Very good Italian restaurant in Merrick Park. The outdoor seating especially nice is weather permits. Had the fried calamari n zucchini starter and was pleasantly surprised by how large the portion was. The breadbasket had delicious whole meal bread. I asked and they sell it retail next door. Very professional and prompt service. A great place to have a break if your partner wants to shop for much longer than you do.

I was there on. weekday for lunch. The food was good, not excellent. I had Fettucini Alfredo and Pollo al Carbone. Dessert was a Key Lime Pie. It was the best of the menu. Very nice selection of wines. Waiters very nice, but not well trained.

Celebrated my husband's birthday yesterday. Excellent food. He enjoyed the lombata Parmigiano and I loved the manicotti. Service was outstanding by G. Yamilka and her assistant. My husband ordered creme brulee, the staff sang happy birthday and loved the experience. We will definitely make plans to return!

I ordered gnocchi with 4 cheese sauce and it was delicious, the only thing I didn't like was the Parmesan cheese. The tiramisu for dessert was delicious. I asked if they could make me the gnocchi with the sauce of another pasta that was offered on the menu and they refused, they told me that they would have to charge me for each ingredient of the sauce (both dishes cost the same🤷🏻‍♀️)

Great Italian Restaurant with a good selection of classic Italian Dishes. We went for lunch, be sure to ask for the Lunch Menu, as they seem to default to the Dinner Menu. I highly recommend this place.

I'm very disappointed with the service I was provided in the restaurant. For a long time I was looking forward to try this beautiful Italian restaurant. But my expectations were not successfully meet because of the service of tonight's dinner. My friend and I shared a beautiful well done carpaccio as an appetizer, and 3 main courses ( we love going out to eat)one of them was a chicken picata, one of my favorite dishes of Italian food but unfortunately my chicken was not cooked well. I am not a person that complaints but after mentioned this issue to one of the servers to communicate with the chef and my server, apparently did nothing. My server shows up after a few minutes with my check and did not even apologize for the inconvenience. I also work in the industry in a very prestigious hotel in Miami. I know things like this could happen. But i always acknowledge the situation , I was not looking to have my dish removed from the check wich it wasnt but i am just disappointed, that ruined my dinner and my experience of ever coming back to the restaurant didn't finish my dinner and I really hope I don't get sick. I won't even recommend it to the hotel guests where I work whenever they ask for a recommendation of an Italian restaurant.. very sad and disappointed.

Such good food with a really good price!!! You won’t get this kond of food for that price anywhere, specially in the US! My favorites are “fusilly al telefone” ehich is pasta with tomato sauce and mozzarella and as desert the AMAZING apple pie! It is my favorite apple pie EVER!! I have never eaten a better one yet - it is big so not for one person, but incredible! And the staff is always very kind and receptive! Good service as well!

Totally disappointed with this place. I went with my wife yesterday night. At the location everything was ok. We requested to have the rest of our food to go and they just gave us boxes completed sealed and extra wrapped in plastic. When I opened today to check the food I just had plain pasta. No sauce or anything on it. Also my dish was short pasta and they put it the box spaghetti, this is really unprofessional and non aceptable that they put in a box something that is not what I ordered and also sealed in 10 layers of plastic.

Restaurant Villagio is the last restaurant located at Village of Merrick Park We have tried ALL of them and here my opinion about restaurant Villagio - The Meatballs was good - The tapanada was good (small plate of sauce - The Chicken Piccata was ok but not good - The pizza was NOT GOOD at all and tasteless - The Lemon Tart was average Overall it’s OK if you’re hungry and in the area and you don’t have a reservation This place will probably take you as walk in

Italian Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Dining Experience My recent visit to this Italian restaurant left much to be desired. I had high expectations for a memorable Italian meal, but unfortunately, it fell short on several fronts. Let's start with the food. We ordered classic dishes - chicken parmigiana, Alfredo pasta with chicken, and Alfredo pasta with shrimp. Sadly, the chicken in both dishes had a peculiar texture and flavor that didn't align with the expected quality. The Alfredo sauce lacked the rich, creamy taste that should accompany this Italian staple. For the prices charged, one would rightfully expect outstanding flavors, especially in these classic pasta dishes. The dining environment didn't fare much better. We were seated outdoors at a plastic table with a broken and wet tabletop. The lack of attention to detail here was concerning. While the service was adequate, it was surprisingly slow, especially considering that the restaurant was not overly busy. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. When patrons are paying a premium for Italian cuisine, they rightly expect not only exceptional flavors but also a comfortable and pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, this establishment did not meet these expectations. If you're seeking an authentic Italian dining experience, there are better options available elsewhere.

Sat at the bar, and Maikel Rivera was amazing. Ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken he suggested a side of pesto and it was the angels touch! Worth every penny and wait.

We ordered: one salmon and two white fishes. The salmon looks dry, my dad said that the flavor was OK. The two white fishes didn’t taste good. The fishes had on the top a lot is crumbles of bread, which was a terrible idea; if they idea was to make it crispy, this part was saggy. The flavor was too fishy. I didn’t finish my meal because I didn’t like it, neither my mom. They are dog friendly. The location is convenience if you are shopping at the Merrick park. Price is a little bit high for the quality of the food. The service is good, nothing special.

