🫤 Nobody keeps clean. After sauna or steam room directly going to the pool and nobody follows the rules !!! Definitely I will change my leisure time to much cleaner place!! People often mention pool,

Great gym with a very affordable 3 months plan. The swimming pool is not huge but good enough to let you exercise perfectly. The personnel is always nice and willing to help. My favorite gym in town.

This gym is probably the best value for money in cork. They only offer 1 membership deal which is €99 for 3 months, and sometimes during holidays they offer 1 month for €50. The gym is a very basic gym. There is no squat rack, only 2 benches and 2 barbells. There's only about 60kg of weights available for the barbells and if you can lift anywhere near that, you're gonna be waiting for weights to become available because they'll probably be in use already. The machines are fairly basic but there is a good selection. Ive never had to wait for a treadmill, spinning, rowing or stair machine as long as I've been there, which is about 6 months. The pool is a nice size, and has a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Personally I wouldn't use the steam room or jacuzzi but they are what i would expect from a hotel pool. I love using the sauna there and try to use it at least once a week. Ive never had a problem with the staff and neither has anybody I know of in the gym. They give you a training routine when you first join the gym, but I follow my own routine so i have no idea how good/bad the plan is. I would give this gym a 3/5 but the pool and bargain price give it a 4/5.

Good little gym! Very affordable. But try avoid peak times as it doesn't leave much.. Really enjoy this place!

Terrible run down place. Very dirty. Reflections show through poor staff and management. Especially the woman at reception, absolutely terrible person

I went twice to the leisure centre during my stay. I found the pool and the jacuzzi outstanding. Mark ,Niamh and her staff made me feel very welcome. The place was very clean. I loved staying in the hotel and the added bonus was my trips to the pool. I would highly recommend the Metropole Hotel and Leisure Centre. Thank you

The gym itself is extremely small. At peak hours you can't use any machine at all. The machines are very old as well. Even though the prices are reasonable it's not worth it.

The swimming pool is not in service for the last months. Also you can't have a shower after gym. The gym doesn't have too many machines byt but it's rather ok. No pool so I think that after months of waiting I'll just cancel my membership.

It is not crowded at the moment. They have 2 separated rooms. Staff are nice. The equipments are pretty old but well conserved. There is just one treadmill working and there is no ventilation in one room. Considering the price it's ok.

Joined recently. Staff at reception and instructor very professional. Spotless clean and all you need to do a workout, followed by swim.

😠 Went to this gym for 4 years, came back today to use a guest pass and I was told I could only use certain parts of the gym after paying €11. Receptionist couldn’t have cared less. It’s a shocking system, extremely crowded gym with staff who could be friendlier and nicer. The booking system is very i...

😠 We drove three hours from Dublin for the Irish bouldering league competition. We had previously registered with Awesome Walls Dublin. We assumed this would be sufficient, but you have to book for induction at each individual center 48 hours in advance. It does not say this on the website. No slots f...

👍👍 Downloaded the LeisureWorld app and joined using the free membership; very simple to use the booking and payment system. The family pool sessions fill up fast so I'd recommend booking a few days in advance (the single swim seem to always be available, so if it's just you, you'll probably be OK booki...
