Jaguar restaurant has a great atmosphere and it's a pleasure to spend time there. That's what actually got us there. However it all fell apart when we went there for dinner. Service was subpar, the servers couldn't figure out who was responsible for our table. We had picanha adobada, which was not the best, comparable to chewing leather. Given the size of the menu and prices you'd expect everything on the menu to be exceptional. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Finally, the restaurant is unique in a way that it produces and sells a line of their own sauces. However, when asked for some to sample, it made it's way to our bill.

Loved this place. Food was perfect and the service was very very good. Very open feeling and the plants are a great touch as well. They’re from the shop down the street which sells this unique way of “potting”. I’ll be back!

My wife and I have been coming to Jaguar almost every Saturday (and days in between) since 2013. The ownership and staff are like family and treat us that way. The food is tasty, creative, consistent, reasonably priced, and diverse in its offerings from ceviche to street tacos to perfectly grilled fresh fish. I have never had a bad meal, and, I must say, Chef Oscar totally stepped up his game during and after Covid thus earning even more of our respect and loyalty. He even has us try new additions he is planning to add to the menu. Love that! The two managers, George and Paul, NEVER disappoint. It's always a pleasure to see them and they ALWAYS take the time to not only pay attention to us, but ask us about family, etc. Finally, Chef's dad, who pops in for lunch most Saturdays we are there, always comes by to say hi. Come check it out. One of our fave neighborhood spots!! Jose and Hazel

Jaguar has been a permanent place in the Grove for a while but we had never been. Today we came in without reservations and the place was fairly full (it was early) and they sat us without problems. We opted for the Miami Spice menu and my husband and I had different plates from it. OMG! Delicious! From the apps to the dessert it was an explosion of flavors. Edgar our waiter was amazing. Really attentive and welcoming. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and I loved the vibe! We will definitely come back and try more from their regular menu. 100% recommend this great place!

This is an upscale mexican restaurant and the food was amazing! We followed the recommendations from the bartender and were not disappointed. Loved the atmosphere, calm, and relaxing with dim lighting. Loved the freshly made tortillas as well.

Absolutely loved this place. We ended up being there for happy hour and the drinks were half off which we loved. Also they poured heavy which again is amazing. Food was absolutely to die for, get the quinoa with the octopus, TRUST ME. The dish that just look like a bowl of cheese…oh my god it is so good, if you are a cheese lover DEFINITELY GET IT.

I came to Miami from Chicago to celebrate my son's birthday. He found Jaguars and was a great find. The food, drinks and service were great, and the ambiance. I will definitely be back on my next visit. My son had the Salmon Norma he ate it so fast I didn't get to try it 😋😄next time. I highly recommend this place.

This place is amazing! The food is excellent and the customer service is unmatched. We had a very large party celebrating a birthday and we were accommodated in every way possible. They went above and beyond and be sure to ask for the server Joey, he is the absolute best!! Thank you Jaguar Restaurant for a superior dining experience

Amazing food but restaurant too big to fully function smoothly. Under outdated interior design, we were seated over an hour before they brought us food. The octopus and churrasco were well grilled. The tacos were decent too.

Very tasty and delicious food, you can grab top plates from different Latin-American countries: classic corvina ceviches with good price and option to order only half portion, we also tried the black market ceviche which was my favorite with a yellow sauce similar to leche de Tigre. The picanha was tender and cooked as we ordered came with some veggies also grilled and very nice served. We also tried the pork tacos, they are huge we could not finished them! The cilantro soup for soup lovers can be a great starter!

Really good food from all of Latin America. The only bad thing is the don’t give you those delicious chips anymore. They used to give them complimentary. Such a pity. But overall a good service and tasty dishes.

This was my first time here and my husband and I are obsessed! The service was great. They recommended the black market ceviche which was the best we’ve ever had that we ordered a second one! I got the steak tacos which were 11/10 and my husband got the chicken fried rice. We can’t wait to come back!

I visited Jaguar for my anniversary. Both George and Paul made this experience one to remember! The drinks, food, ambiance & customer service were exceptional. I made a special anniversary request which they delivered on and George also did an amazing job with helping us explore the menu!

We’ve been here several tienes over the course of the last two years since we moved and this place is top notch! My favorites are the steak tacos and the picanha with the salad that had the jalapeño sauce. The flan is AMAZING. The margaritas, delicious. We were happy to see they offer their amazing merken sauce for sale. Our server Daniela was really nice, Eduardo gave us great recommendations, the managers Paul and George made us feel so welcomed. We love coming here. One of the best places in the area. Never disappoints! 💕

Perfect place for date night or a casual meal. The staff is absolutely wonderful and will always have something good to recommend. The service is also incredible - sit with Andres at the bar!

