ, and "Yuneisy" for making our Thanksgiving extra special.

Mortons is famously pricey, but honestly I see why. When a name has been hyped so much I think I'll get disappointed, but that didn't happen at all. Food was incredibly flavorful. Even for a vegetarian in a steakhouse! My husband said the steak and lobster were great as well. Ambiance is elegant but relaxed. Our waitress was part of what made the experience great. Helpful and friendly!

My family and I took my sister to Morton's as a birthday lunch. The experience was AMAZING! Our waitress Vanessa was the sweetest, most genuine, and extremely helpful waitress I've ever encountered. There was no wait time, and the food came out fast, fresh, and delicious! They even accommodated my nephew with a wheelchair accessible table, due to his broken leg! It's was our 1st visit at Morton's, but it definitely won't be the last! We will return. The food was flavorful and the ambiance of the restaurant was spectacular! From my phone call to make reservations to the exit of my visit, the experience was phenomenal and effortless. The parking situation is a hassle. No valet available, so we had to park in a tight parking lot close by. Other than that, our experience was top-tier! Thank You Morton's Steakhouse Staff!

One of the best Steak Houses. Delicious filet mignon, and the bake potato was amazing. You have to try the Wagyu meatballs as an appetizer!!! The service is outstanding, someone was there to check up on our table every few minutes. The tables are spread out for social distancing, and the menu is online (scan with camera app). We ate on the outdoor area, and it was a perfect day to eat out. You should definitely park on the garage nearby, city parking is limited. You can pick up your order if you can't make a reservation. Definitely worth it.

The service at the bar was excellent. Professional, courteous and friendly. The atmosphere on weekday late evening was pleasant. The place was almost empty and quiet. The filet mignon sliders were good and reasonably priced. The fries were pretty good too. No more late night happy hour at this location

I have been meaning to write this review for the longest! On March I celebrated my birthday with my closest friends and family. It was the greatest birthday ever! The place was beautiful, the attention was beyond amazing, and the food was so delicious. Tony, the chef, he’s so kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place for your special occasions, you won’t regret it :)

It Was a great experience. The service was outstanding. Our server Oscar was great. Super nice very knowledgeable about the foods and gave great recommendations. They have a super good deal for brunch/lunch. A 3 course meal for $31. The food was delicious from the appetizers all the way to the dessert. The restaurant is very nice inside. It has 2 stories and you could have a private event on the second floor.

Exceptional service from the hostess, waitress and manager who help us celebrate a birthday. the decorations were a nice surprise at the table. The Lobster Mac & Cheese is amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly. Both the French Onion Soup and Lobester Bisque were amazing. You cannot go wrong with either choice.

Decided to come in today for lunch and sit at the bar. Filet was cooked to perfection overall lunch was great, but most importantly my server/bartender Ben was extraordinary. Polite, on top of things and very professional. Thank you very much.

This is the second Morton's location I've been to. It does not compare to the one in North Miami. To start with, the overall ambiance and vibes of the restaurants are all off. It's much noisier, able to hear every clink and clang coming from the kitchen; we were sat in the middle of the dining room. The tables are noticeably lower quality. They felt like they could break or tip over at the slightest motion. The service is not as good either. Our waiter was short with us, and quite slow to refill our drinks. He just had a vibe about him that seemed like he didn't like his job. Not a good energy to be around when you're hoping for a nice night out. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but I don't know why that had to become our problem. The food however was still quite good, so at least there's that. But when you go out to a restaurant like Morton's, you expect more than just good food. The overall experience must be worth the price tag. And this time it was not.

One of my favorite steakhouse in Miami. Top of the line service & food every time I’ve visited during brunch/lunch/dinner, even amidst the pandemic which is a rarity. Morton’s in Coral Gables never fails to disappoint.

We had a most wonderful experience at Morton’s tonight. I can’t stress how empresses we were. We’re foodies and have eaten at many steakhouses and by far this has been the most incredible experience. From the hostess who sat us to the lady that brought us the water and bread to our server, Octavio, it was excellent. Other steakhouses are stuffy and the servers are obnoxious and just want to be fake with the patrons so they can get a good tip. Who wants that? I want to feel relaxed while I’m eating. At Morton’s, we saw they way they treated everyone who came in to eat and I can tell you, the way people are treated, you would think you were at a friends house. Our server , Octavio was just amazing. He is definitely an asset to Morton’s. Friendly, helpful and caring about the people he serves. Congratulations Morton’s for having what we think is the best staff in all the steakhouses in Miami. Congratulations!

Never been to Morton’s a day in my life I’ve only had take out from them once with a friend. I chose to dine in at Morton’s for my birthday last week although the food was good. The service was not. I anticipated this day for weeks I was excited just to experience fine dining at a “5 star restaurant” . Strike one was when I ordered a double shot STRAIGHT NO CHASER and the waitress brings my drink and I can tell that it was cut with soda or something sweet. She said she watched the bartender make it and that there wasn’t anything else in it, long story short they corrected it and she brought it back right. Second strike was when it came time to sing Happy Birthday to me . The staff was FULLY aware that it was my birthday hence the reservations made , the custom made menu’s AND the host wishing me a happy birthday once we were seated. While we ate our meals.I watched at least two different parties also celebrating birthdays get sang to. Our waitress Vanessa asked me what kind of desert I wanted and I told her the hot chocolate lava cake. She brings me the cake with a candle lit and says “ we didn’t want to embarrass you by singing happy birthday” and walks away. Did I miss something??? I didn’t know I had to ask to be sang to on my special day. I will not be returning to Morton’s anytime soon at least not the Coral Gables location. The bill came out to $400 for 3 people which isn’t bad BUT I would’ve much rather spent my money elsewhere that had better service.
