It’s decent, nothing to write home about. The lunch special boxes are good, but quite greasy, not so fresh. The crab I think is krab, imitation. Service was great, atmosphere is great but the food for the price is so so.

This is a $22+ “king crab” roll. This is NOT king crab. More like king KRAB. What a scam! Tastes disgusting and clearly not the real thing. Fake food and fake advertising. Also, the online menu says it’s 18.95 but in person it’s over $22. Definitely don’t recommend this place.

I have been going to Sakura for 20 years! I started going as a Freshman at UM and I’m now going back with my own family. It has stayed fresh, so delicious, consistent and the owners are the most wonderful people! I LOVE coming back. It’s my first stop from the airport as I now live in London! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Truly a great restaurant and even better service. Food at Sakura surpassed my expectations. I came here trying to find a new Japanese (sushi) restaurant in my area to have some more options and in my first try I think I found it. Sakura has great sushi and rolls. Well... that is all I have tried for now, but I will be coming back to try other things. Service was excellent it was friendly and it was attentive, never intrusive. Restaurant decor could definitely improve but as long as they keep food this good I don't care about restaurant appearance that much. I will be back soon for sure.

I've been meaning to try this place for the past 9 months since we moved to Coral Gables. We ordered a dragon roll, a lobster roll, cucumber roll, an avocado roll and a shrimp fied rice. All the rolls were tasteless and the lobster roll had ridiculously high amounts of lettuce. The shrimps in the rice were not deveined. It was a true disappointment considering the price. Not worth it.

Been coming here for years! So good! I’ve gotta say that this place is amazing from the quality of the fish and other ingredients to the service, this place is top notch!! Would recommend getting the Atlan roll and the Ko Ko Ru roll as you see in the pictures both are my favorites!

I do like the food in the place and the menu is very large and varied but I do think the price is a bit high for what it is. My personal recommendation is to get a large plate and share or try one of their kitchen plate as they are bigger. Overall worth the visit but I do wish it was a little cheaper.

Sakura was a wonderful experience! The food, atmosphere, service, all were amazing. You realize why it's survived for so many years once you walk in and experience the restaurant. It was awesome, will definitely go back and recommend it to others!

Spectacular food ! We have visited several times and wow ! Plus it is not expensive. We love the really Japanese cooks & owner . The place is cozy and you can even watch tv matches here!

Fresh, Fresh, Fresh fish delivered daily. Outstanding Sushi Chefs traditionally trained. I have eaten here almost every week for 18 years. Everything on the menu is prepared fresh. In a word, this place is OUTSTANDING!!!

Excellent, local spot which never disappoints. It’s been there forever. They have really good lunch specials for around $15 or less, and food comes out quickly. It’s definitely the sort of place only people from Miami know, and you’d almost miss it if you weren’t paying attention. A real plus about them is that unlike most restaurants in the area, they have a large parking lot with free parking.

This is my favorite restaurant in the country. It’s authentic, delciious, easy, comfortable, and just perfect. I cannot say enough good things. To me this is the perfect restaurant. The moose roll is my go to but my husband who doesn’t eat sushi swears by the chicken katsu. Everything I’ve ever ordered is perfect. I just love this place very much.

We were invited by friends and this restaurant is their favorite Japanese place. Enjoyed the sushi boat!

Average fair with some hit and misses. Unfortunately almost all sushi places make their rolls without adequate vinegar in the rice so it’s bland. Wait staff is very friendly but I did not enjoy most of the dishes especially the green scallions pancake which was mushy instead of a nice crispy tortilla dish. Dry udon was flavorful. Thai donuts was only ok. Presentation is pretty though. My sister liked her rolls. I came back a second time but it still didn’t work out for me. Only sushi roll I enjoyed was from a Japanese restaurant in San Francisco. So the search continues for a good one in Miami.

The food was a average and very expensive for what was served. A glass of mediocre red wine was $13.00, a 7 piece appetizer of regular sashimi $26.00. The dining area is outdated and not well taken care off. I would not recommend.

I had to make myself dinner at home after ordering from this place and receiving an incomplete order plus the tiniest yellowtail roll I’ve ever seen, seriously not even an inch big. I call the restaurant and the guy’s like “oh… uhm… I can give you the roll you didn’t receive plus an extra one just come pick it up” 🙃 if I was gonna drive there with my kids I would have saved the delivery fees and tip. Never ordering from this place again.

SURPRISINGLY OVERRATED. I went to try this place because its rating was very high and i had the worst Sashimi and sushi of my life. Tasteless, bad service, and an incredibly tasteless sushi maki. I ordered a Sakura chef selection board - it was BAD! I told them about it. No reaction :D Not recommended and I won’t go back.
