Small gym, high price, and AWFUL management. I can not stress this enough the manager is very unprofessional and doesn't care about the members safety at all, even removing safety rails on the squat rack.

The staff are very nice but beware of the month to month contract! It's no such thing! Canceling costs 75% of the remainder of the contract no matter what the salespeople say.

The facility is small and the limited equipment they have is old and poorly maintained. Over the 6 months I was a member, most of their ellipticals broke down and were simply put "out of order". Quality of service from staff is hit or miss. Management is pathetic, bad attitude and no clue or interest in providing good customer service. After my contract expired, they even tried to keep billing my card.

Their computer system doesn’t work properly and your contract is showed as expired while you paid for 6 more months. You show the proof of paiement but they don’t let you in. It’s kind of crazy right? Take always your contract with you if you want to have a good time

I have never given any business a 1 start review, but unfortunately Coral Gables Athletic Club will be my first. I have been trying to get information on canceling my membership and it has been impossible. It makes no sense that there is apparently only one person that can provide cancelation information, and he/she is never there, now my card has been charged a full month again. I was just considering canceling, now it is a certainty. The reviews on management were no exaggeration, i am very disappointed. Actual gym review: Pros: -Clean -Not too busy in the morning Cons: - Monthly price is too high for what you get. ($120 a month). - Small gym, not much equipment. (Again, $120 for a gym this size is high). - No fitness classes before 8AM.

Nice facility, helpful workers, terrible managers and owners. In two separate occasion I've seen them treat people very disrespectful. The difference between the two occasions-- one was a big man who screamed and made a big scene (they gave him what he wanted), the other was the opposite, and gave her the run around. Careful with their contract. Gave them two chances, and I won't be making that mistake again. What a pity, it would otherwise be a nice place to work out. helpful advice-- treat guests better when there is a problem-- you will have better word of mouth.

Incredibly poor management, broken machines that don’t get fixed (been about 6 months on fly machine) dumbbell weights entirely missing, scale broken. It’s a small so it’s crazy they can’t fix or replace things. Also, most staff isn’t very friendly.

Worst customer service ever. Employees has no clue how take care customers, dirty tables, I asked someone to clean my table and this is hard to believe, the waitress came with a small bucket of water and a dirty wipe to clean my table..... are you F .... kidding she splashed water all over the table. Then comes the better part, I ordered a smoked salmon sandwich with extra egg white and this is the best part sandwich without the egg white because the forgot to put it into the sandwich and they brought me a portion of egg white apart to compensate that, Who is taking care this restaurant omg, you guys has no respect for the business either the location, this place is locate in the gables come on. Shame on you. I ll never come back again. Hope google create a zero star review because that is what u guys deserve

Hard to get information; very expensive; value doesn’t match the price; they close at 5PM, kindergarten schedule; and they aren’t flexible. I was expecting much more, especially because it’s located in Coral Gables.

Unfortunately, we had quite a negative experience working with Coral Gables Country Club as our wedding venue. The space itself is beautiful and that’s what had compelled us to book them. We had our ceremony outside in Granada Garden under the banyan tree and our reception in the Grand Ballroom in November of 2021. We had opted for outside catering as it was an Indian wedding (with Indian cuisine) and we did not like nor could afford their in-house catering option. After we booked, they were often poor at responding to our subsequent inquiries while we were planning. It was not unusual for us to send them 2-3 emails over the span of a few weeks before we heard back from them. The staff we dealt with appeared inexperienced and often provided contradicting responses to questions we had. Services that we thought were obviously included (e.g. serving staff, setting of silverware) were not, even though they had told us they would be. Our day-of-event coordinator who has been in the industry for years was also shocked by this. They demonstrated little personal responsibility or advocacy for the client. We constantly felt on our own without any help from them; they honestly felt like obstacles and were a large source of stress during our year of planning. There were continuous instances where I would ask myself "What are we paying for?" They were overpriced and required us to book many services on our own that are typically provided by the venue. In some ways, the latter may have been for the best. The only country club staff that was present at the wedding were two bartenders and restroom attendants. We were told by more than one guest that the bartenders were unprofessional and quite rude to them during the wedding. In addition, our caterer later told us it was difficult working with the country club and that there was no representative readily present for any questions that came up when they used the kitchen during the event (even though the country club had told us there would be). Although it was an awesome and beautiful wedding, it was in spite of the venue management -- not because of it. We were in the position where we had more than one wedding event (as is commonly the case with Indian weddings) and were working with more than one venue simultaneously while planning. We had completely opposite experiences of how it should and should not be to work with a wedding venue. Unfortunately, this was the negative experience.

