Their Tatte latte is one of the best coffees I have had in awhile. They have a wide variety of pastries to choose from. It’s hard to choose just one. Can’t wait to come back and try their breakfast sandwiches. There is a line that wraps around for good reason.

This Tatte is not just a place to grab a bite; it's a stunning, super clean, modern space that's perfect for hangouts with friends and family. The interior is spacious, light, and wonderfully airy in style. When it comes to their cakes, they do lean on the sweeter side with thicker cream inside. The super fresh fruit toppings are a treat for the taste buds. I couldn't resist the fruit tart; it quickly became my personal favorite. What truly made the experience memorable was the friendly and welcoming staff, who were especially great with my nephews. And I can't forget the barista - super chill and fun to talk to, especially when I customized my drink. This place isn't just about food; it's about creating warm and delightful moments. I definitely will come back next time I am in town.

We kind of stumbled into this place after our lunch at Rasika (which is right across the street). The atmosphere inside was chaotic. I am guessing they have a lot of regulars who have figured their way around. They have several counters apparently selling different kinds of food and no helpful signage. We just wanted coffee! Anyway figured the line for us and ordered coffee, and took our coffee outside (they don’t have much indoor seating). Their coffee was excellent (though it did take me a while to figure out where they hid their sugar)! But one of the best coffees I have had. It is also apparently a popular spot to feed the birds. One of the gentleman next to us was feeding bread crumbs to the birds and one of the bird smacked my friend right across her face in its eagerness to get to them! I guess their homely chaos was more than compensated by the quality of their coffees. Being in an expensive neighborhood- their prices tend to be on the higher side. But not too much and worth the experience!

Fresh made to order entrees and delicious pasties. I really enjoyed their shaksuka. The blend of tomato, feta and egg was delicious.

It is an amazing bakery! The delicacies are incredible. The best espresso I've ever had. Real espresso made by specialists in coffee. The price's high but it's worth it. I am amazed by that place. However, in the day that I went, it was crowded and with a big line to order.

The line was 30 minutes long, at 5:30PM, and then it took 10 more min for the coffees. The desserts were just ok, the kids liked the cheesecakes and brownies but it’s nothing special. The passion fruit dessert was awful, way too sweet and the meringue tasted like egg. We have not tried the food although the dishes I saw in passing looked good but…when I asked the counter worker how long does it take for the savory food she gave me attitude and was unhelpful so we didn’t order any. The table was covered in crumbs and a hair, and the floor featured trash, I know shocking but ..yeah.

The first time I had Tatte was at its original location in Boston by Harvard. My friend took an artistic photo of her toast which I’ll never forget. I was pleasantly surprised to see it while in DC and popped in to get a bakery treat cause when you know there is a reputable bakery near by you can’t pass on a kouign amann. I was sad I couldn’t dine in this time around but everything I’ve ever had here is fantastic. It has a cute and chic aesthetic with even better food. It reminds me of daily provisions in New York which is also a favorite! The photos are from our original visit but the food still looked just as good all these years later.

I visited this cafe while in town for a conference a couple of weeks ago... And then visited again in the same trip, haha. The atmosphere is bright and lively. They have fresh breads and pastries in a display box, very European and appreciated. I got a latte and a Jerusalem bagel. I'd never had a Jerusalem bagel before or heard of it, but I loved it. It was a lovely experience to come here with my coworkers for a couple of mornings during my trip. I won't be forgetting this place any time soon.

Beautiful coffee shop with delicious dessert and so many options. Even though it was a little busy when we were there the customer service was great. I got a matcha latte with a croissant and my fiancé got caramel ice latte with a sugar vanilla donut. We both enjoyed what we got. I plan on coming back when I return to Washington.

A great find during our recent weekend trip to DC. We enjoyed the Cafe so much, we stopped to enjoy breakfast here both days of our trip. The atmosphere is bright and clean. Despite how busy the place got on both visits, staff was friendly and efficient, and our food arrived quickly. Menu of breakfast/brunch items were unique, fresh, and delicious. We enjoyed the smoked salmon, egg, and avocado sandwich, the croque madame, and some amazing pastries. Highly recommend and can't wait to enjoy again on a future trip to the city!
