🫤 EDIT**** I went back again and brought my mom out for her birthday dinner. I'm so appalled at the service. Forgot three of our dishes. I will not come back. You think on a 200 dollar order they would write it down. No. Will not be doing service with them again. People often mention Korean, great,

We had a great time here - awesome menu with delicious food/drink and great staff. The owner came out and recommended menu pairings. It was our first time doing Korean BBQ and she made sure everything was cooked to *perfection*. We also enjoyed the bubble tea with shots, onigiri, bibimbap, skewers, and kimbap. Love the environment and its cleanliness, everyone was kind, and we really want to come back for karaoke.

Wait time: Seated immediately on a Sunday evening with a group of 6. Ordered: -Combo 1: 4 Spicy Fried Chicken Wings, Portebello Mushroom Fries, fries and served with ketchup and ranch on the side. Lots of food, ate this as a meal. Wings had good crunch, flavor and meat was moist, but overall it was nothing too special. Fries were not hot when served. -Stir-Fried Spicy Pork: I was expecting Korean spicy marinated pork and this was not it. My partner still enjoyed it although pricy. -Tiramisu Boba half sugar: Very good. They get their boba from La Tea. Vibe: Food took a bit although we were the only ones in the restaurant. A little confused about if we pay at the table or at the counter. We ended up getting up to pay at the counter since no one checked in on us. Parking: We parked at the parking garage across the street. Would I return?: No. Overall the price and quality of food do not entice me enough to return. Although advertised as a Korean restaurant, I’m unsure if it’s authentic.

I visited this place over five times. As a Korean, I can tell that the cook isnt Korean or their recipe is not authentic Korean style. However, the food was good! I had Budae jjigae many times and it was great. I asked them not to include cilantro(original Budae doesnt have it) and porkbelly(bc it has smell. If I made this,I would rather use bacon instead of thin porkbelly.). I also tried spicy tuna Kimbap and spicy fried wings. Both were great. If you want to try fusion Korean food, I would recommend this place!

The staff greeted us joyfully and took us to a table in their spacious seating area. K-pop played lightly in the background. We ate tofu bibimbap and friend green beans—both were delicious, though the bibimbap sauce is just as spicy as they say, so trust them on that! We also ordered the m/m lemonade with black currant, and it was not our cup of tea. It tasted so sweet it was almost like kool-aid or melted popsicle. We noticed—too late—that we could have ordered 1/2 sugar, and probably should have. We had LOTS left over, so though it was a fairly pricey meal for a two-person lunch, the quantity of food makes up for it a little bit.

We had the Dakjjim, portobello fries, and the spicy pig ears. The Dakjjim was almost the same as what we had in Korea. Everything was very good. We got there before it got busy. Price is a little high for every day eating but the food was worth it. We left so full we could barely walk and have lots of leftovers. The only thing annoying was the live music. The volume is too high for the size of the place. Music should not be painful to hear.

Food is great and worth every penny. However, for a restaurant that encourages social eating, it is extremely hard to hear and talk when they have customers or guests playing music that is extremely loud. This has happened 2/3 visits here. The music is fine, great even. However, the mixing is louder than a motorcycle engine and it is hard to even think, much less order your food. Depending on the waiter, service is great. There is a guy who comes off a little rude, but I'm sure it's because the music is too loud to conversate. As for the food, it is the best Korean food in Eastern Iowa. Though I wish when you order the BBQ you could grill it yourself, but the chef grills it for you on a portable burner that they leave on your table.
