As always, Salumeria 104 never disappoints. This is not your typical Italian restaurant, so if you’re looking for carbonara, Alfredo or spaghetti and meatballs, this is not the place for you. However, if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with freshly made pasta, delicious prosciutto and Salumi boards, and extraordinary specials, this is the place for you! We came here to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. For appetizers we had the prosciutto board with Salumi and bresaola which was so fresh and flavorful. We also had my favorite, the fried green tomato and burrata. The tomato was nice and firm and not greasy. The burrata was nice and creamy. So good! The birthday girl ordered the caca e pepe, which is made in the Parmesan cheese wheel and was so delicious! Creamy, flavorful and al dente. My husband ordered the branzino and it was so delicious. A bit small but we are accustomed to the American portions! Lol I ordered the prosciutto ravioli, notice a pattern??, with brown butter and sage. I cleaned the plate. It was all delicious. And the tiramisu is very good… and I usually don’t like tiramisu. 100% recommend. The service was also fabulous. Angelo the server (not to be confused with Angelo the chef) was amazing and he too is Italian!

I went for lunch with my wife and a friend, looking for an authentic italian meal in town. Food was absolutely exceptional as well as the overall experience, truly similar to an italian restaurant in Italy (I am italian). Unfortunately, the girl that served us was a little bit cold and unfriendly with us, ruining a little the warm and welcoming feeling that an italian place should always convey. That was truly disappointing to me :/

Salud to Salumeria 104. We had a special dinner and the service was above grade. We started with the salami and cheese tray. There was plenty for the four of us. We had four salami selections as one came with the wine. We also had four cheeses for a good variety. The grilled octopus ($19) was moist and cooked perfectly. The Branzino ($29) comes with two fillets and lettuce/tomato salad. It was very favorable. The Milanese ($28) was a little dry and just ok. The standout was the spaghetti in butter, oil and cheese with truffles. I have to go back for the gnochhi. The panna cotta was delicious and the wine selection is large. Your salami tray will run $30 and cheese selection $25. Your first course runs $18 to $22 with the second course $26 to $34. .

The restaurant was cozy. There was Italian music playing but it wasn't too loud so you can enjoy it while you're eating and you can also talk and be heard. The service was friendly and kept on checking on us. The food was delicious! The bread was definitely baked there. It was soft and toasted to perfection. The smell of the bread was absolutely devine. The presentation was great and the food was flavorful. The whole experience really transports you to Italy.

If you’re looking for a nice Italian restaurant, this is the place for it. They have different types of pastas and the food we had was delicious, including the tiramisu. I also loved the vibes of the restaurant, it’s cool and cozy.

Very good food and service. Table of 6 during the week, we were treated well by our waitress. The pork chop special they had that evening was very good, perfectly cooked. We also had some tiramisu which was good too.

Title: Excellent Service, Bad Food I recently dined at Salumeria in the Gables ], and while the service was exceptional, I found the food to be somewhat disappointing. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the staff provided attentive and friendly service. They were prompt in seating me and took the time to explain the menu, making helpful recommendations along the way. The waitstaff consistently checked in to ensure I had everything I needed and were knowledgeable about the dishes. However, when it came to the food, I must say I was underwhelmed. While the presentation was visually somewhat appealing, the taste did not match up to my expectations. The flavors lacked depth, and some dishes were undercooked or lacked seasoning. It was evident that more attention could have been given to the quality of ingredients and the execution of the recipes. Despite the food not living up to its potential, the excellent service made the dining experience enjoyable. The staff's professionalism and attentiveness were the highlights of my visit. In conclusion, while Salumeria Gables offers good service, I hope they focus more on enhancing the flavors and quality of their dishes. With some improvements in the culinary aspect, this restaurant has the potential to provide an exceptional dining experience overall.

Don’t hesitate, this place is amazing, 5 star service, the food is simply exquisite. 100% recommended! Thank you Ruben for taking care of our table so well.

The restaurant provided a fantastic dining experience with its great atmosphere. Matilda, our server, was perfect—she took the time to explain the day's menu in detail and was accommodating with the kids' menu. I truly loved this place. The food was excellent, offering quality dishes at reasonable prices. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Miami.

I went yesterday for lunch and the first thing I saw was the great environment they have in this place. The owner (Alessandra) was super friendly, she made me feel like one of her friends. The food was delicious; I ordered pasta a la bolognese with mashed potatoes. Let me tell you, it was a great experience. I definitely recommend this restaurant for casual dinner and event more for special occasions.

Disappointing. Octopus tough as a rubber hose. Either that or actually uncooked. Returned it and they wanted to charge me for a meager board of mortadella. Figuriamici. The maitre argued with me. Patronizing me. Very unpleasant experience. Spiacente. Also incredibly noisy.

Adorable place. Food and Service were excellent. We loved the Cacio Pepe and Almond cake. We have been to several of the many Italian places in Coral Gables and this was far and above the best and most authentic. Very close to places we at in when visiting Rome. Try it here - you won't regret it!

We went to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday night with our son and wife. Very loud place and the food was not good at all…it tasted like it was store bought. The lasagna was awful, the mashed potatoes tasted as if they were made from a box. The dessert was scarce and not very tasty. Quite pricey for the type of ambiance and food. The only good thing was our server, Julio. Do yourself a favor and go to another restaurant.