I had the pleasure of dining at Jaguar Restaurant recently, and I must say that the service provided by Manager Paul was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, he ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of outstanding. Paul's attention to detail and his commitment to customer satisfaction were truly remarkable. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and preferences, making us feel like valued guests. The impeccable service and warm, welcoming atmosphere created by Paul and our waiter Kevin enhanced our overall dining experience. I highly recommend Jaguar Restaurant for its outstanding service, thanks to Manager Paul's dedication to ensuring guests have a memorable time.

Overall a good dinner. We tried different things, fish, meat etc and consistency of the dishes was pretty good, everything tasted good, nothing spectacular but solid. Inside the place is a little bit too loud and outside it really depends where you sit (you're on the sidewalk). Service was good, not too much, just right. We dined here a total of 4 times and we consider the place a "safe dinner location" = no bad surprises! If I could give 4.5 stars I would.

Loved this restaurant in the Coconut Grove neighborhood. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful. I left this restaurant with a new found appreciation for Peruvian food. I would even come back for the desserts alone!! I couldn’t help but get a three coarse meal and a coffee in the middle of the day. And to add the manager was kind!

I order a "BIG" ceviche. To star of big it has nothing. And then they fill it up with 1/3 od it just pure onions and corn. The actual seafood was just 1/3. For the price and amount of seafood on it ITS NOT WORTH IT. Total disappointment. First and last time at this restaurant. And of course I wont recommend it. As you can see in the picture by the size of the fork as reference... the size of the plate. That would be a great portion for a appetizer but definitely not for a main dish.

The place was very nice and the service very good. They have happy hour starting at 4pm and drinks are half price. the quinoa salad was delicious, the octopus sauces too but the bitter taste of some parts that were more golden came out a chin. The princes are reasonable

Great first time experience. I was in and out, kinda in a rush but beautiful place and amazing customer service. The young girl was worked the front at 3pm today's date was awesome! I had the 3 pork tacos and it was so delicious!!

Excellent food. Black Market Ceviches was excellent. The grilled Picanha Adobada was beautifully charred and cooked to perfection. The chimichurri sauce was superb. Great service and the food came out fast despite a full restaurant on a busy Friday night. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Amazing! The guac has a twist in flavor and it’s very unique, the croquets are probably the best one I ever had! The entree (forgot the name) was flavorful and the seafood is fresh, the salmon on top is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The dish is a little heavy though The Argentinian steak is also amazing. The sauce is very flavorful. The staffs are great, ambient is cool, the bill is on the expensive side but I had a lot of fun with each dish

Great food, even better staff! From the moment we walked in we were greeted kindly, attentive waiter, I left my phone behind and they took care of it until I was able to go back and pick it up. I highly recommend it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This used to be a great, I mean great restaurant. Now it's just another average place with bad service. The octopus was so hard I couldn't chew on it. Decent taste but almost like a piece of rubber. The rest of the food was very good. The one suggestion, don't force an 18% tip on a party when the service deserves a 2% tip. The waiter was non existent. A simple how's the food will get you the feedback you don't want to hear. Probably will never go back again.

Stopped by here during happy hour for some ceviche and drinks. Extremely well priced during happy hour, cocktails were strong and tasty and only $6. Tried one of the spicy ceviche options, and it was incredible, on par with ones I’ve had in Costa Rica and Peru.

Unbelievably amazing restaurant....Server Sébastien and manager George on point 10/10.. Now food (we tried 4 different ceviches) if I could give more than a perfect I definitely would...simply the best Xtra plus point....very dog friendly .. Can't wait to come back

We are from Austin, Texas and stumbled upon this restaurant. EXTREMELY FRIENDLY STAFF. Hands down the highlight of our meal. All of our plates had such flavor and their own unique profiles. Gilberto and Federico are lovely! Recommend asking for both when you come try:)

I was in the mood of taking the family somewhere chill and stylish so decided to come here. It was a great choice! We were greeted with smiles and our waiter Gilberto was extraordinary! He had great suggestions and was funny and very attentive. The food also was delicious and you can taste the freshness of the fish, the vegetables of all the ingredients. For example my mother ordered the Quinoa salad with salmon and I tried some of hers and it was like having a tropical oasis in my mouth. Great combination of the mango with the quinoa etc. Also the tuna nikkei was different utilizing pumpkin seeds, leche de jaguar and it really isn't spicy but jalapeños was mild. Overall the experience starting from entering the establishment till the end of our meals was stupendous. Would definitely come back and hope that Gilberto is there too.
