This
congregation
was
formed
about
a
hundred
years
ago
by
immigrants
to
the
area.
Today,
their
descendants
carry
on
the
proud
traditions
of
their
forefathers.
The
people
are
very
friendly,
and
visitors
are
welcome.
The
present
congregation
is
a
mix
of
local
people,
as
well
as
people
from
all
over
the
world.
The
imam
is
an
educated
and
enlightened
man.
People
of
all
ages
attend
the
services
and
programs
here.
Having
lived
in
many
places
and
attended
many
mosques,
I
can
say
that
i
have
seen
places
that
catered
more
to
a
certain
nationality
or
group.
I
have
never
felt
like
an
outsider
here.
This
comfortable
place
is
a
center
for
families
and
individuals
alike,
from
all
walks
of
life.
I
think
it's
unusual
in
America
to
find
a
mosque
whose
members
have
been
here
for
many
generations,
and
have
deep
roots
in
the
community.
This
is
reflected
in
the
warmth
and
friendliness
of
the
welcome
you
get
when
you
visit.
You
should
stop
by!
You
will
probably
run
into
someone
you
know!
