I was working onsite for a company. They had an event and they hired the taco truck. It was well over 100 degrees where you don’t want to eat. Aroma coming from truck was amazing! Line was long but moved fast! I got the combo platter which consisted of 2 Street Tacos with Carnitas as my meat and Buffalo Chicken Empanada. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! outside the truck they had Various drinks like jarritos, water and various soda. Also had chips, pick and Guap! I’m from Greenlawn and wiling to drive to the store! I love carnitas, never had this style where it’s “mushy” and I loved it!

So we heard about this restaurant from friends and checked their Google reviews and decided to try it ourselves. We ordered our food onsite. Waited maybe 10 minutes, in the meantime they were doing a pretty good business with a lot of order pickups and Uber eats etc. We had ordered various dishes for 4 people and everyone really liked their meals. Everything was prepared correctly the way we had ordered, Food was packaged great and had many sauces to try. Portion sizes were good and prices were reasonable. We'll definitely order from them again.

I started following Taco Island on Instagram and had to try their food. It tastes even better than it looks. The manager and staff are extremely friendly. They even gave us their signature tacos and drinks on the house. A must try!

Good place to have some good Mexican food. Very friendly staff. Good pricing. Tried their fish tacos and it was good. Not the best fish taco as personally I found the wish slightly more oily and the whole taco a tad bit bland than the other good and authentic places o have tried before, nonetheless it was tasty and like able. Will try this joint for the other items as well. A large variety to select from.

Wow, this Steak Quesadilla was sooo delicious and The guacamole 🥑, I can say is probably one of the best Iv ever tried. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place, the food and customer service was AMAZING. The buffalo chicken empanada was one of the best empanadas I have ever tried, it was the perfect amount of cheese and chicken and not over bearing with the sauce. The chicken street tacos were probably the best tacos I’ve ever tried honestly, had so much flavor and the chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Also their chipotle sauce was a good touch. 10/10 would recommend, defiantly will be going back very soon.

We absolutely love this place! This love affair started when we had a taste at Target parking lot. The food truck was amazing. I usually have the vegan option and it's amazing. My husband a carnivore has tried several items on the menu and to date has not been disappointed. The food is fresh & delicious! The staff is super friendly. The location is a bit far out for us. We have tried other places but nothing has been able to come close to the food here.

We always have loved this place! Ever since they opened it has been 10/10! Tonight we ordered takeout and we’re blown away! I tried two new tacos( the potatoe taco and crab cake) and both were out of this world! So fresh ALWAYS! Thank you taco island for always delivering awesome flavors and phenomenal quality food with the freshest ingredients!

We used their food truck for my sister's bridal shower and they exceeded all my expectations. The food, staff, and price were unbeatable. We've used food trucks for events before and while they were always a good experience, Taco Island was by far the BEST. I highly recommend using them. The food is outstanding. Probably some of the best Mexican food I've ever had.

We used Taco Island’s food truck for our daughters 2nd birthday. It was an absolute hit!!! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! The most relaxing party we have ever thrown because of the convenience of the food truck being on site to handle everything! I would recommend them over and over! We are looking for excuses to get them to come again!!

I order from here all the time since it is conveniently on my way home. No matter when or what I order flavors have always been consistent and the food is so fresh you would think the ingredients were processed just that morning, who knows maybe it is. All the sauces they give you are amazing, my favorite has to be the verde as it goes with everything and if you like hot sauce that is more flavor then heat definitely give their house hot sauce a try. I will continue to consistently go back to my favorite Tex-Mex place on all of Long Island

Tough to find good quality, authentic Mexican street tacos in this area and it’s nice to see there is finally an option. Also, they offer good more unique options like birria style tacos with barbacoa. I would consider prices to be high but definitely on par with all other places on Long Island!

Hands down favorite taco place on the island, the foods absolutely amazing, the employees are always so friendly and kind. We always dine in, hoping they open a place a little more out east!!

My job had a food truck event for employees today, and taco island was there. I had the fish tacos, w guacamole and chips. Bro… I’ve been talking about this all day. Had to be the best fish tacos I’ve had in a while. The fish was perfectly cooked, nice light brown in color. The combination of flavors, and the sauce.. mouth watering. The guacamole was fresh, and tasted delicious. The homemade chips were perfect. I asked for a card so I can refer friends and family . Very impressed w taco island’s food.

I had Taco Island cater a party I was having this weekend and everything was amazing. They were very friendly, came on time, delivered and set up for me and all the food was delicious. They also had vegan/vegetarian options which were great. My guests loved it all! Will definitely cater from them again. Highly recommend!

I Ordered from the food truck at the Rocky Point Miller Place St Patrick's Day Parade and it was really good!!!!

Googled "Tacos near me" and couldn't have been happier. It was made FRESH and it was delicious. I ordered one of the steak and pork birria taco, a shrimp and a fish taco. When I'm back in the area I'm definitely stopping by again!

We are huge Mexican food lovers and we were pretty impressed! We ordered a bunch of different items to get an idea of what was the best! Definitely loved the classic burrito, tacos, empanadas, my son went crazy for cheese roll ups. Overall we had a great experience!

I've been here a few times before and have always been happy with my experience. I'd just like to leave a review to say the owner was wonderful. He came into my job recently and asked us if we've had lunch yet. He then showed up not even a half hour after he left and brought us a spread! Asked for nothing in return, just a nice gentleman who wanted to take care of his community and local businesses. Best believe I'll be back.

Quite honestly some of the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. !! The staff was soooooo nice and helpful when asking questions about the menu. Clean nice eating area. I will with out a doubt be eating there more frequently. They serve the best damn tacos on Long Island !!!

I had a wonderful experience working with Taco Island. They are professional, accommodating, and very easy to work with. They came to a school event I was helping to run and it was so easy to communicate with them. The food was so good that we have people still craving the tacos! I highly recommend them!

I went here today with my family and we had the fish tacos, beef tacos, Burria tacos, beef and cheese empanadas, cheese quesadilla, and nachos. Everything was absolutely delicious! The staff was amazing and the customer service was wonderful. We will definitely be back. 😊