I chose to have supper here by random selection as I walked down the stretch and Salumeria 104 definitely did not disappoint! The waiter was extremely friendly and he was very patient as I decided what I wanted. He thoroughly explained each dish and helped me to decide based on things I told him I like. The fettuccine pasta was amazing! Hot and freshly made. It was different and had its own unique flavor. When’re I visit town again I will be back! One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve encountered in a while.

True neighborhood gem. The food is exceptional. The dishes are as tasty as fancier Italian places but the atmosphere is much more laid back, like a bistro. The hostess and staff are super friendly, and the homemade pastas are all really delicious with great Al dente texture. Their bread is made in house too and comes out hot.

Best Italian restaurant. Food is exquisite. The service is above average. The prices are very reasonable. Went twice a week when I was in Miami.

This place is not good at all. I ordered the Bistecca and they asked how I wanted it cooked. I told them medium rare and they served it to me well done. The potatoes tasted stale and was not cooked well. Also ordered dessert and was served a dirty spoon. I asked for another spoon and they gave me another dirty one. You would think someone would check utensils before you make the same mistake again. Overall, not that great Italian food for a high price.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Service was pretty good though, however food was terrible and expensive. I asked for Spaguetti alle Vongole and I couldn't eat it. Unsalted, no flavor at all. Making this pasta is not that hard. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Best Italian place I ever tried. The pasta was delicious, so light. The tiramisu was good and light but the Almond cake was extremely delicious! Definitely recommend!

Great place for a nice dinner. Prosciutto and cheese board is a must start off plate . Caccio de pepe is very good , I heard they have great deals Monday's on pasta dishes The spaghetti bolognaesa Is excellent, I usually don't like many red pasta Sauces in restaurants , but theirs is very good. This place doesn't disappoint, you feel satisfied and price is very good compared to other places. Definitely will be coming back!

Amazing experience. I highly recommend Salumeria 104 if you’re looking for genuine Italian. I’ve dined here a few times and each time the food, service and ambiance was excellent. The restaurant is right on miracle mile, you can dine outside or in where it’s very charming and cozy. They offer a variety of items on the menu, including a good selection of wines. All of the pasta is house-made and exceptional. As starters, we’ve had the trio of prosciutto, mortadella and pecorino tartufo. The prosciutto servings were delicious and generous, the truffle pecorino was incredibly good. From the pastas, I highly recommend the house-made taglioni Neri with wild shrimp, it is just unbelievably delicious and outstanding. For dessert the tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had and one portion can easily be shared by two.

Good food, attention to detail from the servers: mehhhh. ordered wine , waiter poured and when we were ready to cheer, one of my friends noticed that his glass had a lipstick stain which is fine as no washing machine works perfect, when called the waiter to point to the problem he was prompt to take away the dirty glass and brought and empty one, we asked about replacing the wine he already served which appears to have annoyed him, brough the original back from the kitchen glass and verted the content on the new one ...wait what ??? all went to hell from there ... asked for additional bread in several occasions and they brought after us being nagging them... won't come back

Good quality produce, well cooked, and excellent service. Angelo is very personable and knowledgeable; ask for his advice and you won't be disappointed. I had the spaghetti with bottarga, which was excellent.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Miami. Outstanding pasta and great overall experience. Very authentic with everything made from scratch. The lasagna is so amazing that I keep ordering it every other day. Fantastic specials for mondays 5-10pm 10$ pastas. Go check it out!

SALUMERIA 104 is one of our favorite restaurants for authentic Italian food. We have tried all of its location and have never been so far disappointed. We always go there with the best intentions of “not eating so much like last time” but… that never happens! The bread and breadsticks (my favorites) they bring you while you wait for the meal disappear well before the food arrives. We always start with an appetizer of cheese and/or (mostly) “salumi”, then have a “primo” or a “secondo”. I love all of their “primi”, while my favorite “secondi” are the “Milanese”, “Porchetta” and “Scottadito”. And if they have their home-made Almond Cake that day… I really can’t refuse it with my espresso, no matter how full I am. They also have a good selection of wines, but we always go for their House Wine, which has the best quality/value ratio. And if you want, you can buy salumi, cheeses and olives by the pound to bring home. I see that some have complained about the high prices: although they have increased, we still find them to be very reasonable instead, plus: the cuisine is authentic and the portions are big. But maybe our opinion is affected by the fact that we live in PBC, where restaurant prices are much higher, even if the cuisine is not truly authentic. They also have a small outdoor dining patio, the staff is nice and we always enjoy our chats with Angelo! And the restaurant is right on the Miracle Mile, which is great for a walk after the meal (in winter time). The only negative part is the street parking, which may be difficult to find in busy seasons and is not free.

The only good thing was the prosciutto and truffle cheese. Customer service good. The meats I asked medium, and they gave to me medium rare, which is fine anyway, in the picture looks good, but the taste is like a cheap meat, and the potatoes didn't have any flavor. Too bad for 160$ dinner , that I wasn't able to digest after 3 hours .
