Excellent Poké bowls... Definitely the best I've had!

The moment you walk in to order, you are greeted by the staff who are excellent at recommending dishes to your liking. They go above and beyond to showing you what each plate contains. I was pleased that I found good for my little picky eater who doesnt like raw food. The chicken buns were a hit and the spicy tuna poke bowl was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

I love this place. I started ordering their bowls a while back ago. I feel like the way they put the sauces keeps changing? I used to get a drizzle of sauce and then some on the side. NOW, when I order the kimchi bowl they put a soup of soy at the bottom and then drizzle the kimchi on the top. My mouth is burning from the amount of sodium I am eating, but there's no time to order anything else. Check this out:

Ive been to many poke restaurants all over Florida and so far this is the worst. 1st the rice was hard and undercooked. 2nd the salmon tasted weird like metal I could say. The spicy mayo is off does not taste like spicy mayo. 3rd they where missing most of the ingredients every other poke usually has, no imitation crab ( she said they had some yesterday) no crab salad no diced chicken no tofu, no Edamame shredded carrots, Masago just to name a few. Overall worst poke bowl I’ve ver had. They do have great customer service though.

What happened to db's spicy ahi tuna??? I just ordered from the website and the custom bowl I made was good but I was looking for db's signature bow, what happened to it? not on the menu anymore?

The best Poké and Bao i ever try so far, no exaggerating. A very fresh and relaxed offer in Coral Gables. Healthy tasty food and good beer too.

Everything was great. The server was very patient and made recommendations as we order. We sat outside and everything was brought out to us as it was ready. The fish tacos was our favorite dish. I also loved the shaved bonito on the brussel sprouts. I have had a lot of tangy brussel sprouts and often they are drenched in the sauce. There's was not. Well done.

Found this little gem via Yelp. It is in this converted street plaza that's currently under construction so it and a lot of other food places can be easily missed but I'm glad we found it. For starters, the tempura fries are a must. They have an excellent tempura batter and come with a mix of string beans and carrots. They have a slight red pepper seasoning and come with a mayo sauce dip. Again these were addictive and tasty. For our bowls, we picked up a salmon bowl and a crispy white fish. They were both excellent and the wasabi mayo that came with the salmon bowl was excellent. Props for putting the sauce on the side for the crispy white fish to preserve the crunchy batter texture. For good measure, we also picked up two bao tacos that were also great tasting. Again, if we lived in Miami, we would probably stop here often as the fish was fresh and delicious, and the closest we have to it in California is one of the many make your own poke bowl places that are popping up in our region. I would choose this place over those just because how good the tempura fries were.

Poke fever is on the rise in Miami and this place was highly recommended by Yelp friends so I decided to go here for lunch with my coworkers. Besides the usual poke bowls, this place also offers Bao Buns and several enticing apps. We started with the Crispy Rice Tuna (chopped yellowfin tuna served on house-made crispy rice). The tuna was fresh and the rice was similar to rice krispies but not sweet. For the main course, we all opted for the Db's Spicy Ahi Tuna (furikake rice, yellowfin tuna mixed with masago mayo, sesame seeds, topped with avocado and red onions). The ingredients were very fresh, tasty semi-sweet combo with a touch of spicy kick. We also got the Tempura Fries for sides. Wow! These beer battered veggies were on point. We should've ordered another round. Service was professional and swift. Guests can also watch food being prep at the open kitchen. It's not the cheapest option for a quick lunch. $13 for Poke and $4 avg for buns or apps but the food again, was very fresh so this splurge is justified :)

I come here religiously. Whenever you get a pokebowl from here ask for avocado!! It literally sends you to heaven. The ingredients are always fresh and amazing. The staff is so nice and helpful everytime with recommendations. My favorite is the lava bowl with avocado. See you next time ❤️!

I love poke, but this was different. Spicy mayo tasted more like regular mayo. And fish (tuna and salmon) while both looked good and fresh, were completely tasteless. Service was great they just need to figure out the food. Sad to leave a bad review.

This is my go to spot for lunch when I’m in the office. The fish is always fresh and the portions are a good size. The spicy salmon bowl is the best.

2 out of 5 stars only because of the price. The food bowls are actually not that big and one bowl and a side order will take you up to a $20 meal for a place that has more of a 'healthy fast-food' vibe than a 'sit down restaurant'. An order of a main plus a side also leaves me a bit hungry. You can have a big cooked to perfection steak or grilled salmon just a few yards from this place, good quality Thai food, Pho, etc, for a slightly lower price. Dear PokeBao team, the food is great but it would be nice if you review your prices.
