Very disappointed, beautiful entertainment but terrible paella and the worse black rice ever… too much calamari sauce ended in too salty and could not have it. Where were you Felipe this evening 16 of January 2022. Your cooker are letting you very down. Thanks god you have one of the greatest flamenco singer, good guitarist and a good flamenco dancer.

We are visiting from Dallas and I could say that this is the most authentic paella we have tried. The ambience has a real spanish feel .The owner was very friendly and offered guidance when it was needed. Plus we got to meet Chef Felipe. Overall a wonderful experience.

Cozy restaurant with good food that made me feel transported to Spain. Pros: hole in the wall, authentic Spanish atmosphere and food, kind greetings from staff and owner. Cons: bit of a strange location, a little bit expensive I’d recommend this space for an occasion when you wan to enjoy some wine and tapas with friends/family when you want to take your time and enjoy

Such a cute gem in Calle Ocho (borderline). First of all, their wine list is EXTENSIVE. This is a great place for socializing and catching up over hours of wine. Decor is really cute too. So many references to Spain and Europe in general. To start, we were served with tasty warm and fresh bread. Then the food kept coming... I enjoyed their piping hot garlic shrimp. I liked how their spicy potatoes were crisp and not greasy, could have used more heat though. House wine was great. Galacian octopus was delish. Their meat and cheese platter did leave me wanting more though. We discovered they host flamenco dance shows Thurs-Sat at 8 pm. Also Sunday, but I think the times at 7 pm. I'm interested in attending at least one show. Their chef/owner is so nice too! There is parking on the premise but also street parking nearby (across the street might feel sketch at night since it's under the bridge). The cons I would say is that overall the plates are a bit more expensive than what I'm used to for Tapas. I think it's because of the flamenco show costs might be rolled into it? Also, they don't have pan con tomate which is like sadness. I'd say it's worth giving a try. Next time i want to try their paella. Reservations recommended for flamenco night.

I am almost "regular" in this place, which I consider the best spanish cuisine restaurant in Miami! All you eat there is simply delicious!! Prices in Tapas are very reasonable because of the size dish is pretty much generous, I hope they continue like that...the main dishes are a little bit expensive but it is worthy ! last night I took my family (we were 6) all of them were so happy with the quality of the food. service is good. The place is nice, very colorful ( spanish style decoration). They have valet parking or if you are lucky, you can find parking space in the street. As always, i highly recommend it!!

There is no better Spanish restaurant in Miami than this hidden little gem. My best friend invited me to enjoy a birthday dinner and I couldn't have a better B-day celebration than the one I had here. The food is incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and typical. The staff is super professional. Each selection we made was better than the previous one but I have my preferences. Top 1: lobster bisque. You cannot leave without trying that delicacy of the gods. 2- garbanzos Fritos: the best I've had. 3- any kind of croquetas. You are gonna dye with them. I wanna eat here every day for the rest of my life, honestly. I'll be back soon for sure

Great place for a relaxing talking time. The restaurant is nice with a beautiful traditional decoration. The staff is very professional and will make everything possible to accommodate you and delivery the best service. The warm welcome from the owner makes this restaurant special and makes every customer feel appreciated. The menu includes a great variety of the very known traditional food. It is overall expensive, but the lunch menu represents a great choice with a good price. The food has a great presentation and very special taste that really makes you feel in Spain. Having spanish roots (Añel family from Galicia) and being risen in Cuba link myself to the culture even when I try not to. I think there is something they may need to improve and is the waiting time. The restaurant was not busy and I waited 40 min for the appetizer and the food came immediately after the appetizer, got me not hungry so I have to take it home. Overall I spent 2 hrs in the restaurant, however not always we have that time for lunch. I think I will try this place for dinner, probably much better. On my opinion is the place to enjoy a great company and a conversation being plenty of time. Overall an excellent experience.

Food here it’s amazing but what really made the different it’s the staff and the chef who goes table by table asking how was the food. This is what I call personalized service. We loved it so much. Must try CROQUETAS & HUEVOS ROTOS.

This place is straight fire! 3 course lunch for $20. All 3 courses were absolutely delicious. I lived in Spain for 2 years and this place captures the Spanish essence. Excellent ambience, nothing extravagant, simply quality Spanish food. Will be back!

Hidden gem! After trying many Spanish restaurants, we were so happy to find one that was truly authentic. The food was delicious and a great portion. Felipe, the owner, took the time to circulate the restaurant. He was friendly, entertaining, and added to our great experience at the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Great place and Great service. We loved the attention and the owner/cheff was very kind. The food was delicious and the live music and dancing show was an original example of the Spanish culture.

