One
of
the
least
impressive
Ritz.
Nothing
memorable
for
me
here,
not
good
and
not
bad.
The
room
itself
is
decent,
not
sure
when
they
renovated
it,
still
kind
of
new,
with
wear
and
tear
visible,
seems
like
maintenance
is
lacking.
It’s
missing
the
details
and
quality
one
would
expect
from
Ritz
when
they
are
charging
$600+/night.
Our
room
had
a
candy
wrap
rubbish
on
the
corner,
one
of
the
bath
towels
was
slightly
ripped,
shower
cap
was
used
by
a
previous
guest
with
an
empty
box
left
for
us.
Our
room
was
a
bit
dark
at
night,
then
we
realized
it’s
missing
a
floor
lamp.
When
we
called,
the
staff
argued
our
room
layout
didn’t
have
a
floor
lamp
but
clearly
the
website
photo
has
one
for
the
same
room
type.
They
should
have
just
sent
a
floor
lamp
and
not
giving
an
excuse
when
the
guest
asked
for
one.
All
the
valet
staff
was
very
friendly
and
efficient,
especially
the
guy
with
a
suit,
I
think
his
name
is
Junior.
He
is
super
friendly
with
a
great
smile.
Front
desk
staff
tried
to
upsell
the
room,
instead
of
just
upgrading
the
room
for
elite
member.
Valet
parking
is
$45
(displayed
on
our
email
confirmation
but
valet
staff
told
us
it’s
$50,
will
find
out
tomorrow).
Overall,
a
decent
hotel
if
they
charge
$300-$400,
certainly
not
higher
for
the
quality
provided.
Update:
from
2
to
3
stars.
Amy,
the
hotel
manager,
came
to
chat
with
us
when
we
checked
out.
She
knew
it
was
our
anniversary
stay.
She
was
apologetic
about
our
experience
and
offered
to
return
our
reward
points
used
for
the
booking.
It
was
a
nice
gesture
despite
we
didn’t
complain
during
our
stay.
We
were
pleasantly
surprised
that
she
read
this
review
here
and
responded
so
quickly.
We
appreciate
such
quick
response.
