The Alhambra Water Tower is a historic landmark located in the city of Alhambra, California. This iconic structure was built in 1927 and stands at 150 feet tall, making it one of the tallest water towers in the United States. The Alhambra Water Tower is a beautiful and unique example of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, with its distinctive red tile roof and ornate detailing. The tower was originally built to provide water to the city of Alhambra and was in use until the 1980s. Today, the Alhambra Water Tower is no longer used for water storage, but it remains a beloved landmark in the community. Visitors can take a stroll through the surrounding park and admire the tower's beauty, or they can climb the stairs to the top of the tower for a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. The Alhambra Water Tower is also a popular spot for photography, with its striking design and unique history making it a favorite among photographers and Instagram influencers. Overall, the Alhambra Water Tower is a beautiful and historic landmark that is a must-see destination for anyone traveling to the Los Angeles area.

This tower is beautiful and historical. However, I wasn’t sure where to park because it located at a neighborhood and it didn’t really have a place to walk around the tower. Nevertheless, it is still good to visit for a quick drive through.

15 Mar 2020 - There isn't much to this attraction, but it's sooooo worth the trip. It's a very peaceful and beautiful site, situated in an upscale residential neighboorhood. It's a welcoming and serene environment. Today was a beautiful day, with perfect blue skies. The pictures I attached here turned out beautifully. Please have a look and slam the thumbs-up below!

After my visit to the Alhambra Water Tower I found information about this tower and now I know that was built in 1924. It is a splendid example of the architectural beauty that typifies Miami’s Master Suburb. Very calm place. There is no attraction, so if you want to have fun, it not right place. My kids said that it was boring and we left that place. Khumoyun Akhmadjonov

There's nothing to do here except look but I think it's worth it. It's just a tower in the middle of a neighborhood but it has an interesting story and it's very beautiful. I also saw a long neck white bird guarding the grounds πŸ˜›

Absolutely breathtaking, a sight to be seen up close in the evening when it is illuminated. You may have driven by it or seen the tip of it over the trees and houses of Coral Gables but you truly can't appreciate it until you walk it's parameter. A beautiful example of 1920's architecture, I would love to take a tour and see the view from the top.

What a marvelous neighborhood. Located within the boundaries of Coral Gables. Adjacent to an incredibly large pedestrian park. Also a rather large and architectural masterpiece of a building. Terrific place to let the children run. Be sure to keep them away from the road. Speeding through the streets is not uncommon.

This was a really beautiful piece of history to see. Situated just in the middle of a neighborhood but took my breath away. Glad this historical building has been preserved! Definitely worth checking out while in Coral Gables.

A little bit of history and architecture in a city full of both (Coral Gables). The tower is a work of art and makes for a good subject for those into photography.

The lighthouse that never seen the ocean is a great pit stop; however, it is in a residential area there is not a parking area.

A nice architecture of a lighthouse built in 1924 which are far away from the sea. This shape of a lighthouse is to cover the steel tank of water supply of the old Coral Gables

Another beautiful site to see if you are in Coral Gables. The artist Teo Hook's parent's house is across the street. The house now belongs to his sister Margaret.

Another one of these majestic spots in Coral Gables. Sun shines during set giving the illusion it’s lighting up the glass spherical top. Must see!

Others won't appreciate it, but if you are cycling around alhambra circle, you'd be amazed by this historic structure. It would be worth it to add this to your stop over list during a bike ride.
