ABBRACCI is an old-school Italian restaurant with classic cuisine served by professionals. Our meals were outstanding. The dinning experience reminded me of a few of my favorite Italian Restaurants in South Philly and Manhattan.

Best Italian in Gables. Classic ambience, old fashioned, delicious food, amazing service. Valet $8, but there is a parking lot right there or you can park in front Books and Books, at the Public parking and have a nice walk.

The restaurant was extremely small but comfortable. The staff was attentive but slow to take orders and follow up. Overran the food was 3/5, and service was 3/5. While seated, there was a strong smell of tobacco coming from the kitchen area. I'm unsure if this was a smoke area, but didn’t sit very well with our dinner.

Went here after we ditched our 2.5 hour reservation at Hillstone (no restaurant is good enough to wait that long). I enjoyed the fried calamari and their very fresh hot out-of-the-oven dinner rolls (my favorite so far from all restaurant-served breads). My sister’s boyfriend really enjoyed his Parmesan chicken and my sister regrettably didn’t get to enjoy her lobster ravioli since a miscommunication of sharing dishes led her to order a simple pasta dish instead. I enjoyed my sea bass although I wish the portions were bigger and my mom had her usual seafood pasta. Dessert was a disappointment for me since I was recommended to order the ice cream. The description seemed fun but it ended up being was vanilla- chocolate ice cream with a cherry center dipped in a chocolate shell. It was visually pleasing but the ice cream was not that great. Publix had smoother ice cream than this. Waitstaff was good and seating was only ok (due to the pandemic, many restaurants have seating on the sidewalk but I don’t enjoy eating next to valet parked cars and their corresponding car fumes. My sister ordered the nonna cake which ended up being similar to a key lime pie. She and her boyfriend enjoyed the tart dessert. Over all it was a pleasant experience. Might come back to try those lobster raviolis next time. By the way, they take reservations, that is how we were able to get seated within the 15 minutes it took to walk there from Hillstone.

Very old school place and atmosphere! When you order a pasta and it is comparable to Olive Garden, that tells you what kind of kitchen you have here. Service was very friendly though!

Food and dining service was First Class. Pasta was outstanding. Fresh, hot, "home made" style. Sauce, delicious. Bread, hot and crusty. A crew of very attentive serving staff completely at your service without being intrusive. Nice wine selection as well. Bravo.

This is a classic Italian restaurant. The ambiance is very nice. They have a decent selection of wine. I picked the off the menu chicken parmigiana which was fantastic. All of our party were happy with their entrees. Went in May 2019 and hope to be back again soon.

My husband and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was our first time eating at this establishnent using a gift certificate given to us by a client. Truthfully, this restaurant was a total disappointment. The decor was dated and not very pleasing. The service was mediocre. The food presentation was not to the level expected of a high end restaurant. Food quality was below average and overpriced. We will not return to this restaurant.

Traditional Italian restaurant that has been in Coral Gables since I remember at least 26 years. Love the pasta and fish , its a charming cozy restaurant, with old style waiters that know how to serve a fine dine table. I will definitely keep coming back.

Delicious Italian food served with excellent detail to quality. I have eaten here twice in the past month and wasn’t disappointed either time. The appetizer to dessert was an absolute treat. I highly recommend this place for its attentiveness to its guests and quality food. It is my go to Italian restaurant in Coral Gables.

It was my husband’s birthday, so I took him to this restaurant because the place had great reviews. When I reserved the table through open table, I wrote in the comments that it was a birthday ocasión, so I wanted them to sign happy birthday to my husband when the dessert came to the table. Once we enter the restaurant and the guy looked at my reservation he acknowledged that it was a birthday ocasión and even asked how my husbands name was spelled. When dessert came to our table, they didn’t sing or acknowledge the birthday ocasión. This was very disappointing. I have to say that the service was good, but the food was just ok. There are many places I can think of that can I can get a delicious Italian meal for a better price.

First time for us, the food was good. I personally found the wine a bit on the pricey side. You might want to ask if they have a cooking fee. It will probably be worth it. Besides that, I would definitely recommend.

It was on point. I felt like I was in New York at an older Italian restaurant. Classico. Seriously, the food was seriously good and obviously the service was great, if a little stiff. You can tell everyone is a regular in the way the staff recognize. While the location is out of the way, I would recommend to anyone. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars were that the serving staff were not friendly and the end of the meal they forgot about us, could be the training but I am used to Italian being a warm smile with the welcome and departure. Otherwise, a classic!

Pretentious. Somethings never change. I remember being one of their first patrons in early 90's. Including the sister restaurant Bacci on Ponce. The difference being as Abracci became more popular my efforts in getting a table despite my loyalty became very difficult. They would stage me at the bar for hours as i watched other arrivals get seated before me. I guess i Wasn't famous enough or powerful or fashionable or cash in the pocket friendly enough to merit a just turn at getting a table. I found myself as a guest there recently, 30 years later it is still the same --- "Pretentious ". But, the food is excellent! As is the service staff. It's the front door man that's the boss, that is still tge same.

I love their seafood linguini and their delicious bread...seriously for me is addictive!! Oh...and their mozzarella caprese salad...omg! Any plate that you take from the menu is so fresh...and the suspended crystal lamps inside are gorgeous. All the staff is so cordial and they make to feel you as a family member. My favorite drink at the end is a strong and sweet Amaretto. I recommended this place a 100%

The interior is staid and tired. Almost cafeteria-like. The food is good but boring, pedestrian, even. The lobster ravioli were just thin pasta with some filling thrown haphazardly on the plate doused in a layer of thick liquid. The salmon was good, well prepared, the vegetables were atrocious. The salads were mixed. The Caesars Salad looked OK, the salad that came with the salmon could have been one of those awful salads from sushi places (you know, the soup or salad thing). The service was excellent.

Medium Rare Fillet Mignon cooked perfectly. The seafood sampler appetizer was delicious. Classical environment, very interesting men's restroom, design-wise

Cafe Abbracci is a very classy place. We dined at Cafe Abbracci two weekends in a row. The food is great and good value for your money. The service is superb and the clientele is usually very classy. We were greeted at the door when we arrived and when we left with Buona Sera. The bar has a Tiffany type of glass on the ceiling that is very beautiful. The fish entrees are delicious and also the filet Mignon. The wine selection is good. If you plan to dine there make reservations and show up with a blazer.

Abbracci ("embrace") this reccomendation. Went 05/10/22, the food was ok, not great; service was great. Need to update the ambience and eliminate the old carpet smell. We understand its a classico vintage italian but needs update.
