10/06/2023 This spot used to be an icon of the Spaniard restaurant in Miami. Different owners change what I consider the soul and environment of the business. However, the food I had was standard and good taste, like Boqueron en Vinagre and artichoke with ham. The Callos was cold at the time was served but the taste was not as expected. The restaurant was empty at the time I arrived, but full at the time I left. I consider they are a little bit of pricing for lunch time. 07/20/2023 Service is a big portion of the experience when a restaurant is visited and acts extremely friendly, which is not always good. We as customers deserve professionalism, and this is the reason for tips paid. Food all dishes were overcook except for the boquerones that are raw fish plates. Price remains the same as usual with perfect combination with the peoples and environment. Please. Don't forget this is a traditional Spanish restaurant in Miami. 05/11/2023 First impressions really bad, the restaurant was totally empty and host with attitude. Food ok, I had boquerones, artichokes w ham and grilled Corvina. All good products at a correct price. As mentioned before, the restaurant empty and today they had 20% discount on wine. But pay attention to your bill. Just in case. Sorry, but my expectations dropped down with the experience having lunch. The spot is nice and cozy. The food needs to improve to have the quality of this restaurant. But service is a mess. More than 1 hour waiting to be attended and asking for the tap.

I was on the restaurant, the food was horrible, the calamari with a lot of grease, after we finish we bought a tarta santiago for a gift, they put it on a aluminium tray, horrible and then I realized it doesn't fit, so see the picture bellow. I don't recommend the place at all

Wonderfully authentic Spaniard food. We enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon family dinner. Their wine selection is top-notch! The Tarta De Santiago with Turrón Ice cream was decadently delicious. Their market made it easy to take a few items back home. Excellent service, too; the staff was very attentive.

the outdoor seating area is nice. the food was great and the portion is satisfying. definitely recommend the octopus leg and paella. sangria was a little bit too watery for me. almond desert is okay but worth to try. will go back and try more tapas.

It was my first time visiting the restaurant, and believe me, it is the best Spanish restaurant I’ve been to. The service was great. I ordered chuleta de buey…great taste and super soft meat. My son and husband ordered paella and solomillo. For desert, we had turron icecream. DELICIOUS! We were all extremely pleased with service and quality of food.I do not understand why the negative reviews. Kudos to all the staff from Xixon. 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great food, great service, traditional Spanish restaurant. The best Spanish restaurant I have found so far in Miami! Will be back. Everything was delicious. Secreto paella could be better.

Excellent Spanish food restaurant with a wide variety of wines, exquisite food and attention, the interior design is in levels and has a large terrace where they present a good flamenco tablao. It also has a small place where you can buy a wide variety of Spanish products. The prices are very good and the presentation of the tables is spectacular. It has valet parking.

Food is always delicious and the ambiance is nice. The servers are also kind but Carlos was very attentive and welcoming during our last visit. Best Spanish food in the area and reasonably priced.

Xixón is the staple of Spanish food in Miami. I make sure I come here a few times a year for reliably great Spanish food. We are not a big fan of the paellas here, so we always come for the tapas, the sangria and the flamenco. We recommend ordering 2-3 tapas per person, but make sure not to order all at once! Our favorite tapas are the Pulpo a la Gallega, the Gambas al Ajillo and the Txipirones Rellenos. When you book a table, ask for outside on the weekends—this is where the life music and flamenco happens.

Introduction: Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Xixon, a Spanish restaurant located in Coral Gables. While the ambiance was quiet and unremarkable, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. The restaurant is pet-friendly, which is a plus for dog owners looking for a place to dine with their furry friends. Ambience: The ambiance at Xixon was quiet, but nothing special. However, we appreciated that the restaurant was pet-friendly and were able to bring our dogs with us to the outdoor seating area. Food: The food at Xixon was excellent, starting with the Croquetas of Queso Manchego and the ones with Jamon Serrano. They were flavorful and delicious. The meat paella was also exceptional, although it was advertised as a dish for two people, it was enough to feed more than two. We highly recommend trying the meat paella at Xixon, it's a must-try for anyone who loves Spanish cuisine. Drinks: We ordered the white sangria, which was average. While it was good, it wasn't the best we've had in town. Conclusion: Overall, Xixon is a must-visit for anyone looking for excellent Spanish cuisine in Coral Gables. The food was outstanding, the staff was friendly, and the pet-friendly atmosphere was a plus. While the ambiance was nothing special, the quality of the food makes up for it. We highly recommend trying the Croquetas and meat paella.

Seems like an upscale Spanish restaurant. I have no complaints about the food other than the fried calamari was REALLY greesy. My server was top notch. They had a live performer, but he was in the outdoor area

Loved this place! Cannot say enough. My mom is from Spain and we know authentic Spanish food. This place is a gem. We had the pulpo a la gallega, seafood paella with Maine lobster and the house desert. I highly recommend and will be back soon!

I'm giving 3 for courteousness of the host and the setting of the restaurant. We stopped for a quick bite after a concert. Parking off the street. Ordered a Sangria, didn't like it. The shrimp and the hot bread were good, but look at the fries on the other dish...seriously? The cheese board...same. Lack of presentation on every dish. I was expecting better.

What a wonderful place to take a quick back to Spain, with so many tasty options and remarkable service. I will be back to get more! No wonder why they are always busy, however, everything came to the table in the best quality. Highly recommend this place.
