As
someone
who
had
never
tried
any
yoga
classes
before,
I
decided
to
try
Ashtanga
Yoga
Cork
as
the
early
morning
classes
and
the
mysore
style
of
teaching
seemed
more
suited
to
my
own
needs.
I
was
immediately
made
to
feel
comfortable
by
Eunice,
who
gradually
took
me
through
some
of
the
movements
and
explained
more
about
Ashtanga.
Eunice
also
told
me
that
my
body
wouldn't
like
me
the
next
day,
and
she
was
right!
Ashtanga
Yoga
is
not
easy
-
it
is
physically
demanding
and
can
be
quite
strenuous,
but
when
I
left
that
first
class
I
felt
a
tremendous
sense
of
calm,
ready
to
face
the
day
ahead
of
me.
I
have
been
going
to
the
shala
for
just
over
5
weeks
now,
and
it
remains
as
challenging
as
it
does
calming.
I
have
aching
muscles
where
I
didn't
even
know
I
had
muscles,
but
I
can
already
feel
both
physical
and
mental
benefits,
and
I
am
still
surprised
and
delighted
with
the
small
progress
I
have
made
so
far.
Eunice
is
a
great
instructor,
patient
and
encouraging,
and
the
morning
mysore
classes
are
never
intimidating,
despite
some
of
the
other
participants
being
far
more
advanced
in
the
style.
The
atmosphere
is
always
friendly
and
welcoming,
and
the
shala
itself
is
a
really
great
space.
I
would
highly
recommend
Ashtanga
Yoga
Cork,
especially
for
people
who
might
feel
uncomfortable
in
larger,
led
classes.
