Very surprisingly nice for a strip mall restaurant. Atmosphere was great nice decor with dim, romantic lighting. Service was good. Attentive server and host, I felt welcome. Most importantly, the food. I started wity the Tokyo sunrise yuzu cocktail. It was a little sweet for me, but that doesn’t make it bad, I just prefer less sweet. The second drink I tried to order was an old fashioned, which I was then informed they didn’t have any whiskey or bourbon, which I found strange from a restaurant with a “full bar”. I panic ordered a vodka coke and it was…a vodka with coke so no complaints. Now the food. I had the steamed beef dumplings as well as the tuna tartare. The dumplings honestly were amazing. Steamed perfectly wity a lot of filling, and I loved the generous sprinkling of scallions. Also the spicy Mayo sauce it was served with is not something I would normally mix with dumplings but oh my was it so good. The tuna tartare was also pretty good with good quality ingredients. My only complaint with Thay is the ration of chip to tartare. I was loading it on the the chips AND ordered a second portion of chips and I still sent a quarter of it back when I was finished. Replating it with more chips would be a better value for money IMO. Overall, Miyako provides a nice atmosphere, good service, and good food for a fair price. Definitely a solid choice for a date night!

The girls and I planned our galentines dinner here and it was perfect. We ordered the sushi boat for 5, wine and chocolate lava cake. Music was great (variety) and service with Yustiny was amazing. Definitely coming back!

Loved our experience!! Miyako in Doral is such an amazing place! We called ahead of time to reserve our cute table ❤️ Show in pictures: OBOKO ROLL (with plantains on top ~ SUPER YUMMY) also ACEVICHADO ROLL both pictured in the first picture. Second, third and fourth picture include the CHAMPIONSHIP ROLL and our sake bottle called “ 10,000 WAYS” it was also so good to pair it with the sushi! FINALLY was our Thai donuts, SUPER YUMMY AS WELL & irresistible! Overall loved our experience with the food and the service, it’s only our second time going but we will definitely go again! ❤️❤️

The food was exceptional. Such a unique blend of flavors. Our server, Diego, was especially helpful in guiding us through some of the less familiar things on the menu and making suggestions. If I was guaranteed to have Diego as my server every time, I would eat here daily. Wonderful restaurant.

I really like this place, they have fresh fish and the combination of ingredients of their rolls are really good, they also innovate with plates. this time I didn’t take any drinks, my husband got the miyako beer and is you are looking for something light is very good and was very cold. I’m giving 4 and not 5 because I didn’t love the bao buns, the pork belly was good but it has too much chipotle mayo and ended been too spicy while was lacking a little of the usual sweetness use to caramelize the pork belly. Also, not a fan of the tuna tartar, too spicy and with many ingredients that don’t let you to enjoy the fish itself. All other dishes were very good, you can see them in the pictures.

Andrés was the best. He took care of us with care. Paid attention to all requests and made suggestions that were definitely worth hearing. Definitely planning to come here again.

My family and I treated ourselves out for sushi at this place at the end of our family vacation. The server was awesome - a very nice woman who made our experience great. The atmosphere was a little more "diner" and less "fancy," but we had a good time. The sushi wasn't perfectly rolled or uniformly cut - usually a sign of a mediocre sushi restaurant. In this case, though, the taste didn't disappoint. Pictured are two rolls I had never heard of before. One is the Coconut Shrimp roll - it was surprisingly good! I never would have ordered it but my mother-in-law did. I tried one and had to have another. I recommend this one. The other is the Doral roll. My daughter ordered it. It was definitely a full meal, coming with lots of toppings and filings. Our server mentioned that it's her favorite. This was a good night out. If recommend it to anybody.

Our family is in town for business and this restaurant was less than 5 minutes from our hotel. We ordered the bao, and were so pleased with the presentation and the flavor was amazing! We ordered 3 sushi rolls to share and were wowed by them all. But nothing topped the amazing service given by Andres! Highly recommend!!

Lots of options and amazing lunch specials. 100% recommended for sushi if you're in the area. Appetizer and a main will be around $40, average.

My goodness that was a great lunch! Twas my first time eating here and I'll be back for sure before leaving Miami. The service was on point and the food was just as good. It’s been a few years since I discovered this place on “Instagram” and I always kept an eye for it. I was finally able to try it and let me just say that the flavors were otherworldly. Andres, out server, made sure we knew about all the popular dishes/choices, and everything came on time. The atmosphere is very nice, very calm and family-oriented, nothing over the top but also a great place for any occasion. I’d be recommending this place to any friend who’s in the area.