One of the reviewers called it a GEM…. That’s exactly what this restaurant is!! Amazing!! The food, the service, the ambiance, especially the visit from the chef and the owner! Small, quaint, delicious! Great for a private event! Nowadays where good restaurant service and food is hard to find, this restaurant gives it all! Congratulations!

Found this hidden gem and it was amazing! We were surprised by a super cool flamenco show and had such a blast. The chef and owner Felipe was a gracious host. He is so charismatic and loves taking care of his guests. The food and the service were both amazing. We will be back.

Great service. My 93 year old grandma loves going there. Awesome service, very welcoming restaurant. They always make you feel at home, and the waitress, the one with black hair and glasses she is excellent. Give them 👏 a 10+

Since we stepped in the service was phenomenal and the food great, the croquetas were great and I don't remember the last time I had good pulpo in the USA. The cochinillo 1/4 and paella de marisco was more than enough food did the 3 of us and we will be enjoying the leftovers. Also at the end we saw a great flamenco show.

The best Seafood Paella ever!! Their bread is also very crispy and delicious, as well. My favorite for whenever I want to feel like I am in España!

Pata Negra, a charming Spanish eatery, exudes warmth with its rustic decor. The air is infused with the rich aroma of cured meats, and the menu boasts a delightful array of tapas. It's a culinary journey through the flavors of Spain, with a spotlight on the renowned jamón ibérico.

5 Stars!! An iconic true Spanish restaurant where the owner/chef still comes out and greets you. A rare treasure in these times and a must when visiting Miami.

Our friend recommended that we try this place out when we visited Miami so we booked a reservation here for one of the nights. Let me just say that this place is one of the closest restaurants to those in Spain that I have been to. The food was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. I would suggest that when going with a larger group, instead of each getting individual dishes, getting at least 4 tapas and splitting them and then sharing a paella. It’s so good. Then we were able to enjoy a flamenco show as we were eating and it was performed so well. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. However be aware that it is a more expensive place to dine.

Celebrated my birthday alongside my co-workers at Pata Negra. Service is on point. Sangria is delicious and is served in an authentic pitcher. The Chef came out to check on his guests table and observe that everyone is enjoying their meal. We had several appetizers. Many to choose from. Las croquetas are devine. I had Paella Rustica with Shrimp, Chicken and Pork. The Seafood Paella is delicious. Love the vibrant colors on all their platters. Lastly, the birthday cake was tres leches on top a bed of Crema de Catalana. Decorations and artwork from Spain and music give you the whole experience of Spanish dining.

Service was excellent and food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the seafood paella and regret not making room for more dishes. This is hands down the best paella I’ve found in Florida. The chef even came out and talked to each table for a little bit, which was just so nice of him to share his time like that. There’s a $5 valet service available as well if you have a hard time finding parking. Thank you for your amazing paella!

This place is so cute and the ambiance is so great. It's a small little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. There's a beautiful bar with fantastic drinks inside. If you're into fancy drinks that have fireworks and smoke, this is your place. We ordered SO much food. This is a tapas bar, so you're ordering small eats, and the prices are so on point. What we ordered: Elote empanadas - come with 4 empanadas. The flavor was so unique. Very good. Potatos bravas - this was my favorite thing out of all the things I ordered. I could drink the tomato sauce they lay the potatoes on. Truthfully, they should make a pasta with the sauce. Pork belly - so good! The meat was perfect, and I loved the pineapple with it Calamari - they made this so unique with the curry flavoring! Seafood paealla - probably my least favorite out of everything I ordered. The shrimp in it was cooked perfectly though. Had a great time here. Great fun atmosphere with excellent food.

Very authentic Spanish restaurant, with prices to match. The Merluza was very good, but the Arroz con pollo, cerdo y garbanzos was quite greasy. The weekday Prix fixe menu looks attractive; will try it next time.

Excellent service with an authentic experience, the chef himself came out to welcome us. Spanish tapas in a quaint but refined environment. If you want an off the beaten path gem do not sleep on this place, bring your Spanish translator.

I would recommend to try 5J ham and cheese combination. It’s worth the price. I love the mussel, sweet and fresh peppers with mussel. It’s awesome. Chef is nice, he came out to talk to his customers like an old papa.

Nice atmosphere: they make up for the lack of windows with really interesting art. The presentation of the food was lovely, and the food was delicious.

Creative use of the covered driveway to expand dinning tables due to Covid. Offers a nice outdoor seating option. Bread was to die for!! Again, all Covid restrictions met, individual covered condiments. Definitely order one of the many ham tapas. Wine list is limited but great offerings. Sucking pig was good, served with the head so be prepared!
