    I have been training with Cathal for just under 2 years, and it's entirely different experience for a gym- Cathal and Conor make sure that you understand the primary movements to set you up for success and reach your goals, as well as creating a really laid back and supportive environment. The longest gym membership I've ever had, they try so hard to keep things varied and fresh.

    I haven’t stepped in a gym in years and was extremely apprehensive joining SOLAS but wanted to make a positive change. Cathal was so welcoming and encouraging and made me feel at ease from day 1. The workouts are well explained and have a great structure that keeps you working hard for the full hour. The more challenging exercises always varying degrees of difficulty for all levels. Cathal gives constructive feedback and is extremely knowledgeable! Thanks for helping me find my way back to a healthier lifestyle post lockdown! I look forward to training here for a long time to come.

    Small friendly groups Conor n Cathal are both amazing instructors who will encourage you every step of the way and help you with everything you want to achieve well worth a look into if you haven't already

    Great gym for those that like instructor led programs, that change regularly, and small classes. The instructors are great with beginners offering "easier" exercises in the routine that allow you to buuildstrenght without injury.

    Joined SOLAS recently and really enjoying it. Cathal and the team are very welcoming and explain everything so well. Love its a small group of people in the class so you get feedback throughout.

    Excellent training from Conor, who has great patience with us gang. Both Cathal and Conor are very professional and explain everything to you on correct techniques. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly.

    I normally don’t like gyms but having small, instructor led classes makes a huge difference. It’s way more enjoyable! There’s great attention to detail so you know you’re doing the exercises correctly and you’re doing the right level of weights. Cathal and Conor are very approachable and there’s always a good friendly vibe to the classes. They change up the exercises so it doesn’t get boring. Really recommend the classes

    Excellent class-based weight and conditioning training. I recently started and rapidly improved fitness and strength in a few short weeks. Cathal has a great approach and focuses on technique to ensure a proper workout. All exercises are clearly explained and feedback given to ensure you are maximising your workout. The range and mix of exercises over the weeks keeps it fresh and interesting. Never thought I’d actually enjoy getting up early to go to the gym for a 6am workout.

    Fantastic class-based gym experience. Cathal's classes are well structured and planned. Even within a group setting there is a strong focus on the requirements of each individual. Cathal is meticulous about technique, allowing for continuous improvement without fear of injury. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

    My physiotherapist recommended Cathal to me and I have been attending classes in Solas ever since. There is a huge focus on technique in training which I never experienced in other gyms. Cathal is a fantastic trainer and I would recommend everyone to try the classes in Solas. They make you feel a stronger and saner version of yourself.

    Great facilities and coaching. Big emphasis on technique and educating members to allow for sustainable results. Excellent to have the new cardio room and the sports massage with Conor. Highly recommend joining!

    I have been going to Solas for a month now and I cannot recommend more highly. I’m still just learning but I feel great. I’ve ditched the weighing scales (we had a very intimate relationship before!!), because the way I ‘feel’ is enough. The routine, the attention of the coaches, the extra advice around diet, hydration etc is just brilliant! If you’re THINKING about joining - go for it. You won’t regret it!

    I found working with Conor was invaluable in my recovery from a long term shoulder injury. The combination of physical therapy and strength training was really powerful. Conor's expertise and attention to detail has lead to real results and I am now not only pain free and moving better but stronger than I have ever been.

    I started in Solas in January, I am going to turn 50 this year and had never lifted weights and had no idea where to start. So I joined the beginners class and have not looked back. From the start I’ve been instructed on how to do everything correctly and I welcome the ongoing feedback. Everyone’s technique is monitored at each class. I’ve met lovely people of all ages each week also. The class size and frequency is perfect for me. I’m so glad I took the first step.

    I’ve been going to SOLAS for a number of years after a friend recommended Cathal as a trainer. Cathal’s training targets all of the strength, mobility and aerobic aspects needed with a huge focus on correct technique. I feel better and more flexible after every session. During the various lockdowns, Cathal’s regular and varied zoom sessions as well as his healthy habits have been life-savers and I feel stronger than I was a year ago. I would highly recommend Cathal as a top-class trainer and would encourage people to sign up for the online zoom sessions now.

    Cathal is a very knowledgeable, experienced and highly qualified trainer, you work at your own pace and I definitely saw huge improvement in my mobility and strength. Classes are small and personal and Cathal takes the time to correct you and note your weaknesses and along with encouragement and personal attention will get you where you need to be. I’ve attended a lot of gyms in my life ( I’m 57) and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

👍👍 I've been going to KJ for over 2 years now and I love it there. The coaches are unreal and there's a really good, friendly atmosphere with everyone down there. The gym just got a makeover recently and it looks amazing. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.
