    The reason this is the first yoga class I've ever stuck with is because of Johanna. She is a fantastic teacher who has created a space where you learn about your own body and how to best meet your needs through breath and movement like no other I have experienced. Her hybrid model of physiotherapy science-based knowledge and mind-body connection is something that helps me everyday on both a physical and emotional level. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you Johanna!

    Johanna's classes are for everyone, it doesn't matter if you have previous experience in yoga or not, Johanna adapts her classes to all levels and physical conditions. Her great knowledge of the body and movements helps you understand what is behind each movement or yoga pose. Highly recommended!

    Fantastic experience. A yoga class like no other I've experienced before. Johanna is a wonderful teacher: knowledgeable, conscientious and warm. She encourages you to explore the movement that suits your own body and is always ready to offer modifications and advice to suit your own particular needs (her physio background means she's exceptionally good at that). Absolutely recommended!!

    I recently had the pleasure of attending a mini retreat hosted by the wonderful Johanna, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The retreat was focused on self-care, recharge and renewal, and it was clearly what I needed to take a break from the stresses of everyday life. Johanna created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and her knowledge of yoga and mindfulness was truly impressive. She guided is through a variety of poses and breathing exercises, and I left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. What I appreciated most about this mini retreat was the personalised attention and care that the yoga teacher provided. She took the time to get to know each of us individually and made sure that we were comfortable and safe throughout the entire retreat. Overall, I highly recommend Johanna to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Her expertise and dedication to self-care and mindfulness are truly remarkable and I can’t wait to attend another retreat with her in the future

    A very well prepared and facilitated mini retreat which incorporated a lovely blend of movement and stillness to take at your own pace. Johanna offers wonderful instruction and support to meet and move your body as it needs to in the present moment. Her knowledge and respect for the body was very evident as was the knowledge she brings from both a physio and yoga background. Highly recommend.

    I have attended many different yoga classes over the years and Johanna’s really have an extra something special. The integration of physiotherapy into the class gives another dimension and is so beneficial. It’s all tailored to each person and adapted as needed. I find her approach very inclusive of differing needs, specifically people who may be neurodivergent or have experienced trauma, as there are always many options provided for movements depending how we feel on the day. Everything about the classes, from how the equipment is laid out, to the pacing and delivery, is thoughtful and intentional. I always learn something about the body, whether it’s breath, posture, or figuring out what I need. I cannot recommend Johanna’s classes more highly to anyone looking to find some strength, flexibility, recovery, or just a moment of peace!

    I have attended a couple of Johanna's evening Relax and Recharge evenings and once I finish I end booking another for the following month. I feel so recharged and relaxed after each session. Johanna has a unique way of creating a nourishing, safe space and I wished I lived closer to the city so I could attend her sessions more regularly! Looking forward to attending again soon.

    I attended Johannas' rest and relaxation retreat and it was amazing. From start to finish Johanna created such a warm, welcoming and safe space for everyone. The exercises were suitable for all levels and her guidance through the meditation was so lovely and relaxing! I would recommend this retreat to anyone, as it was the perfect way to wind down after a busy week and ease into the weekend ahead. Thanks again Johanna!

    Every Monday evening at leave my house half asleep after work and go to Mixed Level yoga class and every time I leave the class stretched, more relaxed, happy that I can feel my body building up strength, more aware of what my body is ready for and what I want to achieve. I really recommend yoga with Johanna to everyone who is interested in long term goals for their body and mind, and feeling better about their body.

    Johanna's classes are excellent. She brings her knowledge of physiotherapy and the management of chronic conditions and overall body wellness to the gentle practice of yoga. I have found these classes to be the perfect next step in my recovery from long term arthritis and pain conditions. Cannot recommend them highly enough

    A gorgeous class in a great setting. Johanna's instruction is fantastic and easy to follow. I'm looking forward to attending again when classes resume. I would highly recommend Johanna's classes for anyone wishing to improve mobility, strengthen then body and achieve balance using the breath/body connection.

    I’ve tried yoga classes online, via apps and in-person before I found PhysioYoga and all have felt very restrictive and far from doable for someone as me who are (were) quite new to yoga. Already from the first class with Johanna at PhysioYoga I felt like this is what I’ve been expecting all along but I hadn’t found anyone who lived up to those expectations. She makes everyone feel seen and heard, she really spends time helping us all understand the importance of finding our own way of movement and not following a strict regime as all other I'd found before did. I was so so relaxed and present in my body after the first class and have been pretty much at all of them since and I feel how yoga really can help me and others when done correctly for YOU. I highly recommend trying! Plus the price of just one class is very small for what you get.

    Johanna is a brilliant Yoga teacher. Have been going to her classes for a few years now and what I like about them is that she has a really lovely teaching style. It's not just simply doing poses and trying to copy them, Johanna explains how the body moves, the importance of breath work and also knows that each person and their flexibility is different. This is turn makes you more intuitive to what your own body needs. Each class has a different theme which she clearly explains at the start of the class. Would definitely recommend anyone to go as after the classes you feel fantastic both physically and mentally!

    If a good stretch is what you're looking for, these yoga sessions are excellent. Johanna's classes focus on strength and mobility, infusing science, mindfulness and compassion so you always come away feeling great and refreshed while also having learned something new. It's not a one size fits all kind of class either as she always gives a mix of variations for each move to suit your ability or mood on the day. I highly recommend!

    Johanna’s classes are excellent. She is very patient and is great at giving direction. It’s not just yoga she also teaches you so much more about your body. I recently attended the relax and recharge evening. If you can book a space for this event you won’t regret it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to booking again.

    Johanna is a fantastic physio and yoga instructor. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, she went went out of her way to accommodate our sessions and helped me immeasurably to increase my flexibility and core strength. I thoroughly enjoyed all our sessions together, an incredibly patient teacher who goes above and beyond for her clients. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

    I would highly recommend Physio Yoga to everyone, each week there is a different class theme focusing on specific areas and techniques. Johanna is a fabulous teacher & a truly genuine lovely person, she teaches the classes in a way that suits everyone no matter what your previous experience with yoga. She encourages you to move at your own pace and to be aware of how your body is feeling. I have learnt so much about how to move to make me feel good and I love going to class every week! If you are looking for a yoga class that is informative, relaxing & enjoyable then i would 100% recommend Johanna’s classes.

    I recently attended a physio yoga class with Johanna. The studio is earthy. airy, spacious, warm and comfortable with a lovely relaxing vibe. All props are provided. Johanna is clear and thorough in her instruction and explains and demonstrates each posture carefully. Looking forward to trying her intermediate class soon! Gail

    Physio yoga classes are great. Johanna facilitates an individual approach to yoga. She pays attention to everyone and how they’re doing in detail. The classes are informal and friendly. I find myself feeling fantastic for days after a class and the flexibility I’m looking for is starting to come too.