I’m surprised with the reviews on this restaurant. I went shopping a month ago and took some time to visit the restaurant. My experience was lovely. All the staff were welcoming, they took their time to explain the dishes, make recommendations and listen into what I was wanting. I had a memorable experience with the angel hair pasta with sautéed tomatoes. It was a light sauce, cooked to perfection. The dish bursted in my mouth with simple yet rich flavors. The sangria was the perfect match. I will definitely return.

The food was exquisite. I love Merrick Park. You can go shopping and restaurants. The ambiance was enjoyable and the service was excellent. The desserts are to die for.

A nice Italian place locates inside the mall with outdoor and indoor dining. I came here with a few family members and we share a few appetizers. Polpetta Di Mando is a homemade meatball topped with ricotta cheese in a tomato sauce. The meatball had a good taste pretty big and a good option to share after eating the meatball I will recommend dipping the bread with the sauce that is left. Calamari Fritti Con Zucchini is a deep-fried ring of calamari and French fried zucchini in a delicate marinara sauce, I really did not like the texture and taste of the calamari I will recommend not getting it. For my main course, Linguine Nettuno is Flat thin pasta served in an array of fresh seafood Fish, and tomato. the pasta was good and the amount of seafood was generous. The staff did a great job. the place is a big pricy but overall a good experience.

All it really needs is a some music flowing in the patio and it would be awsome. Overall great experience. Great food. Desserts could have been at a better temperature. Mango cheesecake was warm and the flavors went missing because of the temperature. Overall good experience. There’s an umbrella that needs to be looked into because every time they open the door they hit and it starts wobbling. From a safety point of view, this needs to be looked into.

I’m disappointed with my experience here. My 5 friends and I got together here last year for a holiday dinner. I don’t remember exactly what I had last year. I know it was a fish and it was good. Our waiter was also wonderful! This year however, I got the chicken piccata. It’s one of my favorite meals! I used to work and Macaroni Grill 30 years ago and I always got it. To be honest, it was much better there and half the price. The chicken at the Villagio was dry. The pasta was also dry and hard. It was like ordering this from IHOP. Quality was nonexistent. Sadly, our waitress was not as good as last year. She was ok. But not really friendly or anything. Last year we each tipped our waiter $100, on top of our bill. This year we left our bill with the gratuity that had already been added and felt that was sufficient. That being said all of our appetizers were good. We had the mushrooms, the burrata, and the calamari. Those were all gone and eaten up between the 6 of us. The wines were good and not horribly priced. I had a Sauvignon blanc. My friends had a Pinot Noir and a Cabernet. Two of my friends had the shrimp risotto. For one of my friends, it was inedible. She barely touched it. She didn’t like it at all! Another friend had the Marsala chicken. She said it was ok. Nothing great. My last two friends split the pepperoni pizza and still only ate half of it. Our bill was about $400, with tip included. I wouldn’t eat here again. We pass about 5 other restaurants that look and found delicious, on our way to this one. I think I’ll definitely try on of them next time.

I ordered the margarita pizza expecting a margarita pizza. Instead I got a cheese pizza that looks like it would be served at Chuck E Cheese. This pizza also gave me stomach problems that lasted into the next days. The bill for my 3 friends and I was way too high considering this place looks and feels like an Italian style Denny's.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING Went here to celebrate a special occasion and ordered Angel hair pasta with chicken. The chicken had no seasoning and the pasta tasted bland. As I was cheering I felt something extremely hard to the point I could not chew it so I pulled it out of my mouth only to reveal a STEEL wool piece from the sponges they use in the kitchen!! I immediately alerted the waitress and she apologized but NEVER once did the manager of the establishment come to give me an explanation nor an apology. The pasta was taken off the bill yet I believe much more should have been done ESPECIALLY when the steel could have been swallowed and lodged into my throat. If you do come here please chew carefully and bring salt to season. Below I provided pictures of the steel wool and pasta.

Conveniently located at the Merrick Park Shops, this restaurant offers indoor/outdoor dining. Service is impeccable. They have the friendliest and most attentive staff. Food and beverage are consistently delicious. Garage, street parking and valet available. We go there at least twice a month. Definitely check it out!

I was very upset when I was told that all they could serve me was pasta or as salad to accommodate my gluten allergy. How can a restaurant during a very quiet time at lunch not try to work with a customer to make their dining experience a pleasant one? A spoke with the manager and he was not any more helpful than the server. We will never be dining at this establishment again.

Words can’t express how delicious the food is at this restaurant. Highly recommend for those wanting a delicious meal and great service. Two thumbs up👍👍.

I ordered the veal chop from Villaggio. The veal chop was think. I also wanted extra vegetables instead of potatoes. I sat outside because this shopping area is nice in the afternoon. The food was good. The cause was good too. The broccoli tasted well on the veal sauce. Overall this was a good meal for a decent price in Coral Gables. The scenery was good and the menu has lots of options. I do recommend