Be careful if you join. Cons: Non refundable membership, currently under construction with completion that keeps getting pushed out. With the construction, there is very minimal air conditioning, so working out can be unbearably hot. Small rooms that seem packed with only minimal attendance, crowded cycling room with maybe 12 bikes, so class gets full fast. An app that doesn’t always work, been told to call to see if there is availability in classes. Who wants to have to remember to call evey day to schedule classes for the next couple days? Pros: semi-friendly staff and a beautiful pool and locker room.

Facilities are small but decent. Pool and cycling included in membership. The latter seemed high to us so we didn't join.

They had a beautiful bazaar today, filled with so many different delicious treats! My favorite was Sandra Couttenye chocolat!! The flavor was phenomenal and they look like little pieces of art!

We’ve had the pleasure of working at the Coral Gables Country Club, and we highly recommend it to our couples! Our favorite ceremony spot is the courtyard! It’s an intimate area with a gorgeous, natural backdrop. Portrait sessions are a no-brainer because of the luscious golf course facing the venue. The staff is helpful and kind which really made our experience a special one.

This is such a lovely place to spend the day. Right in the middle of charming Coral Gables, this country club has an incredible golf course surrounded by beautiful and historic mediterranean style homes. When we got a community membership, we were able to participate in lots social events, use top-notch amenities, and enjoy an amazing golfing lifestyle in South Florida. I love the gelato from the cafe as well.

We cannot say enough great things about this venue and their hardworking staff! We had our weddingncocktail hour by the pool and reception in the Atrium Room. From start to finish, Valerie, the venue manager, was extremely responsive and patient. She understood all of our requests, followed up, and delivered every single time! The other staff members are just as kind and approachable - thanks for helping to make our wedding reception dreams a reality!

I always pass by this place almost every once in a while. The service there is nice and the bar has amazing food. I also heard about the gym there so I’m willing to try it out. Beautiful place.

A place that has prepped ready-to-toast sandwiches have nothing good to offer. No taste whatsoever, not even their iced coffee. Did not reach my standards at all. Absolutely overpriced.

Elegance at its Finest is this venue for Grand Weddings. I shoot approximately 5 weddings there a year and it has the friendliest staff to accommodate everyone.

My husband and I just joined two weeks ago and we love this place. The staff are very friendly, the classes that I've taken so far were all great-- friendly gym goers that say hello to newbies, encouraging trainers that all look fantastic, very clean facilities and beautiful, refreshing pool. It's a family oriented pool with adorable children and everyone respects the pool lanes, which I love. They have monthly mixers at Cibo nearby. The only downside is that I wish the gym was bigger. Other than that, this is the best gym I've ever joined (gym is really an understatement, actually).

I have clients in the vicinity of the cafe and due to a change in my schedule I’m able to have lunch now. I have stopped in for lunch twice now. The first time I had the roasted vegetables panini and it was great! I also got the basket of fries which was huge and they were very good as well. The second time I ordered the stubs wrap and that was good as well. I can’t wait to try their pizza and pasta dishes too. Everyone has been very nice and welcoming. I recommend the Liberty Cafe!

The food is always excellent well recommended and definitely will be going back very soon.

Homemade gelato, full stop. This simple cafe by the golf course where you can relax during or after a great day outdoors also has fresh salads and fresh squeezed orange juice. You will usually see families lounging about on the wooden benches just outside, with dogs, bikes, skateboards, and other mini transit miscellanea. Bring the kids if you want to have an excuse to try the pizza or do some gelato sampling. Last time I checked they had a blackberry cabernet flavor that looked as tempting as a tinted lip.

