Popped
into
this
small
Italian
restaurant
before
takimg
our
flight
home.
The
owner
was
very
welcoming
his
regular
customers,
and
rightly
so.
It
would
have
been
nice
to
have
a
warm
welcome,
we
may
have
been
potential
new
regular
customers.
When
shown
to
our
table
the
waitress
ran
in
and
appologised
for
being
late
on
her
first
shift.
Orders
taken
and
the
starters
were
prompt
and
hot,
I
had
homemade
tomato
and
basil
soup,
which
was
nice
but
a
little
salty
for
my
palate.
My
husband
had
Toni's
special
home
made
garlic
bread
which
was
disapointing
as
it
was
basically
a
shop
bought
pizza
base
with
garlic
and
olive
oil.
After
a
few
harsh
words
with
the
waitress
because
Toni
had
told
her
once
about
a
certain
wine,
he
got
back
to
cooking.
I
opted
for
the
spaghetti
bolognaise
and
my
husband
for
the
penne
dish,
again
mine
was
too
salty
and
parmesan
cheese
had
been
put
on
without
asking
if
I
wanted
any,
my
sauce
was
very
thick
and
not
the
best
I've
had,
however
my
husbands
was
a
little
better,
we
chose
not
to
have
desert
on
this
occasion.
The
waitress
was
very
nice
and
couldn't
be
more
attentive,
hopefully
Toni
will
be
a
little
nicer
and
she
might
stay.
On
looking
around
after
ordering
the
restauramt
could
do
with
a
deep
clean
and
sprucing
up,
if
the
lighting
wssn't
so
low
and
we
had
seen
it
needed
such
a
clean
we
would
not
have
ordered,
it
was
a
good
job
our
flights
were
delayed
as
both
our
stomaches
were
off.
Would
I
go
again
no,
would
I
recommend
no.
