We live very close by so we decided to try it after a friend recommended this restaurant. Its small and cozy place to go with family and friends or on date night. I went with my husband and left very happy to have found this gem 2 blocks from our house. The service was excellent and the food was very good. The ambiance was very nice, noce music not very loud. Everything from presentation to flavor was on point. We will definitely be back with our family. Edited review: Went again with another couple and we had a great time and really enjoyed our dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our friends took a bottle of wine and they charge you a corkage fee which is a plus if you have a bottle you want to enjoy. We ordered another bottle to pair with our food and was a good recommendation from our server. We were very happy and had a wonderful dinner.

Perfect date night spot. The space was not cramped like other reviewers have mentioned. Service was great. The gorgonzola fondue for the golden calamari was too watery and could be thicker. The veal ossobuco was good, but nothing amazing. The risottos were very good. The desserts were to die for. Got the Arroz con leche cheesecake and the churros. The churros had this sweet filling, which made it very unique.

I had the best time and the best dinner at this little cute but warm place. The chef is amazing. You can pretty much order anything from the Manu and you will be delighted. My husband brought me here and I r ally enjoyed the food. I will definitely come back.

Enjoyed our nephew’s birthday in a very nice and cozy atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. We were treated very well by a professional yer friendly staff. This was our 2nd visit and it definitely won’t be the last .

I had lunch with colleagues at Fugato. Food is amazing but portions are way too small. Main dishes are the size of appetizers. And appetizer are just a tiny thing. I will think twice before going back again, although the food is delicious.

I was enveloped in an immediate sense of warmth and hospitality ad soon as they open the door. The service was impeccable, and the culinary experience was nothing short of delightful. The ceviche, in particular, evoked fond memories of the authentic Panamanian rendition rather than the more commonly found Peruvian style. The tiradito but specially the octopus were the perfect prelude to an exceptional evening. The recommendation for the red wine was spot on, ask for The Tempranillo. The banquette seating added a touch of intimacy and comfort to the entire experience, a detail I always appreciate. For sure I will come back.

Food was fresh and great taste. The food on the plate was not a lot but enough to satisfy me. A bit expensive, but the food and service would allow me to recommend the place. I hope to be back later. Great job the owners are doing here.

Excellent food and service. Risotto with Churrasco was different but absolutely delicious. The risotto with squid in fruta de mare was delicious as well. The squash soup was amazing. Pricing was decent for the area. Service was great too.

Fugato has to be one of the best fine dining restaurants were it doesn’t dent your wallet. It can go head to head with any top restaurant in South Florida for there quality of food, taste and price. Its a rare find to see in Miami.!!! The best part is we live in Coral Gables and we can literally walk to Fugato. 😀 So we walk in to this newly renovated restaurant with around 20-25 tables give or take and your greated by your host, we had made reservations so we were seated immediately. The atmosphere and vibe is like if it was and extension of your dining room and you had a private party in your home. Within minutes your served water and the VIP treatment begins…. This dinning experience we did with our good friends, and one of them is Italian so expectations were high, so the food had to be on point with even Michelin ⭐️ rating because our friends were recommended by there friends as well. We had the pleasure to be waited on by either the owner, manager or a very extremely knowledgeable waiter which was a master at his craft, i will definitely edit this review with his name. Our friends took a bottle of their own wine and this restaurant offers a very well priced service to serve your own wine if you bring it. We started off with the recommendations of 4 cheese croquettes and salmon tartare on tostones, both were delicious but the croquettes get a 6 stars. As we drank our wine and enjoyed the dining with our friends the ambiance was perfect not to loud and not to low were you would be bothering our guest. Pretty shocking you will find lots of choices for your main course that all will taste amazing, i know cause we tasted our friends food as well. I ordered the risotto with calamari and lobster, and my wife a pasta that was to die for. Our friends ordered ossobuco with risotto and all had the 5 star presentation and taste of great chef and we trained staff. We finished our bottle and order a nice chardonnay from a nice selection of wines they offer. Leave some space for the dessert because there all done with home made recipes so you will love them. I'm in town visiting family and was treated to a meal at Fugato.. I had a black squid risotto topped with lobster thermidor. The meal was plated beautifully and the flavor was exquisite. I literally had a gastronomical orgasm! I'm not kidding. This the place to treat someone you love. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was intimate yet relaxed. Loved it!

Fugato was simply delightful and delicious. The lobster carbonara was out of this world. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The small and intimate ambiance made it special. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you Luis.