AAA Travelling out of Miami to go to California I stopped in Coral Gables to liberty Caffe, now my mother who is in Italian is one of the finest cooks that I know, i'm going to put myself out there by saying the food is equal to my mothers cooking my stars it is fantastic here.. I had the pesto chicken pastor Al dentate cooked to perfection with prosciutto pizza to die for!!! clientele very civilized sophisticated and so reasonably priced this is a must see if you're travelling through Coral Gables..

A late review, but better late than never. Our daughter had her dream wedding at Coral Gables Country Club in May 2021. As she described it, “the most magical day ever “. The staff at CGCC was extremely accommodating, as we were working against two previous weddings canceled due to Covid. The ceremony was stunning in the garden, the cocktail hour in the foyer was lively and last but not least, the reception in the Atrium was absolutely gorgeous. The food was amazing, thank you Lee for everything. No one wanted the night to end, thanks to our band, Project X! Eight months later and we’re still talking about her “magical night “.

**BEWARE** In typical South Florida fashion, money speaks and promises mean nothing with this wedding venue. While beautiful and greeted by friendly faces during our tour, our right of first refusal on our wedding date was completely ignored when someone else who wanted that date, was allowed to sign and pay on the spot. This even comes after we requested a contract to move forward with our chosen date, and after a week +, we still received nothing. I would recommend no one traverse this path with this venue… we’re now back to square one with planning our wedding. It’s also impossible to reach this venue to give them a chance to do right by their patrons.

First time going and I'm hoping it is not my last time. This place was VERY good. So small yet so good.

Coral Gables Country Club is a wonderful place to have any type of venue. Hispanic Digital Coaches Summit is a great example of its amazing organization of staff and venues entertainment management. With full history behind its structures is a place well centered in the city and easy access from bird road or coral way.

I finally had my wedding after 2 years of planning due to covid. My ceremony should have been outside in front of the beautiful tree, we unfortunately had to use our back up plan the day of due to the weather, Lee was so wonderful in offering to use the giant ballroom vs the room that should have been for our ceremony, I cannot thank him enough. My reception was in the Atrium room which the room in itself is so BEAUTIFUL!! We received non stop compliments on how delicious the meals were, the open bar was a nice option as well. I would totally do it over if we could, I enjoyed myself to the fullest!

I cannot speak highly enough of Coral Gables Athletic Club. The coaches and staff are so kind, motivating, and energetic.

A member for twenty years, I continue to remain so due to the reasonable price and close location.

Nice facilities, great classes and good trainers. However the manager should value the limited customers' input a little more. There is a wonderful little cafe next door for healthy food choices.

Beautiful view and not usually too busy. They’ve recently increased prices but doing nothing to keep the place maintained. The manager is surly and does not respond to email, calls and I’ve rarely seen him at the gym. Really unfortunate. If they don’t start fixing things, i will not be renewing my membership.

Maui Tacos soooooo fishy tasting, took 1 bite & sent it back. My dinner partner did enjoy the King crab, BUT $87! Over priced for a place that serves anything in plastic containers (fish dip, sour cream etc) and the lack of ambiance dosent support the prices.

The instructors Aaron and Adela are awesome! The actual gym itself is going through Renovations so that kind of a drag. However, when the renovations are completed it's going to be awesome. Good value for the money. The pool is beautiful but not heated during the winter :-(

Great place to sit outside and enjoy some food and company. Felt like being in a European plaza. Had a pizza and a moccha which were both done very well. The margarita pizza especially. I would only order that again. Can’t recommend enough on a sunny day to sit outside.

Liberty Caffe is one of our favorite, local spots for everything from a quick lunch to a lazy afternoon gelato. The menu has enough variety to satisfy lots of different cravings. Every table has a lovely view of the garden and parking is never an issue, with ample spaces nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful.

RIP OFF!! I ordered a milkshake which only comes in sizes medium or large. I ordered the medium and I got the smallest cup worth of milkshake, which maybe took me about two sips to finish. The milkshake was 7$… what a rip-off! My friend who was with me ordered a small ice cream that had more than double the amount of my milkshake.

I love their Gelato Milkshakes. Their milkshakes are perfect! Not too sweet but just right. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip or the Cookies and Crème. The Empanadas and Macaroons are delicious also.
