How can anyone give this hotel a decent review? You literally cannot have a conversation in your room due to how horrifyingly LOUD the airplanes are. Seriously, every 3 seconds you hear them. It's constant. It doesn't stop. Aside from that, don't be fooled by the pictures of the pool on their website. It's small and backs up to the parking lot. There is no gift shop for incidentals and their restaurant is terrible, although service is good. Don't pay extra for the patio rooms: If your neighbor is on their patio smoking, well, then you get to enjoy the smoke, too. The neighborhood is sketchy and hotel is on a very busy road. The room is small and furnishings are outdated. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. Only positive, staff is friendly and self-parking is complimentary. Still, I'd prefer a stay at a Motel 6 over this place. Avoid at all costs.

First of all, let's start off with the good. The bed is pretty comfortable, the room is clean, and the lobby is very nice. The bare minimum I would expect out of an overnight hotel stay. What I would not expect is to be told I can't check in because a "computer error" removed my name from the room. I would not expect to be placed in a room with a commercial roofing trash chute in front of the window. I wouldn't expect there to be no water pressure in the shower, which itself gets little to no hot water. I wouldn't expect to be able to hear the neighboring rooms conversations clearly as if they were standing in my room. But the absolute worst part that really gets me was breakfast. Breakfast this morning was not in the restaurant. It was in one of the conference rooms, with the most plain standard "continental breakfast" I've had from any hotel, seated at a communal table with other people who looked equally disappointed to have to share the space. Powdered scrambled eggs, deep fried nasty bacon, and hash browns clearly left under a heat lamp. All standard (but still disappointing) fare for an average hotel that's half the price. Then I had the $60 bill dropped on the table. $60 for a terrible "breakfast buffet" you get included with any other Holiday Inn room you'd stay in. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

I love this hotel and always stay here when in town for business. My other colleagues stay elsewhere, but I am loyal to this hotel. It is beautiful and comfortable. I have always been treated like a VIP. This hotel is most always lower in cost than others in the area. Highly recommend. (PS - NEVER heard an airplane from my room so not sure why others mention airplane noise - they must be at the pool or something. I go there for REST.)

Pros: Incredibly comfortable beds, just the right softness that makes you sink in, relax and get a good nights sleep. Spacious room that was very clean - housekeeping staff really do a tremendous job! Nice and relaxing pool and garden area. Food options are walkable just across the road (Dunkin donuts, arepas, salad bar, Wendy’s, McDonald’s). Cons: You can tell that the foundation of the hotel building is old. Could hear the water pipes squeaking at random times and when the room next door flushed or used the shower. The elevators are also quite rickety / bouncy and don’t run smooth. The shuttle driver wasn’t very friendly. When asked if he could drive us, he seemed annoyed to be dragged away from his conversation and drove very abruptly with sudden breaks. Made us feel like we were a burden when this is actually a service that the hotel offers its guests.

Our stay here was fabulous! From check in to check out, everyone was so friendly. The views from our room were spectacular. The wireless charging alarm clock and the removable/adjustable shower head were such nice touches you don't typically find at a hotel. The pool was excellent and the perfect temperature. It truly felt like a home away from home. We will absolutely be back.

I really liked my staycation experience here. Staff was friendly yet professional and was always there to help. They have a great pool area with beautiful landscaping to chill and relax, which is also good for bringing your laptop and working. Thank you very much for making my stay memorable - Dwight and Lynette at front desk, Fernando at club lounge, German & the other gentleman with glasses at the breakfast restaurant (sorry forgot his name)!

We had an excellent stay; from the check in process to the restaurant and bar service. The rooms were clean and the bedding was plush. The front desk ordered us a car service for early the next morning after our flight was cancelled. We have stayed a couple times at the Intercontinental downtown, and this Intercontinental is 10x as nice. Will definitely be looking it up next Miami visit.

My family and I stayed here in August (sorry for the late post) to be close to the venue for my son’s wedding. We want to commend the front desk staff especially Janisselle, Ana and Lynnette. They were very helpful and made sure we had a great stay. Special thanks to Juan, the bellman, who helped us with our luggage and a few questions we had. It was only his first week on the job, but you would never know. Overall, out stay was great!

The beds were so comfy, the sheets were top tier, and the customer service was great! We had to check in at 4 am because of a canceled flight & lots of chaos. They catered very well to us. My only complaint was that there were a lot of ants in the room- but we were first floor with a door so it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Booked a 2 night stay here. Once I arrived, I was greeted immediately and walked over to the front desk check in. Staff was very friendly and acknowledged my Diamond Elite status. They also asked if I thought of becoming Ambassador. I have considered and they explained to me all the benefits. We were placed in the highest floor away from the elevator just like I requested. The lounge was not available on the club floor. It is now in the bar/restaurant area. It is very minimal compared to the Atlanta Buckhead location. The room is dated. Carpet in the hallway has a old smell. Our room had a balcony which was nice. There was a tub instead of a stand up shower. Not sure if I will return back again.

Room is nice. Everyone is friendly. Food at the restaurant is good. I'm giving them 5 stars because I want to give a shout-out to the staff there. I accidentally left my toiletries bag in the bathroom when I checked out. I called to ask if they found it and they did. I live in Fort Myers, so it's a 2 hour drive away. They sent it back to me by Fed Ex the next day. Such EXCELLENT customer service. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Miami.

We made a reservation here at the last minute. Holy cow! This place is fabulous. It started with Rebecca at Check In. I work in the hospitality field and being on the other side of the desk was so refreshing when I met her. I then met Conrad who was so cool. Happy Hour was great. The food excellent. This hotel will be where we stay when we fly out of Miami from the Keys. Thanks y'all for a truly memorable night!

A few inconveniences but all taken care by the amazing costumer service offered by May in the front desk. Definitely will come back to this hotel. Employees are well educated and will help you and assist you to offer the best costumer service. I highly recommend the breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. What a great service and the is food excellent!

I love staying here. Everything about this hotel is excellent. The few times I couldn't get a reservation and had to stay somewhere else made me realize how much I appreciate this place. The staff always makes me feel welcome and they all go out of their way to take care of me and make me feel comfortable, especially Lynette and Conrad. I'm down here at least once a month and I look forward to every day.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend trip to Miami to see family. The hotel is perfectly located, very clean and I cannot say enough great things about the staff. They were friendly, very courteous and immediately willing to provide snacks and water each time always with a smile on their faces. I'm not sure who the manager is at this hotel but they have the BEST staff! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the breakfast at $24.99 was a bit over priced to us. $15.99 would have been more appropriate. But everything was delicious!

Camila greeted me at the front desk. She was exceptional and made check-in easy; she was knowledgeable and personable. She gave me attention during check-in and did not make me feel rushed, but she also made sure to take care of anyone who needed her quick attention, such as other workers. She is very efficient and friendly. I travel for work and have years of experience with hotel staff. Camila went above and beyond, ensuring I had all the information I needed for a comfortable, restful stay. People like her are why I would recommend this hotel to others.
